Location was great and we just walked everywhere we wanted to go. Conveniently located to the centre of town, eateries and attractions. The room was clean and well presented, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well.

The method of check in. We had informed the property of the late arrival of our train, and they had acknowledged receipt of that information. It was a hot balmy night and we walked from the train station. When we arrived at the hotel we read the instructions on how to gain entry, but the 'phone' we had to use did not allow us to connect with their checkin, after several attempts. It took nearly 10 mins to gain entry. We were tired, hot and bothered. Apparently, the 'phone' goes to a central call centre - somewhere and that there was a lag between communication with the property and us. Also, the cost that we expected to pay was not what we ended up paying as there is a surcharge for debit card.

Great location, walking distance to everything local, pubs, cafes shops but not too close that you experience any noise. Nice sized rooms with a great balcony. Wonderful view of the township from our room. Very clean. Nice comfortable bed. Everything was very clean and tidy. They also have a great incentive for not cleaning your room unnecessarily where the funds are donated. No disturbance from any other hotel patrons. Secure parking out the back as well. Desk staff friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was not the best, however no more $ really than you would pay at some cafes. The basic eggs, toast, beans, mushrooms, bacon, hash browns, tomato, oats etc. They did have a juicing station and a nice nut selection. Small continental section as well. Pastries and muffins too. It just wasn't very appealing .

Loved the modern spacious bedroom. The decore was exactly as the promotional pictures on the booking site. Location made it superb to walk the shops, pubs, and cafes. Room was lovely and dark at night with very little traffic noise. The lift option made the transpotation of suitcases to our room level a fantastic bonus. Ice machine available in the laundry room. Secure parking.

The built-up slimy orange soap scum on the inside step of the shower door. (Shows that it had been missed being cleaned on more than one occasion) A secured body wash in the shower that was non funtional. No cold water jug in the fridge. Tiny bathroom.

the room was well appointed. location for us was great especially as I hired a car. 2 bedrooms would have been better as I travelled with my 18 year old son for a swimming competition and extra room would have been better. lucky for me the beds were comfortable and my son coped with sharing a room this time.

We found the restaurant way too loud and noisy which made us eat and leave quickly on our first night. The power outage did not help especially when the menu was reduced to either fish n chips or a burger option. We did not use the restaurant for the other 2 nights.

Property is nice and clean, bed and pillows comfy. Handy that your able to link into your own netflix and other streaming platforms. Continental breakfast was great value for money! Plenty of yummy options, Especially loved that your able to make your own fresh juice and make a coffee to takeaway. Very handy to bars and cafes, museums and a variety of retail shops. Handy having free parking in the secure carpark. Staff friendly and happy to help where they can.

You will hear ones on the street if you have a room on the street side.

LOVED. Lovely, happy and enthusiastic staff, i felt the love when we arrived and departed.. I love when staff members seem so proud and excited of their establishment. Room was as large and fabulous as a very expensive hotel in Perth city. Bed was lush and comfy, , lovely facilities, interesting light fittings and furnishings. The generous availability of lovely bath products was a major plus .. so handy when travelling . Very close to town. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Very generous portions, luckily we shared our dishes , so size was perfect. Thank you.

We stayed at this hotel for the long weekend in September. We had been here before when it used to be the Ibis Styles. Other than the name change the hotel has not changed at all. It is in a great location close to Hannan St but far enough away from the noise. We had been upgraded to a Superior Queen St High Floor and that is recommended. Luckily our balcony overlooked the town (the front of the hotel) and it was great to catch the views and the sunsets. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was plentiful. On the second morning though the staff were overwhelmed because tourists on a bus tour all came to breakfast at the same time. Nevertheless we only caught the tail end of that and the staff were quick to clean a table for us and to restock food items. Reception staff were great also. The hotel was clean and welcoming and the room comfy. All we needed for a great short term stay.

Only one glass in the room - had to ask for a second (Room 412) Limited coffee pods (just 2) and milk - but we asked for more and got more. The credit card surcharge was 1.5% and not 1.3% as stated on this site! The sofa had a big stain on it (Room 412) The bathroom extractor fan wasn't working (Room 412) The air conditioner from the next room was very loud (located on the outside of each room on the balcony)

Cleanliness, location, friendly and helpful staff

I needed to request face washers as they were missing. On my previous visit, only one face washer was left when there were two of us in the room. Breakfast was a little lacking, eg the new machine to make hot chocolate was missing, and some previously non-hot staples were missing. But that may be due to the large contingent of a tourist group that was booked in at the time

Restaurant very good and they allowed us to share an entree and a main bringing us extra plates.

Not enough room for parking as a Ute and trailer took up 5 car spaces and a car and caravan took up 4 car places. Guests need to be told there is only 1 car parking place per room. Cup in room was very tea stained. Luckily I had some salt with me so was able to sprinkle stain with salt and scrub with a wet tissue. Rinse out and nice clean cup.

Everything was great and easy to navigate around the hotel

Room not cleaned each day but we had the option of asking for clean towels and we only had one breakfast there as the chef never listened to what I asked for two fried eggs over easy I got two eggs that would have made a great rubber ball again I was told they would redo them but I time all my things down to the last minute and having to wait for them to be done how I ordered,them would have thrown my day out
