Very nice big room with 2 French balconies looking in inner courtyard.Nice clean hotel,smells like new.Hotel where meet the past with the modern.Very nice,friendly staff,reception.Good location near to the center,to the Traunsee, Grünberg cable car....

Shower in the room this system was really stupid,first come cold water you have to wait till come hot water.To change from small to big shower head is complicated.When you want quick shower you need time to figure it out how it's working.Breakfast was expensive 24€/person and not a variety what we used to for 4*hotels in Austria,bad coffee,missing warm breakfast.I'ts only a snacks not a breakfast buffet.

The hotel is amazing! Everything is beautifully done. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were a party of 14, people with 4 generations. The smallest member 4 months and Opa, whose 70 birthday we were celebrating. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant and also enjoyed a lovely breakfast there. They thought about everything and even called me to ask if I needed a cot for my three year old son. Dani was especially helpful and offered to make reservations at a restaurant with a lake view for our second night. I can only recommend the amazing hotel! Thanks for making our family celebration so special!

This hotel is really stunning. It’s so modern and chic with beautiful fixtures and finishes. The room we were in was large with a good sized walk out terrace. The shower and tub in the room were great, it was liking being at a spa! The staff was always working to keep the facilities in pristine condition. The location was just perfect. Centrally located. Only a few minutes walk from anywhere you’d want to be. We would definitely recommend. Especially in the cooler months.

The only things that travelers should know is that the hotel does not have AC. Many people are used to this and don’t find it to be an issue. Also seems like most of the hotels in Gmunden do not have AC (like many European destinations). So if you are traveling during the warmer months, just be prepared, plan for plenty of cold dips in the beautiful lake to offset the heat. We were lucky to get some cooler weather in the evening and thunderstorms which helped to cool the room down. I’m sure this is not a year round issue. We just happened to come during a period when the temperature was in the high 80s. Otherwise, this is an excellent hotel experience. I would definitely come back and recommend for others!

This is a lovely hotel in a lovely location, a block from the lovely bridge over the Traun River and a few blocks from the beautiful town square. This hotel offers the chance to stay at an almost 500-year-old Gasthaus that has just been renovated to very contemporary standards and re-opened as a modern, cozy hotel. Everything inside is very modern and clean without being too sleek. The staff is extremely helpful. Christian and Danielle gave us a lot of great advice and went above-and-beyond with several favors and errands. We would love to come back to Gmunden and would send all our friends and families to this hotel. If you are in Gmunden, be sure to take the very pleasant walk along the west bank of the Traun River: just cross the bridge from the hotel and turn right/north and walk north along the river.

Friendly staff, open to accommodate our needs and requests. Optimal location to visit Gmunden and Traunsee. Very comfortable and great dinner in the patio.

the quality of the furniture and the cleanliness of the room was outstanding. the pink sofa bed was excellent!

the way how the invoice was issued was awful. I requested a certain way of issuing the invoice and it took ages and was incorrect, even though I requested it up front in a certain way in writing. should be improved, because the hotel deserves almost top score

It was a joy to stay where the staff felt genuine friendly, welcoming and helpful. It has only been open for four weeks but their enthusiasm was infectious. The hotel is centrally located and very quiet, the beds comfortable and the rooms clean, light and airy. The food is great too. We didn’t have a problem parking - there is also another car park a short distance away but room to unload and check-in if you arrive late.

Breakfast is either buffet or ‘a la carte’ depending on how many guests are staying so this can cause some confusion. We stayed two nights and had both which were great but we preferred the flexibility of the buffet option. They do not currently do inclusive packages.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The team was very kind and accommodating. The hotel has been renovated recently and is more modern than most big hotels, yet maintains its small town feel and culture. The room was extremely comfortable and furnished to smallest details. We had a great experience and would recommend it to everyone who is visiting Gmunden.

Amazing loft apartment, beautifully designed. Gorgeous sauna and a gym located on the top floor. Lovely local and eco friendly soaps and lotions. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The best breakfast with fresh fruit and delicious pastry. Located nearby the centre and a lovely art gallery. Beautiful paintings and antique decorations and contemporary design as well.

Everything was absolutely perfect.

At the inner garden was a fountain which was constantly operating, and was bothering when tried to sleep with open windows.
