Great location by the river and between high hills. Very quiet. The place is mainly aimed at cyclists and campers, and equipped with everything they might need. It is a gasthaus, so it also has guest rooms. We travelled by car, we were there - a family of five - only one night and we fit in perfectly. It is a family business and the hosts make every effort to make you feel comfortable as a guest. We got a huge attic room with plenty of beds, the bedding was fresh and clean, the room was tidy, the private bathroom was simple, but had everything you need and most importantly - clean and odourless. Breakfast was simple, tasty and plentiful, in the form of a buffet. On site you could also eat dinner, drink beer etc. Dishes from the menu to choose from, everything was freshly cooked. We even got wasp swatters when we sat down and ordered food (wasp season was in full swing) - show me another place where you can eat and have something to swat away insects. We felt really good in this place.

I only have good memories from this place.

The location is great. We had a room with view over the Danube (room 3). It looks a littke old fashioned in colour scheme but everything is super ckean and looked after with care. We had a lovely dinner, which we didnot book in advance, great breakfast (buffet style, European) staff very friendly. There are provisions for kids too (high chairs, kids books and games) adult books. Bike storage shed and bike repair tools. There is also a campsite for tents, caravans and campers

We slept with the door to the balcony open and were inundated with mosquitoes.

Perfect for cyclists stopping along the Daube bike trail. They have a garage for the bikes and tools available for use. The rooms are simple and comfortable and the breakfast was not fancy but still very nice. Dinner looking out over the river was lovely and delicious.

The area is a bit isolated so no supermarkets or other shops nearby (not a fault of the hotel, just something to note). Also, the rooms overlook the river, but with the caravan park is in the foreground. It's nothing terrible, but does detract somewhat from the overall lovely view.

Stunning location on a bend in the Danube river with gorgeous scenery all around. The hotel is basic but comfortable and also offers hostel and camping accommodation. It was just enough for a comfortable stay without frivolous luxuries. Bed was comfy and we had a room with a lovely balcony looking out on the river. Shower was good although the towels seemed old an in need of an upgrade. Hotel restaurant served delicious food and had a very good breakfast buffet the next morning.

Bath towels in the room were a bit beyond their best and need to be replaced.

Everything was great. We came on bike, good storage for bikes - with tools for eventual repairs. There was a communal drying rack to hang clothes, room was good size with everything one needs. Including air con in the room. Restaurant in the evening was nice and big breakfast buffet. Host very friendly and accommodating.

Only one minor thing: The air con in the room was a bit too noisy (older model)

Great view of the river and surrounding hills..they are right on the radweg (cycle route) so it is really convenient for cyclists. The food was excellent also. We loved the staff here as it is a friendly family run establishment.

Please refrain from using scented laundry detergent and toilet cleanser. Some people are allergic to perfume scents.

On the Passau to Vienna cycleway - next to the Danube. Comfortable rooms and nice enough breakfast. Nice hosts and my favourite feature: a lockable bike garage, which included some tools to tune your bike - nice touch indeed. Nice enough restaurant.

No AC, no room fridge. Older style TV - no wireless connectivity or apps like Netflix.

Beautiful and tranquil location right next to the river. Our room had a large balcony with pleasant views. Wonderful setting with guest dinner served on the sunny terrace. Everyone is friendly and staff are very helpful. Plenty of space for car and also has a secure bike shed.

It is isolated - but this is the attraction to this guest house.

The staff and the owner were amazing and very friendly. The owner made our stay perfect. We were on the bike for our trip and they have place for bikes and tools to check. Breakfast and dinner were very good

Just missing some small details as the room has only beds and bathroom with no refrigerator, water boiler, shampoo,…

Great location, right on the river. Terrace is good for dinner and/or breakfast. Varied dinner menu and food was terrific and well-priced. Staff very friendly & helpful. Room spacious. Secure storage for bikes.

It was a very warm night and unfortunately there was no aircon or fan in the room.
