The hotel has a lovely big indoor and outdoor spa with great facilities perfect for summer (and, from the looks of it, winter); it’s located in a nice spot in Seefeld with great views and sun for most of the day; food with the half board is decent across breakfast, lunch and dinner; the hiking tour with Michael was excellent

not sure if the hotel had a recent change in staff but the service in the restaurant (for both breakfast and dinner) is not currently up to a 5* level. There were exceptions including Bran***, the bar team and the general restaurant management, all who were excellent, but the general service across the team was not up to standard. Orders for drinks and food got repeatedly forgotten or wrongly noted down, staff was publicly arguing witch each other (and at one point swearing) and the staff asked some pretty personal questions unprompted.

The breakfast was amazing. They had an excellent buffet available with products from local farms like meats and cheeses. There was a juice room where you could make your own fresh pressed juice. A huge bread bar with jams, butter, and a slab of honeycomb you can cut right into. Staff served eggs and other basic breakfast dishes to order along with tea and coffee. The breakfast room was bright and airy and the perfect place to start the day. The spa was also amazing. There were so many different spa areas, some nude, some not. It was a very nice balance depending on what type of spa experience you were looking for. They offered us welcome drinks with some finger snacks. Tea and cake hour in the midafternoon. We received a thank you bag with goodies upon our departure. The dinner was really excellent and they also had a delicious and intentional vegetarian menu. One of my favorite things was watching the sunset over the gorgeous snow covered mountains while relaxing in the outdoor jacuzzi. It was a truly memorable experience. Oh and dogs are welcome.

The hotel is shaped like a long narrow crescent and there are different elevators to get to different areas of the resort. So it was a bit confusing at times. But what I didn't like the most is that I didn't book a longer stay.

beautiful decor and very very clean and still “homey”. you feel like you’re “alone” so very private and excellent staff. the new junior suites are absolutely stunning - perfect for a romantic getaway :) the private spa (we booked for 4 hours) was perfect, only thing missing in my view is the possibility to shower.

honestly, i expected at a leading hotels of the world establishement that when we arrived by car (around 9pm) somebody would come out and help us with the luggage but nobody did… at least at the reception they then offered to park the car which was nice. the daily cleaning - i think that the staff should be more aware of when people are not in the room to clean it - example: we had the “do not disturb” sign out untill 11AM then went for a 2 hour walk and put the “please clean room” sign out - when we got back the room was not cleaned… a bit below expectations there to be honest.

atmosphere, staff friendliness, nice location

Noisy during 13-15hrs because of the cleaning lady Spa massage was super poor. We had 2 massages (my husband and I) and the level of quality was very poor (no finesse to work on muscles, lack of basic understanding on how to do an aromatherapy quality massage, room was quite cold, full lights on etc.

the overall ambience is very welcoming. the spa facilities are great and kept spotlessy clean, with plenty of lounge areas. the meals are good, although the bar, in paricularl the cocktail selection, is in my opinion rather ‘limited’ compared with other 5* hotels. staff are attentive, particularly Moni in the Max Restaurant, she is superb, friendly, polite and efficient. The massages and cosmetic proceedures were good.

having visited when it was still the Astoria and now that it belongs to the Sacher and Leading Hotels of the World, it is missing an element of the perosnal. it feels more corporate, especially during the booking process where it felt they wanted to up-sell and not offer the option which was specifically requested, despite asking via mail a couple of times.

Unfortunately, the quality of the kitchen is no longer as it used to be. It's still OK but of rather average quality and not outstanding any longer. The beautiful outdoor sport pool has not been repaired yet.

Everything here was delightful. Every detail was thought of and meticulously executed, and my stay was truly a delight for the senses. The room was bigger and more comfortable than I'd even expected from the pictures, and it was thoughtfully appointed and easy to stay in. (The bed was very comfortable, too, which is impressive given that I'm an American and many European beds feel like sleeping on a cardboard box.) The food was absolutely heavenly. The five-course dinner was an incredible culinary experience and, at only 45 Euro, it was a great price for such a spectacular experience. Each course was better than the last but, more importantly, they were complementary yet unique, making the experience very memorable. The included breakfast had so many options through both the buffet and the made-to-order eggs, and it came with champagne. The staff were friendly, all spoke English, and the atmosphere and decor was "alpine chic," which included a lot of different, natural textures, and elements. And the spa! The three pools (one indoor connected via a tunnel to one outdoor, plus an outdoor infinity pool and hot tub) and the many, many saunas and cold baths and relaxation areas were the stuff of dreams. I left the sauna feeling healthy and relaxed. One relaxation room--where you go after you sauna and have a cold bath--had actual heated waterbeds to lie on to just rest. Then there were all the little pleasant touches, like the beautiful (and sustainable) carafe of water in my room, the cakes in the afternoon, the welcome drink, or the thank-you gift of decadent chocolate I got on checking out. I could go on and on with the splendid details but honestly, I can't do it justice any more than the pictures can. This is a place you have to experience, and to experience it is to have really lived.

I wish I could have stayed longer! Next time I'm booking more nights. Other than that, I would not change a single thing.

• The furnitures are new, luxury, and having unique style! • The view is amazing! 🔥 • The restaurants are the best. • The staff doing very well, specially: lokas from the reception, and the restaurant manger who is serving people all the day.

• The tour wasn’t covered everything. • We asked them to charge the car while we checked in, but they didn’t. • No one is replying to us from the reception when we called them through the telephone. • the dinner closed so early (8:30p.m.) • limited breakfast menu.

Since the first moment you will notice that Sacher fam is trying hard make this place top notch. For me this is the most impressive place in Tirol these days. Ideal if you like cross country skiing but highly relatable even if you do not.

There is: a really good chef and really good piano player during the evenings, quite fantastic (inside/outside) pool, spa area, number of various saunas with breathtaking views, nice bar and very pet friendly manager. I do not have a dog but I did like it anyway. Everything is spacious, indoor parking no problem. They keep feeding you all day. Room service bordering on excellent. Staff attentive and helpful. Worth every penny.

amazing facility. indoor and outdoor has a superb charm. it’s all quite luxurious. the evening meals were of michelin star quality! hats off to the kitchen. the staff was the most charming and friendly we have met thus far in any Hotel.

room cleaning was very bad. even some 3 star hotels have cleaner rooms. the restaurant was not too clean either. dirt everywhere. what’s more is the baked goods were never fresh. that’s 0 stars.
