Our stay at Shah Palace Luxury Museum Hotel in Baku was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, everything exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the front desk staff, who were not only professional but genuinely friendly and attentive. To our delight, they upgraded us to a larger room at no extra cost after we mentioned wanting a bigger shower space. This level of attentiveness and hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. The room itself was immaculate, with every detail carefully thought out. The decor was a perfect blend of elegance and modern comfort, offering a true sense of luxury. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious, with every amenity we could have asked for. The cleanliness was impeccable, making us feel at ease and completely at home. The bathroom, particularly the upgraded shower, was stunning—spacious, spotless, and with excellent water pressure. It felt like a mini spa experience each time we used it. The visual ambiance throughout the hotel was another highlight. The interior design exuded sophistication, with warm lighting, tasteful artwork, and beautifully maintained common areas. The hotel captured the essence of Baku’s rich culture while providing a modern and luxurious atmosphere. Awesome location, walking distance from all old city tourist points. Hotel is heritage look, very good staff and they helped with all requests like charger adapter, taxi, luggage, late check-out, nearby rooms etc.. Breakfast is traditional Turkish and quite good. Nothing to complain really Hamaam inside hotel is good, though sauna was not working, the privacy and convenience was a boon.

Just like the other reviews some bathrooms have some periodical bad smell from drainage. But they have put some auto freshener dispensers. Guess nothing much can be done more. But the bathrooms are spacious, clean and well maintained.

We stayed in Presidential Palace, such a spacious and luxorious room. Great value for what you pay. The room in reality is sparkling clean, antique furniture, looks way better than photos. Its more like King and Queen suite, perfect for couples. In room private Jaccuzzi is the main highlight of the room. Perfect for relaxing after long walks exploring the city. All staff are extremely polite and helpful. Building is clean and well maintained. Elevator available. Location is right at the entrance of old city gates. Hotel is in the center point between old city and fountain square, making both accessible with few steps.

Nothing major. Some constructive comments for hotel management to look at: - Improve breakfast food quality - Light smell coming from the bathroom upon flushing the toilet. - Ensuite shower room works, but needs slight maintainence

We had a wonderful stay at Shah Palace with my husband. The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The hotel was spotless, and everything was well-maintained. Our room was quiet and very comfortable, allowing us to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was very kind and attentive. Shah Palace is an excellent choice for a family trip, offering a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. We highly recommend it and would gladly return!

The room wasn't cleaned till 5 pm. Every evening, the housekeeping would stash the used towels in garbage bags outside our room, and the housekeeping manager as well as front desk staff did not address it despite multiple requests to not do it. Very few people knew english, so communication was an issue. The room windows opened to a backside messed up area.

During my stay on 1st Dec to 3rd Dec 2024, the front desk staff were welcoming, provided their full support in expediting the check-in process, and offered late checkout on departure. They provided a complimentary extra bed for the family suite to accommodate a child. In general, I give high regard to the working individuals who try their best to satisfy the hotel guests with whatever resources made available for the hotel staff.

Our stay at Shah Place Hotel was amazing. The staff at check in Ali was very accommodative and welcoming. We were upgraded to a superior room as our originaly booked room had a smell issue. They were quickly addressed the issue by upgrading us. At the time of check out we requested for an extension and even that was agreed. Overall very happy with the stay, excellent location and would highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Initially there was an issue with drainage smell in the room but that was immediately addressed.
