A very clean and very friendly hotel centrally located in Dhaka. With extremely helpful personnel - they helped me to purchase a ticket for a launch to Barisal through internet, which I could not do due to problems with paying -they paid it from their own money with subsequnet reimbursement from my side, (thanks to Shahin and Ahsan), and very friendly personnel in the nice roof-top restaurant (Artiful). Shahin also helped me to get rickshaws in the street and gave them instructions where to go. Internet worked very well.

we had to pay about 500 BD Taka as a hidden cost which we don’t pay to any other hotel. The management should mention it in their package when booking online or over telephone. we already paid the taxes and govt fee, why there should be a hidden additional cost? we drank a 7-up from the room and they came up with a price of red-bull, I am not sure whether it was intentional or unintentional.

I stayed in this Hotel a couple of times and it was pleasant to stay there. The staff and their behaviour are up to the mark. Keep it up.....

Safe, hassle-free place to stay with your beloved one. The staff is amiable and always there to help. Complimentary breakfast is very good, I love it every time. My whole experience has been satisfying. Recommended place.

Location is perfect if you want to explore Dhaka. Very good value for money. Breakfast was good as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodated my request for a quiet room and gave me a room in a high floor.

Overall good. Was a bit hard to communicate in English with housekeeping staff specifically. I booked a single room and upon checkin they upgraded me to a double but after one night asked me to move again to the single room and it seemed like the uograde was just due to unavailability of single rooms upon checkin. Its ok cuz i originally selected the single rooms but i was not informed that the upgrade was due to unavailability upon checkin.

Comfortable bed,clean room and nice view with buffet breakfast at sky restaurant.Good selection of breakfast items.Staff are professional with smile at the sky restaurant and the Rasun restaurant.

1.When we arrived at the hotel no welcome drink and the receptionist who accommodate us is not smiling and look very much stressed and even the bellman. 2.Washroom is small. 3.Slippers provided must be disposable one.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, especially the receptionist Imroj, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The breakfast options were delicious and offered a great variety. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, conveniently located near the metro station, and right in the heart of the city, making it perfect for exploring.

The fridge in my room wasn’t working properly, and the washroom felt a bit small. These minor issues aside, it was still a great experience

We really enjoyed our stay in hotel Shuktara. It is a little hidden oasis in this crazy busy city. We were happy with everything, and mainly thanks to all the staff working hard there. Beginning with smiley security, helpful receptionists, porters, housekeepers and as we spent some time in the roof restaurant, we got known little bit the waiters there, working their best to make their customers happy. Namely manager Kawsar, waiter Ariful and Rafid, who helped us to enjoy our food without any hot spices, as we have more sensitive western mouth. The breakfast could have more varieties. They have got few but everyday they put porotha. They could have put nan or Puri instead or rotate those with poratha. Guys, Please add few more options as well.

Different items on different day. The chickpeas salad is simply world beater. Used flipflops are another downside. They have to improve on this matter. Now let's talk about the stairs which immediately needed to be repaired, it looks so tuckey when at the beginning one see some broken or damaged stairs. But altogether I would go to the hotel again because the staffs are simply superb.

Comfortable hotel on par with similar 3 star hotels in south east asia, but coming from India the level of service and cleanliness in this place is of much higher standard. Located close to Parliament building just opposite Farmgate metro station it is very central located, ideal for visiting the discrits of Banani and Gulshan as well as Old Dhaka. The bedroom and beds are very comfortable, although the street noise is never avoidable. Decent breakfast, and good restaurant on the top floor. Everyone from the staff, from front door security, to reception and maintenance was polite and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again.
