It's a huge hotel with 19 floors. My room was in the 16th floor, and I had a great view over the city, with windows on two sides. The room was sufficiently large and well-equipped, and I didn't miss anything. They serve a good and comprehensive breakfast buffet in the first floor; the only thing I missed was cold milk for the cereal. They also have a restaurant in the 2nd floor, as well as a bar, massage salon, and hairdresser. The location is fairly central and there are good restaurants nearby. They organized their own transport to meet me at and fetch me from the airport, which was very helpful.

My only minor criticism is that the breakfast buffet closes already at 10 am; keeping it open 30 to 60 minutes longer would be more tourist-friendly.

The people working there are great, helpful, smiling and they really made my trip a success ! The location is also perfect, close to the Old Dhaka, the Dhaka University and so one but not in the middle of agitated crowd, trafic and the like which is actually … Dhaka. Great place to stay.

The only thing was noise in the early evening, loud music sometimes coming from ? … I never found out. Kind of discotheque big-bang music. But it never disturb me to the point that I could not sleep. I am sure having asked, the hotel would have find ma another room.

This was my fourth stay at Hotel 71. A stay longer than two weeks. Once again I can recommend this hotel located in the heart of Dhaka. Great employees creating a unique atmosphere unmatched in other hotels. Polite, kind and helpful employees make you feel at home during your stay at Hotel 71. Great meals served in the restaurant led by Mr. Aowlad and boss Mrs. Sumi give you a taste of Bengali traditional cuisine. Roomservice employees made sure that the room was always clean and stocked up to date. /Which was quite a challenge taking care of the room of a clutter like me/. During your stay at Hotel 71 you feel taken care of and safe. Thanks to managers like Mr. Neaz Morshed Dipu, you can see that Hotel 71 is developing and constantly expanding the offer for its customers. After the covid pandemic, some good employees lost their jobs at Hotel 71. I hope that now that the world is back to normal, the owners of the hotel will give them a chance to re-employ. If I'm back to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, I will definitely stay at Hotel 71. See you soon.

Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable, clean, tasty breakfast, good location. There was a bar that served alcoholic beverages at the 8th floor.

Was told from the beginning there was a gym. When we wanted to use it, was informed it was under refurbishment. Water drained slow in shower room (Room 5001).

The response from the front desk is great. As a valuable guest they upgrade my room very fast as my booked room had an air conditioning issue. I appreciate that.

The old issue of air conditioning is annoying. They couldn't be adjusted and had a continuous noise. Deluxe couple rooms have this issue. The management could add a fan to the room to solve this problem or they should get a good maintenance for the air conditioning. Another thing is check in. We arrived at 2.30pm but had to wait quite long as the room wasn't prepared. That was disappointing too.

People were friendly. Hotel was nice! Also the location is good. All in all it was good and we were satisfied.

Food in the internal restaurant is expensive.

Location in the heart of Dhaka. Phantastic place; to check the really situation in this crazy and interesting city … No place in Dhaka can be better; to explore more origin and life in the heart of Bangladesh. I should inform you about this Hotel a little more. I will write step by step. Hotel Reception: Although it is located at 11th Floor but their stuffs were available at ground floor to welcome us and take us to reception at 11th Floor. I went along with my future wife. In Bangladesh, exactly same regulation followed as like as Europe or USA. This country followed Muslim regulation only for "Wealth Distribution" after death of Parents or Husband and rest all are same like Europe. But most of the Hotels in Bangladesh don't allow couple without "Marriage Registration Certificate" which is unlawful ! This Hotel allowed after confirmation of Age (Adult) only. This is an Exceptional privilege's made by this Hotel. Room: Room was enough spacious with seating area, Flat Screen TV, Dressing Table, Locker etc. I requested to provide me a corner room and they provided exactly what I was expected. Location: Location was good for me because it was beside the main road and Uber or any other Taxi service is available all the time. Good numbers of restaurants are available very close to this Hotel. One of the best Chinese restaurant in Bangladesh is located within 100 meters. Food: We received Fruit Basket which was a very big surprise to us. Food was Testy and standard. Alcoholic drink is prohibited for Bangladesh Citizen by regulation. So, I should not tell about this issue ! Stuff: Stuff from ground floor, reception, House keeping, restaurant - all are well behaved and very decent. Cleanliness: I found everything cleaned and extra care for COVID. Bathroom was clean with sufficient number of Towels(total 5), Toiletries, Soap etc. My comment: I will use this property in future and I will draw attention of all Travelers to check the taste of this wonderful property with very reasonable price. Thanks hotel Management for maintaining International Standard with very reasonable price.

Great value for money. Well located for visiting Old Dhaka. Clean.

Lots of noise from the road, but then Dhaka is noisy.

Excellent hotel. They gave me a free upgrade to an Executive Room. Room is small but very plush. There is free wifi. There is 24 hours hot water with a lovely rain shower. A nice international breakfast buffet is served complimentary. The location is excellent. You can get cycle-rickshaws within seconds. The staff are very nice and friendly. They also gave me a 30% discount card for the Bar on the 8th floor. There is a live band in the Bar every evening. The bar is closed on Fridays.

I can't think of anything negative about the hotel.
