I like the staff and their service, the location, cleanliness and would recommend this hotel to family and friends. :)

One or two staff has strong BO, maybe can try use deodorant. The rest are all good

Very good location just 12 minutes to walk to the central square of Gulshan. Clean and comfortsble hotel, very good breakfasts, the staff very friendly and helpfull

Only the pool on the roof was kind of dissapointment for us. We were planning some sunbathing, but there was only one bed. We asked to add one more, but nothing changed until the end of our stay. Moreover, lot of potentially harmfull hornets ( vespa tropica) was flying over the pool and this area during the day. ( maybe they had some nest in the vegetation there).

Loved the location..very near to the Gulshan area but not as expensive as the hotels in that area. The staff is very supportive and welcoming. There is a small cafeteria near the reception and the breakfast area is on the top floor. The breakfast spread is good.

They could have given more bakery and fruit items at the breakfast spread or increased the vegetarian options at the breakfast spread at the hotel. They could also add some local delicacies. The space for pots in washroom is a little off.

Breakfast is very varied and gives you a chance to sample a wide range of Bangladeshi foods. The rooftop pool is fab, although it has no shade. I can't fault the staff or the rooms.

No shade at the pool, which can be a problem. That's really all.

Food, Cleanliness, location, pool and interior

Staffs always wait for tips even if they didnt need to do anything. The TV was useless.

Mix of local and western breakfast with curries, cereals, omelettes and eggs to order . Very helpful staff and soft mattresses! Pool was great. Great location!

The infinity pool on the roof is possibly the nicest pool I've ever been in; maybe it was the heat, but the view and how refreshing it was: perfect! Breakfast had a good, exotic selection and the meals and drinks that I did try were slightly pricey for the area but nice nonetheless.

Nothing about the hotel was unlikeable.

I planned a stay at The Raintree Dhaka as a brief getaway with my wife following our wedding. Once there, we were met by friendly staff members who were quick to help us around and acquaint us with the information necessary to reach them in case we needed anything. We were also welcomed with very cool glasses of orange juice. Having navigated the city's traffic to get there, this was certainly quite welcome. The lobby is beautifully decorated. The room we stayed in was the Superior Deluxe. It was a beautiful and clean and well-stocked with toiletries and soft-drinks in the minibar. The first night we ordered room service. We have fallen in love with the Fettucine Alfredo and the Cream of Mushroom soup, and found ourselves thinking about both while we were leaving the premises following the end of our stay. Breakfast was included with the stay and the food was quite decent. The clear vegetable soup served on the first morning of our stay was rich and garlicky. But what I really liked the most were the fish cakes and stuffed half tomatoes. Aside from this, the buffet also contained breads and cereals. And you could also try the omelletes and waffles made on the spot. The second day's meal was not bad either. The Lebanese potatoes and cauliflower soup stood out on this morning. I was personally however expecting bacon. Once at The Raintree, one must try the Infinity Pool. The water is clean and the temperature is controlled. And what a view of the city indeed! Overall, we had a most excellent stay and our time at The Raintree is certainly going to constitute a core memory.
