Lovely property in the middle of Ardenes, a 13th century castle settlement, with original Chappell, set truly in midst of the Ardens nature, quiet, relaxing atmosphere, supported by the owners and especially appreciated warm family lime atmosphere harness by Irina, the owner, with with her warm and friendly and fun approach makes the stay really pleasant and memorable. No fuss, but kindness and friendliness. We stayed in the main dwelling, room accessed via an ancient historical tower staircase, with views both to the courtyard from tue bathroom and also to tue gardens with pool views over tue valley. Bedroom floods with sun in the morning, and the bathroom was equipped to good modern standard and quality. We also enjoyed a tremendous breakfast, Irina laid out a magnificent spread - buffet style, european goodies, supplemented also by dutch specialities, fresh fruit and plenty of tea choices and as much coffee as one needs ;), Irina offered to make also omelet, scrambled eggs or eggs sunny side up and man she did them so well. The property has amazing lounge, billiard room, library, and so many places to choose from outside all around tue property. We did not have a chance to try the pool, tennis court or various hot baths, due time and our short stay. We did manage to ask Irina to show us down the wine cellar, and what a cellar! Ready for tastings... the vines were truly varied, and we look forward to be able to stay again soon, when back to the area.
If there was one thing to ask for, some visitors may like to hold on to something when going up the round staircase in the tower. My wife did mention that, a railing or a cord/rope or something like that for safety. Not everyone is like me, I loved going up and down the tower.

The setting is stunning and the chateau is gorgeous - newly restored and decorated, the owner has exquisite taste. We got a little private tour of a few of the 13th century spaces still left in the chateau, including the wine cellar and the chapel. The views were great and we enjoyed sitting out on the back terrace with glasses of wine admiring the house.
We had been asked if we wanted them to "make" a BBQ for us and we said yes. Little did we realize that this meant that they would provide the food and fire and we were supposed to BBQ our own food. It was not a big deal and we managed just fine, but it was not made clear that this would be the situation and while we were perfectly fine with it, I can see some guests not liking this at all.

Beautiful scenery, at night cool lights behind the chateau. Inside is thought through, cool modern design touches, yet authentic altogether. It’s nice that some things are not renewed but left as it is. Dinner was exetionally good!
Our rooms were beautiful but functionality could be better - altough it was beautiful to see, the mirror on the dresser was way too low to use. Couldn’t find any bins in the room also. As we has to share toilet and bathroom with other guests, during morning it was difficult to use it…

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The location was fantastic, offering a great spot for relaxation. The atmosphere made us feel right at home. For my wife's birthday, I requested a cake, and the hotel's chef made an awesome, delicious, and super fresh cake. The restaurant's food was also very tasty and fresh. They truly have an excellent chef. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The pool was fantastic for cooling down on a hot day and for sitting next to on cooler evenings. The interior design of the rooms is excellent, and we particularly appreciated the attention to wonderful smells (using diffusers and candles). The grounds are beautiful and very soothing, and the strings of fairy light lamps very romantic.
Breakfast could have included better quality coffee. Apart from the excellent fine dining option, there could also have been an option for a simpler lunch/dinner at the château, particularly for guests staying for multiple days. We mentioned we were on our honeymoon when booking our room and during our stay, and would have appreciated some token of congratulations from the château.

We loved everything. Chateau de la Chapelle is a fantastic place to spend some slow-paced days, in tranquillity, surrounded by nature. The Chateau is stunning, better than what the pictures show, and the host as well as the personnel are super nice. The room, a junior suite, was spacious and bright, with a great view on the back garden.
The tennis court was not in great shape, but that’s a minor thing that did not really impact the overall experience.

The Castle (Chateau) property is amazing experince worth to be explored fully duirng the stay inclduing the common areas, the swimming pool, jacuzzi, bar etc. The breakfast was of large variety and delicious. We took the library suit which had a very nice bathroom and views over the hill. During the Huly 21st nationla holiday in belgium the 6 course dinner was amazing!
Some more amenities could be added to the room like: 1) Extra towel for the floor since waters spills outside while taking the bath, 2) Extra toileteries (we had to ask for missing soap and shower gel), 3) Window blinders (duirng summer it gets bright very early!), 4) A proper mirror above the wash basin in the bathroom. 5) A bar in the bathroom to hang wet towels.

Beautiful and tastefully renovated Chateaux run by extremely friendly and welcoming owner (your mixology Wizard) 😉Atmosphere is very relaxed and we felt at home from the moment we stepped in. Our library Suite was well appointed and very comfortable. Original plan of one evening dinner has failed miserably due to absolutely fabulous and amazing food prepared by Chef Jurgen, hands down some of the best meals we’ve ever had. Ended up dining three out of four nights. What a treat 🥂 Thank you very much Guys for having us. It was marvelous 🥂🥂🥂👏👏👏

The location is amazing, the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were very nice. Breakfast is great. We really enjoyed staying here. After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to book. It is a family that is running this chateau and I think it should be treated as such. It looks like some of the reviews here expect a five star hotel experience. However, I enjoyed this so much more as the quality of the food, rooms and facilities were amazing and the setting was more relaxed. 100% coming back to this place!
We had to shower in the bathtub and there was no place to put the shower. Not a major issue for us and it would not stop me from booking this room again.
