The staff were on duty on my arrival and were available to greet me, they were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There was both a bath with shower and separate shower room. The bed was comfortable. The hotel provided breakfast including in the cost of the room. There was a good selection and it was very tasty. The hotel has a restaurant called ‘The Melting Pot’ which has a Mexican theme, both Mexican and traditional Belgium dishes are available. It is necessary to book in advance, although they did allow my late booking on the night of arrival, which was welcome after I had just completed a long day of travelling to get there. My meal was excellent. The hotel is located in a one way street which connects with the town square. If you are driving you have to go into the square first and enter the street from that end. There is plenty of parking outside the hotel on the street and normally the hotel has its own car park for guests. Whilst I was there the car park was being renovated. This Wasn’t a problem and I found parking on the street easily enough.

There is nothing I can think of. I would be glad to stay again and book longer next time.

Central location. Friendly staff. Good accommodation set up for a Dad and his three mature sons. Good value for money.

The TV in one of our rooms was not working upon our arrival. This was known about and an unsuccessful attempt was made to get it working. No replacement was provided for a three night stay which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, drinks purchased at the bar were not permitted to be added to our accommodation account. Immediate payment was required. Again disappointing given we had paid for our accommodation in advance via Booking.com in the amount of €810. Surely we could be trusted to pay for four drinks when we checked out.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were friendly and cheerful and gave plenty of advice from local bus times to places to eat. The car park is currently undergoing refurbishment and blocked off but they allowed us to park our 2 motorbikes under the entrance portico. One of the motorbikes had broken down but the reception staff were very helpful and gave us a push down the road to get it started after we'd found someone who could fix the problem. This wasn't our first stay and won't be our last.

The property was in a great location. The staff was so helpful both when we made the reservation as we needed an extra bed in the room and when we got there. Due to a tour bus arriving around dinner time, we weren’t able to eat on site but Lucas helped us to get a reservation at a wonderful local restaurant a few blocks away (amazing food!). And, even though the parking lot was under construction, there were free parking spaces right along the street which was very convenient. The room was very clean as well.

Very well situated for the town square and nearby railway station. A modern hotel that felt and looked refurbished very recently, our room seemed brand new. It has a great war remembrance atmosphere. Breakfast was very good too, hot andcold options.

Car park and restaurant were closed which we were not made aware of by booking.com. Both had been important factors on choosing the hotel. However easy, free parking was outside and the town square was close.

Excellent location to town centre. The hotel was lovely, the reception, restaurant and bar area bright and friendly. Excellent parking to rear. At night the bar area was lively without being noisy. The breakfasts were excellent with a varied choice of both cooked and continental.

The room cleaning left a but to be desired and, other than tidying the duvet and replacing the towels, nothing more appeared to have been done. The towels were very thin and rough on the skin. We used the 2 coffees and one of the 2 milks in the room upon our arrival and had to ask for more on the evening of our following day. The 2 small bottles of water left in the fridge were also never replenished, despite the outside temperature being high.

The breakfast had a nice variety and well put together. I have food allergies and it was the first place I’d eaten on our trip that I had more than a banana.

They used a air freshener that was way to strong. We had to leave our outside window open. I had a allergic response to it. I think it’s a thing in European countries to use some sort of floral smell throughout the property. They didn’t use it as strong the second night. Thank goodness.

Easy to park in the court yard of the hotel or in the street in front of it. Place is calm. The employees are easy to access and try to find work arounds to your special needs: I needed to checkout 1 hour before the breakfast scheduled time and they prepared me a breakfast lunch bag and turned on the coffee machine for me, just awesome.

It's not something I disliked, it's more something I wasn't aware of: it's a very little town and the shop and restaurants are closing very early. Just don't do like myself, and take this into acxount should you wanted to have dinner somewhere.

Ideal location, 5 minute walk from the main square where bars and restaurants can be found. After a hard days sightseeing, it was great to relax with a beer outside on the patio area! All the staff were great, professional and friendly. A must WW2 museum to visit is the 101st Airborne Museum, which is literally a 2minute walk from the Hotel Melba.

The fact that we couldn't have stayed another couple of nights due to our other holiday commitments!

Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Quiet rooms, hall, and street. Good water pressure on the shower. Nice breakfast included, as the city is very small and I would not have many other options for breakfast early on a Sunday.

Nice breakfast, although the coffee was too soft and the capuccino was not as creamy as I like it. The pastries were good.
