The Hostel is in the heart of the city, cca 10 from train station by walk. We've order rooms with 2 separated beds, which were quite comportable. The toilets and showers are shared, but they are enough to feel like in private one, just suited next to your room. :) The personel is nice and helpful to arrange what we needed. Man can order the breakfast, which is nice and tasty. Or you can man can use the shared kitchen area for meal preparation.

Nothing.

The staffs were very friendly and could tall to them all day. The living area where I could chill and talk to other tenants. Showers worked fine and there was a locker to store important items I couldn't carry around everywhere.

One toilet was out of service during my stay of 4 days. It smelt bad in the corridor. There needs to be more sockets to everyone in the room could charge their phones as we rely on them a lot all day as modern tourists.

During my stay at Leuven City Hostel, I was thoroughly impressed by the tranquility it provided. The peaceful atmosphere, coupled with exceptionally comfortable beds, made it a perfect place for much-needed rest. The hostel's commitment to maintaining a quiet environment allowed for a truly rejuvenating experience, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful getaway.

It was quite unusual to come across a man sleeping and snoring loudly in the common room. We weren't sure if he was a guest at the hostel, but it turned out to be a humorous anecdote during our stay.

Well equipped, comfortable hostel. Was ideal for a brief, lo-fi weekend stay in Leuven.

Reception staff refused to help me access my emails so I could print my train ticket home after having my wallet and phone pickpocketed in the Grote Markt. This subsequently stranded me in London after my flight home, with no money or way of contacting anyone. Luckily I have relatives in South West London, but I had to walk for 5 hours to reach them for help to get home (a further 3-4 hr train journey). I would be concerned for anyone vulnerable, anyone who had a longer journey, or anyone without contacts within reach of their destination. The situation could have been avoided if I had been allowed 3 minutes to access my email in the hostel.

I loved this place, especially the common rooms, which were cozy and the kitchen was fully functional and very clean. The staff was super friendly.

There could have been more power outlets in the rooms and a bit more of privacy (i.e. curtains at the beds). It was sometimes a problem to figure out where to charge my phone.

Location and informal atmosphere to come and go as we pleased. Continental breakfast was excellent.

At breakfast the De Longi coffee making machine was not fit for purpose. Forever needed topping up with water, milk, etc. Went without a coffee a couple of mornings.

This is one of the nicest and cleanest hostels I have been at. I took the double room which was very cozy and full of light, it had a small basin in the room which was very useful. The common toilets and showers were exceptionally clean. Great location and staff is super nice.

In the building there was a strange, subtle smell I didn't like... maybe changing the soap or improving the ventilation could help? I don't know.

The room was nice, with enough space. The kitchen had very good infrastructure for all our needs. The breakfast was awesome. People working at the place were very nice and helpful.

The heating was regulated for the first floor, and sometimes the room got very cold at night. The experience of going to the toilet was not nice, as you had to go with the key, and made lots of noise in the process. When sharing a room, this was not good.

We arrived with the bikes and were able to safely store them in the hostel for our entire stay. In addition, it was no problem at all to subsequently adjust the room occupancy again. Even a booked breakfast we could cancel again without much effort. Overall, we have really experienced a lot of flexibility, friendliness and accommodation, so again a big thank you!

A shelf would have been handy.

The common spaces are definitely a highlight. A nice cafeteria, beautiful and spacious living-room, a beautiful and generously sized kitchen. A nice quiet and green terrace with tables.

Maybe too many beds for available room square meters in the dorms. No AC, so during a heat wave like I had in June it will get a bit too hot in the rooms.
