Very comfortable and well kept hotel. Friendly staff and excellent grounds. One of the best hotels i stayed in Salvador. highly recommend if you can afford to stay a bit away from the city center.

the Hotel is not "feet on the sand" .. we have to walk about half a kilometer to get to the beach. the beach in front is not the best in the neighborhood - .

it was a great choice, all family members liked it very much. the hotel located in a quiet area about 18 mins away from airport. it looks new, and the room was extremely clean. the daily cleaning was done perfectly as well. the room deco is simple and has a modernist touch to it. the bathroom was easy to use, the shower was very powerful which was so nice to have after a hot and tiring tourist day! the hotel had kids’ amenities as well. breakfast was decent, staff very helpful. what impressed us the most was that when we ordered room service for dinner, I asked them to bring a wine opener as well as we brought one bottle of wine ourselves. after ordering my husband reminded me that I need to ask them to bring the glasses as well as there weren’t wine glasses in the room and I forgot to ask. but when I called again to ask for wine glasses the staff said that I have already included wine glasses in your delivery since you wanted a bottle opener. the staff really put their heart into what they are doing and already thought ahead for the guests. the waiter helped us to open the wine as well when he delivered the food/glasses etc. one more great point was that I washed my kids’ clothes and hang them on the back of the chair, and when we came back in the evening the clothes were all properly put on a drying-rack, the cleaning lady just brought it in during daily service to make it easier to dry the clothes… again we didn’t ask for it! it was a pleasant surprise. the pool was very kids friendly as well. we would go back to this hotel if we go to Salvador again.

all in all it was a wonderful stay. a few small things that could have been better: we rented a car, and as hotel guests we still had to pay the parking, I think normally hotels don’t charge parking if you are staying there? it is very close to the beach, but it is not walkable (especially in Salvador’s weather).

Liked everything! First and foremost is the cleanliness.Super clean room, ckean crips sheets sparkling bathroom (with Loccitane products), sky blue swimming pool!!!Second is the sprawling property. Lots of greens, flowers, birds, turtles at the hotel lake. Hotel is short walk to the Itapua beach (made famous by the song Tarde em Itapua by Vinicius de Moares). OK breakfast spread. Not lavish but nice. Nice efficient staff. Taxi service is good. Sr. Barros took us all the way to Guarajuba and picked us up too! We liked that the hotel is farther away from the crowded city centre. Gave it a more exclusive, relaxing ambience. Really Good!!

overall, the hotel Deville is well maintained, clean and it is close to the airport. food is good. pool area and grounds are very nice.

we have stayed several times over the last few years and this time our room seemed to have been less well maintained. nothing major but door knobs were loose and some bulbs were out in light fixtures. the worst thing was the sound of the AC when it started up, it sounded like you were standing next to a jet engine. super loud!

The hotel works like clock work. Check in, check out, room service, housekeeping are all a breeze and very good quality. The breakfast and facilities like the pool, kids play areas, and the playgrounds are great and the kids enjoyed their time a lot. This is a family hotel and will make your stay comfortable at Salvador.

The location is somewhat far from main attractions but if you rent a car or have transport that should not be lan issue.

Fantastic hotel in Salvador Bahia, very clean and comfortable, grate breakfast, tasty food, excellent restaurant in the property,outdoor swimming pool and sunbath facilities, quiet place, huge park, fitness. Friendly and efficient staff! Beds are fantastic, you may choose from pillow menu. I have been in room 820 - great ocean view! Will visit again next year!

- lobby / bar is close to the playroom and kids room, so one might expect some noise. It was ok though

The pool was phenomenal. I did not know there was a kids area, that was a lovely surprise. The included breakfast was very good. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

I absolutely loved staying at this Hotel. I was staying in Brazil for a month with the intention to stay in different areas of the country but somehow I always found myself wanting to return back to this Hotel to rejuvenate and be in a peaceful environment so much so that I booked a stay 3 different times here within the span of 30 days. The breakfast is great, the rooms are very clean, and the staff is so friendly. And the WiFi is pretty fast and reliable.

Would be nice to have more options at breakfast and the restaurant for vegans.
