Outdoor space, SPA centre, polite staff.

Wifi was a little weak at times.

Uniqueness, comfort and location. Staff and service were great….except the waiting staff at the dinner restaurant.

The dinner restaurant’s service and food were not as good as before.

The resort is beautifully built, relatively isolated, surrounded by nature. The indoor pool is nice and the outdoor one is excellent, with pleasant hot water (best when it is cold or even rainy). Our room was spacious and well equipped. The breakfast and dinner buffets were relatively rich and tasty.

The fitness room had few instruments, some of them didn't function properly.

Most of all we liked how we were treated by the staff. Everyone was very friendly. Right from the start, a joyful receptionist lady welcomed us. She came with us to show us our room. The hotel manager was always around, and he even spoke to us a few times to make sure everything was okay. The food was very nice as well. There was one lovely waitress called Krasi, who always smiled and took her time to let us know about the menu. We were charmed by the people there. The facilities were great! We loved the pool area, as well as the SPA and the gym. It was all included in our price. It was green and clean everywhere in the garden. This was one of the best hotel experiences ever! If we knew how wonderful it would be, we would have booked a longer stay at Ismena. We recommend this hotel and hope to return to it one day.

The morning coffee included in the breakfast could have tasted better and had a better quality. Also, we did not really like that we had to use some plastic cups, etc. for the breakfast. It is neither a real 4-star experience nor an environment-friendly solution.

Great facilities - pools and sauna

Food is below average. We didn't end up eating there even though it was included in the price. We won't be returning again if we are made to pay for what is essentiallly below average quality, without option to opt-out

Breakfast: Was able to choose according to my current regime. Pool: The outdoor pool was wonderful. Great place to relax, even under the rain. The temparature of the water was great.

Cannot consider anything annoying. The prices for accommodation could be a little cheaper

Definetly recommend staying in Ismena, if you want to explore Devin and Rhodope mountains. Incredibly polite and helpful stuff. The complex provides many facilities like pools, thermal spa is clean and well mantained, two delicious restaurants. Recommend for relax, leasure and taste the athmosphere of Rhodope.

a bit poor breakfast for being 4*

The spa and pool facilities were excellent. The service from all members of staff was excellent. The gardens are lovely and the rooms were well appointed. Good choice of food in the restaurant.

Children were allowed to play in the spa area which meant the experience was not as tranquil as it could have been. Maybe the toaster and coffee machine could have been placed further away from the buffet table as there was conjestion at breakfast time when people were queuing for tea and toast.

very very nice and comfortable mountain resort, with wonderful spa and thermal pools, located in the green hills. room was very spacious and clean, beds were soft, we had a lovely balcony. super nice hotel highly recommend

we loved it. fridge was small and not cooling enough, almost no kitchenette cutlery

- Good size outdoor swimming with refreshing water temperature. - Excellent food and service at the restaurant. - Staff were friendly, positive and helpful (helped a lot as I was a bit injured during our stay). - Clean and comfy room. - Nice comfortable indoor pool, quite warm as well.

The breakfast is really rich, but there are no names/labels before each product. So especially in the cooked section one would have to try before knowing what it is.
