Breakfast was very good, and once upon a time it was excelent. Location is excelent. Drinks prices are quite ok. There is a sault room added to the spa facilities.

Not much control or none over children doing what they like as if ut us their private pool by stuff. For dinner not once there was any buftek, only chicken, pork and cheap fish. Salats and froot were excelent. The sweets were boring, and they are the same for several years, sugar siryp over pastry. The curtons in the rooms are very dirty as well as the carpets and this needs to be cleaned min twice a year but it is not. Otherwise everything is clean. The light at the small pool and in the coridors is very discreet like in a night club and one can as I almost did, braje a leg in the wetty dark surrounding.

The restaurant is spacious giving a personal space between tables. The garden is lovely. The restaurant staff was polite without being extra obliging. The reception desk personal was very helpful and polite.. Room was with retro style interior giving comfortable space for 2 people.

In the hallways sitting heavy smell caused of luck of good ventilation. The cleaning stuff did their best to mask the smell of standing air and the carpet with air fresheners. The ventilation in the bathroom was not good enough. The sound insulation in the bathroom was bad. You can hear without any effort what your neighbors do in their bathrooms.

Meals are far from what used to be extra quality. More and more cheaper and yesterday pieces are served (two days old croissants, old and not usable honey pie pieces, and cakes are cross, even not well baked ones were served. No more nuts, only pumpkin and sunflower seeds are served for breakfast.

Old (croassants) or bad prepeared food or cheap stuff (bad quolity honey and jams). Very solty pieces of chicken put in vegetables named arabian or so meal. Generally cheap chicken parts put together in rolat, or fish not well cleaned with bones to chock from! Never in years they served expencive meat.

The room was Ok for a single traveler. Everything was clean, including the spa. I visited the hotel for second time.

I stayed 3 days and all the time the indoor pool didn't work: they change the water. At the outdoor pool, the 2 djacusy were out of order. I liked the food for breakfast, but not the food for dinner. It was worse than the previous time I visited the hotel. In addition, the third day I had some problem with the stomach, I had diarea and fever. I cannot be sure it is due to the hotel's food, however.

The hotel offers very good service for the money value. The reception staff were kind, responding and cooperative. The SPA is good and although we were during the weekend it was not crowded. We were let to check out late without additional charge and this way we could use the SPA at last day of our stay too. We had an accident with the door been left opened for few hours after cleaning the room. I made a complaint as all our belongings and gadgets were there. Lucky us all was untouched after our return. As a compensation for the unpleasant situation the hotel offer us compliments from the SPA- any procedure upon our choice (one for me one for my husband though he refused it). I found this very kind and professional. They could just ignore the complaint but they did their best.

The SPA is very dark especially the pool area- you can’t see from one end of the pool to the other. Cleaning the room, the lady didn’t make the beds which I found strange. Just change the towels and took away the bins. Some of waiters (not all) in the main restaurant were distracted and slow although it was not busy.

The hotel is recently renovated and with suitable facilities for disabled people. The pool is a little overcrowded, yet it was clean and the atmosphere was fine. I did not visit the remaining Spa utilities and I do not have personal experience. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Staff was friendly and cooperative. The hotel is situated in a central, yet, quiet area, close to the historical sites and the famous art gallery. A visit of St. George Church dating from the 11th century is a must.

Practically nothing.

I liked the SPA, it has great pools (indoor and outdoor) and great jakuzzi. Also, Saunas were nice. I liked that the SPA is big enough, so although hotel was full it was not crowded in the SPA

The room on the top flow was with ceiling windows only, I didn't like that. Also, the dinner can be improved, as this is 5-star hotel, so I expected more choices. Everything was delicious, just it would have be nice to have more options.

We had a wonderful stay at Strimon! We booked an economy room which appeared to be quite spacious. Everything was sparkling clean and well maintained. Although you might consider the buffet small at first sight, there was diverse food for any taste, which was really well prepared and mouth-watering (kudos to the chefs). The SPA facilities were great, the hydromassage pool was our favorite. All the staff were super friendly. We'd definitely plan a return visit and recommend the place to everyone ☺️

The spa is great, but gets crowded on the weekends. Nice central location, but still quiet. Staff was polite and efficient. The food in the restaurant was tasty, but could have been more varied.

The facilities are a bit aged and could have been better maintained (gaps in the laminate flooring in the room, leaking shower head, the jets button in the jacuzzi was breaking every 25-30 minutes and required staff member intervention, etc.).

The pools with mineral wather, salt room. SPA center is very clean, the conditions there have improved constantly. The brekfast is good.

It was a period after New Year, so there was so crowdy, it seems that the capacity of the SPA center is not enought for the capacity of the hotel's rooms in the winter when outdoor pool is closed. The dinner was not good. Kystendil in winter is very polluted, so you can not open the door for fresh air because of the pollutuon.
