The location was great! Perfect for walking to the center or to old town Plovdiv. The rooms were very nice and clean.

When we checked out the staff never told us that we would be charged for parking if we left the lot after 12pm. The staff at the garage didn’t speak any English and motioned us to just drive out, the front desk didn’t make it right and charged us for 3 hours of parking after having stayed in the hotel 2 nights prior.

First of all the stuff! I have very nice experience with the stuff, always friendly and happy, they don't look tired and exhausted. I also love the location, top location, 5 min walk from the city center of Plovdiv, great. Underground parking is a must in a big and busy city. Rooms are nice, spacious. Spa is also good. Price- quality excellent!

I don't like the lift, the card readers doesn't work properly and once i ask the bald security guy for help and he said with an angry voice "you put your card next to your phone and card doesn't work now" But my card was so many days in my bag with my phone and i didn't had problems. Where am i supposed to put my key card, i do not were pants with pockets, so i put the card in my bag, it should work, i can't put the card in my bra right? How is possible all my bank cards to work next to my phone but key card from hotel to get damaged, that means that this is useless system.

The Grand Hotel Plovdiv has a great location which is just a little removed from the city center. This actually means that it's a quieter location but still easy to reach in a ten minute walk over the covered bridge. The facilities are excellent. One has plenty of space and never feels too busy, even when there are many people in the hotel.

The hotel has made improvements in access to the swimming pool and spa. Still, somewhere guests need to be told in advance of the particular requirements of the pool (swimming cap and such).

Neat Clean, All White, Great Hospitality. We loved that hotel and the way they treat their guests. The hotel is small, easily accessible. It is on the best location. Everything that counts is on walking distance. The hotel is designed very carefully with All white. We loved that. It feels calm and soothing. The manager and staff were very welcoming and they treated us like family guests. They have free tea, coffee, detox water, lemonade whole the day and night. They serve buffet breakfast with the same welcoming behavior. Rooms are good. We recommend installing more cupboards or storage space in the rooms; it will add great worth to their fantastic hotel

Staff are very helpful . Recived a nice welcome. Room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel sent cake for my friends birthday which was lovely. Breakfast is a magnificent feast! So much to choose from and quality products . Parking right outside in car park. The pool and spa are very good.

The room was too hot and no way of controlling the heating. The shower is in the bath, it's quite high and wide to climb in with no grab rails. Very easy to slip . No drawers to put clothes in. Had a wardrobe and shelves though.

Location of hotel is very good. A very big complex with good opportunities. Having Happy Restauranta just under hotel is a big plus, and restaurant is doing great job. Casino is very clean, and the staffs in casino are wonderful people. Hotel is clean and spacious. Private closed park is a great plus. Next time we will consider staying here again. We re generally satisfied.

Our room has a bas smell inside, i think because of carpets inside. This was the worst part of our stay. We didnt make it problem as we stayed 1 night. But it is disturbing. Also bathroom is quite old, and the shower gives high pressure water, so the bathroom gets wet easily. The drainage system inside closet is not good either.

Location, breakfast n parking.

On arrival was told we had n upgraded room, with extras, I was delighted. When getting to room, was exactly the same type of room, we encountered two years previously. I think reception staff do this ploy often, makes you think your been treated well, when in reality, your most certainly not. Wish staff would just be honest, instead of trying PR tactics. Quality of shampoos n body gels very poor, fortunately we had taken our own, for the price of room, feel that needs to be addressed.

Great service. Sarkis was great, I had an issue that the gym wasn’t open. Got up graded, free entrance to spar and he took the time to show me where local gym is. 2 minute walk across the undercover bridge at a cost of €5 per time. Perfect 🤩 Breakfast also superb and can well recommend Happy restaurant on site of hotel. Food and service were exquisite.

Only thing missing was nice comfy seats in Lounge area. I like to people watch take a beer etc to get out of room but still be in hotel. For the rest it was perfect

The professionalism and friendliness of the staff are remarkable, with a level of service reflecting traditional high-quality hospitality. The rooms are spacious and in excellent condition, with extremely comfortable beds. The amenities are fully appropriate for a 4-star hotel. The internet is excellent and contributes to a hassle-free stay. Although not located in the historic center, it is a short walk to various interesting points.

The hotel’s decor is somewhat outdated, but this does not significantly affect the overall quality of the stay.

Everything. They gave us an upgrade in the room we had rented and free access to the swimming pool and the spa for the three of us. The hotel staff were really helpful with a little problem we had with our rental car. Great location to walk everywhere and great view from the window. Private free parking underground. Little presents for our daughter and some sweets at our arrival and more sweets when we arrived back to our room in the evening. Great breakfast (except for the coffee and the juices)

The swimming pool and the spa are part of a public sports center, so it gets really busy with swimming lessons for children and adults,, people training and a few men who get into the sauna and the small jacuzzi and spend hours talking business, so nobody else can use it
