This is a relaxing and beautiful location with wonderful, attentive staff. There are two well-kept swimming pools and beautiful grounds. The restaurant has a varied and reasonably priced selection. On checkout, I had forgotten a couple of useful items, and had given them up as lost. The day after check-out I was contacted by the hotel asking how they could return those items to me. The hotel arranged return to my location in Phnom Penh. Extraordinary customer service, above and beyond!

There is really nothing not to like here. There are a few basic maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but none of those affected our stay.

I had a wonderful experience at the villa. It was a beautiful, quiet, clean, and cozy place. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The villa is situated beside a river and is set back from the main road, making it a peaceful retreat that is surrounded by a beautiful garden and riverfront. The property is very spacious, so even when there are other guests around, you can still easily enjoy the quiet and privacy that the place offers. Overall, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

Great location with great view on the mountain. Everything is set for a nice and relaxing stay. We specifically loved the site with green space near the river. The view from the house near the river is amazing , with a nice terrace to enjoy the view. The villa is close enough from the city center to enjoy night time there, going by tuktuk. The staff is nice and always ready to help. The owner provides kitesurf lessons and can organise other activities upon request. We highly recommend this place, so relaxing and beautiful .

I only scheduled three nights at this location and wish I made time for more. It's worth paying to upgrade your room to one with a river view. It was a lovely view to wake up to each morning, and we enjoyed eating our breakfast by the water. The hotel helped with scooter rental, and made sure to chain them up at night for safety. The swimming pool was a wonderful feature, and a great way to cool off each evening before bed. I would absolutely return to this location.

The shower's water pressure was variable.

Lovely hotel with a small but very nice bar area floating on the river front. Perfect for sunsets. large grounds, which felt well cared for. nice restaurant and staff super friendly and helpful. we had one of the best rooms over looking the river - totally worth it - huge covered deck with sofa and chairs - amazing views. Bed very comfortable. AC perfect. Make sure you do the cathedral green kayaking

location was a little out of town - only $3ride. but if you like quiet then perfect.

Great location right on the riverfront, plenty of green areas around, two clean swimming pools, onside restaurant serving both Khmer and wester dishes, clean room with spacious bathroom, had everything we needed for our stay.

Communication ahead of our arrival could be better. One member of our party tried to contact the property but only received an automated message and no follow up.

The property is a beautiful oasis just out of Kampot town. Lovely grounds, two pools and heaps of space for the kids to run around. A lovely dock at the back, right on Kampot river which was nice to swim in also. The staff, service and the food was excellent.

The view and location was amazing.

Location was great but a third party was very rude to use. We booked a river boat cruise for $20 per person and when it was time to go a man named Bart showed up with a boat we did not feel comfortable getting on. The only way to get into the boat was by getting into the river, no life jackets or safety instructions were provided so we decided not to go. When Bart returned he decided to interrupt our time by telling us we did something wrong by not going this ‘cruise’ and that we owe him a drink. Very hostile man.

Loved Vedici and stayed an extra week. Location by the river is just as pictured, the views of sunsets over flowering trees from the balconies delightful. The was pool was clean with plenty of daybeds. Meals menu is enough to get on with and it's only a 5 minute scooter/tuktuk ride to Kampot town for a wider variety. Staff arranged a scooter within minutes of me asking, and were generally friendly. Room was great, with dark wood, good aircon and plenty of light from windows on two sides, all shuttered to allow for sleep in. Some people have commented on the riverside seating area being dilapidated- seems it's been fixed as it was a fine place to go for a walk and sit in the pavilions. I didn't swim or kayak in the river but there is easy access as well as boat rides by arrangement.

We loved our stay at Villa Verdici, it felt like a bit of an oasis. We really liked how quiet it was when we stayed, we had an amazing time in the pool and sitting on the balcony enjoying great views and watching sunsets by the river. The staff is very chilled and the room was made up every day. The location is a bit out of Kampot which was good for us and with own transport not a problem. It is very easy to not even want to leave the place at all.

Parts of the room and some parts of the resort could do with some upgrades.
