The room we were given the beds were not made. The young man on the front desk came I helped him make up the beds. Then we discovered the room was flooded. No one had advised him that the room wasn’t vacant or that tgere were issues with flooding He was very professional and helped get us re settled in another room Tge manager tge next morning was rude acted like we shouldn’t be making a complaint .

See above!!! Manager disrespectful wouldn’t even listen to positive comments regarding the young gentleman on duty tge night before.

Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Room was good for a restful night. We didn't visit the pool, but it looked nice

The room was a great size and the room facilities were good. The bed was comfortable. Being on the ground floor we had an internal hallway door and external door to the carpark, which was very handy. The shopping was all so close and varied. It was only about 15 minutes to the city.

They didn't have a kettle in the room, just a coffee maker and you couldn't get hot water through the day. We just bought a Pyrex for the microwave for the decaf coffee we drink.

The staff at the front desk were great, solved all the incoming issues. Breakfast is good.

You can hear everything that's going on in the hallway, it gets really bad. Even if people talk quietly, you'd still wake up from it. No instructions for the waffle machine, but it's not too hard - you get it after someone uses it. The room service wasn't provided after 9 am.

The location is off McLeod Trail, one of the busiest streets in Calgary. I didn't hear much street noise, except for police and ambulances during the night. For a two star rated hotel I got more than I expected. The room was immaculate--very clean. There was a functioning fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom had a full bath and shower, lots of towels, and shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There were two comfortable armchairs and a small table, a bureau with drawers, and a desk. Breakfast included hard-boiled eggs, make-it-yourself waffles, toast, bagels, cream-cheese, jam, peanut butter, yogourt, cereals, apples, oranges, bananas, coffee and tea.

The desk didn't have a convenient plug outlet for a laptop, there was no good lighting there, and the air-conditioner/heater blew directly towards it. I found it easier to use my laptop at the small table with the armchairs. When the air-conditioner/heater turned on it could be quite loud. The breakfast provided was good, but the hotel was full and when everyone showed up at 8:00 to 8:30 am there was not enough seating room. Plan to come down earlier. I didn't use the swimming pool, but looking out the window it looked as if the base of the swimming pool was peeling and needed painting. The outside of the building does not look as if the inside would be very nice.

Staff was welcoming, friendly and pleasant. The facility and our room was very, very clean. Our room came with microwave and bar fridge. The mattress was very comfortable.

The pillows were very lumpy. There was a strong smell of marijuana during the evening and into the night. The room was very hot, even though thermostat was off.

Great location, lots of dining options to choose from. The staff very friendly and attentive. The beds were comfortable and loved the pressure of the shower. I would definitely stay again.

At the door going outside, should have a mat there as with the melting snow it made a mess on the floor.

I can't remember the name of the lady who was covering the desk for the night shift, but she was so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good for the price.

The single use cutlery/plates for breakfast, not very eco friendly

cleanliness, they left us wine for our anniversary, and the room was comfy!

the TV had terrible channels and was very old, the wifi was slow, and the breakfast only went till 9am, wish it was 10 or 11!

Good value for the price. Convenient with outdoor access door to the parking lot. Building and room appearance better than I expected
