Loved this resort! Definitely had a bit of a Mexico resort vibe with great pool facilities, right on the beach, amazing rooms and staff were very friendly! Pool side service for drinks etc, and how you could easily go between the beach and the pool was awesome. My little one (1 year old) loved the grassy area and playing on the beach. For a family, this was the best place ever!

Nothing really. Its a bit far out of town (about 1 hour walk so you've got to drive or bike), but for us, we actually liked the privacy of the area and the different area of town that we could walk around and discover. Nice park right by the resort for our little guy to play on as well.

The restaurant…it was expensive, and that would have been fine if the food was good. I would have sent A dinner back, but the waitress didn’t come back to the table, so we ate it, completely overcooked, it was the salmon dish, vegetables were soggy, I don’t understand what happened to the asparagus, we couldn’t eat it or cut it. I complained to the waitress when she finally came, she said she would bring the new food manager over, that person never showed up. They charged us full price. I don’t have an issue paying for food, but I do when it’s barely edible. It’s too bad, we heard the same complaints from Many guests during our stay…most were eating in their rooms or in town.

Room was excellent, very comfy. Kitchen was outfitted extremely well, everything was of decent quality and covered all the basics needs. TV was excellent, with a full selection of channels. Bathroom was very clean and well laid out. Location was right on the beaches, though a very short drive into town and restaurants. In-house restaurant was a bit expensive, but looked nice enough....we opted to go to the recommended Sage pub, 5 minute drive away and it was outstanding. Very reasonable prices and food was terrific!!! Would definitely stay here again.

Heating fan was a bit noisy but very effective.....even though ceiling was probably 15 feet high.

I loved the fact of having an outdoor swimming pool which also looked over the beach. And the beach access, although not very Walker friendly for disabled people.

I know that nobody cares about us smokers, but the fountain smoking area is awful with wasps. Could put a few benches in that area, to free us from the wasps. Also I know it may sound stupid, but your outside entrance flower pots are beautiful But so not organized. Should be set up in a professional position so to speak.

We liked the heated pool and hot tubs looking over the lake. The staff was kind and welcoming. We also liked the free parking. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen in our suite was nice for making small meals.

The rooms were not very soundproof, and there was a lot of noise from the cleaning staff in the morning. The blinds in our room let a lot of light in, and we woke up with the sun. I wouldn't recommend eating at the restaurant, it was overpriced for the quality of the food.

Great pool, nice view, great pool and lounge service from Catherine, comfy beds. Liked the games outside.

Pleasantly surprised to see robes hanging in closet. But robes were ratty with threads everywhere so I asked for new ones. Replacement robes almost as bad so we didn’t use them. Noisy in hall and noisy neighbours but A/C helped with that. No coffee available in lounge or reception - I get up very early and would wake my wife if I made it in my room. Higher increases have coffee available.

The pool and patio looked nice. Very easy access to the beach and private beach chairs at guest use. They also had bbq's at the pool side that the guests could use at there pleasure. Parking is underground and secured with easy access to dolleys so load your belonging from your car to elevator to suites. The staff was very friendly and always asking if I need help or have questions with anything. It was a great short stay.

The Wednesday night that I arrived the restaurant was not open. It was still off season hours but that was ok I found a great bar in town that had wings and beer on special. The bed was a little hard for my liking and also the sound proofing of the rooms is not great. I could hear people in the hallway walking and talking late at night. Also room above me the person was a hard walker and I could hear there heal walking around suite in all hours of the night.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was busy, but we were able to use the pool, which was the perfect temperature for being cool outside. The only downfall to our stay was the extremely loud fan exhaust system below our room.

Atmosphere could have been better, like better music by the pool. The restaurant may be wrong for the location, we didn't see a lot of people using it. Something more family friendly, like mexican, would fit the vibe of the hotel more and make you want to order more food and drinks at the pool.
