Waterfall shower, breakfast. Location was great for access to the main street and a 6 minute walk to the grocery store.

The room had no luggage rack or hangers. It was nice to have wall hooks but these don't really do as good a job as hangers and a luggage rack. The room also had no microwave. The only Grizzly motif seemed to be the big sign out front. A stuffed grizzly would be a bad idea, but eventually a few paintings or photos in the lobby would be nice. These are minor issues and the stay was a success with things the way they are.

Great little independent hotel with lots of personality. Asian inspired art and decor in the common areas, which was a refreshing change from the bland, boring of chain hotels. The bathroom was freshly renovated, and the shower was top notch. Bed was comfy. A/C worked great. Room was clean. Restaurant food was good - menu is pretty basic.

Parking lot seemed to be partially full with bar patrons, so we had to park in the overflow area, which mean carrying our luggage rather far. Add to that no elevators and we were on the second floor, so not ideal. If you've got mobility issues, stick to the ground level.

Location. Location. Location. Right in the middle of everything. Easy to walk the town and it is a lovely little downtown with everything we could need very close by. The room was clean and comfy and the management kindly accommodated our need to change dates last minute. The bed was soooo comfy, like sleeping on a pillow. We pulled the sheets back to take a picture of the tag on the mattress so we can purchase one for ourselves.

Breakfast was mediocre, no fresh fruit or yogurt that I could find There were evidently elephants in the room above us...they kept stomping around over our heads half the night.

Loved the staff at the Grizz Hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful - front desk, cleaning and breakfast staff! Special shout out to Gwen for helping to sort out some requests I had. The rooms were clean, comfortable with great showers and comfortable beds. The windows were a bit small but mine looked out to the mountains and glaciers which was nice.

The windows were small so the room was a bit dark - but since you're mostly sleeping there, it's not a big deal.

The location is no more than 5 minutes walk to anywhere you would want to go. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The staff was very helpful when I checked in offering to move the dumpster if I could not find a place to park

For some inexplicable reason all the parking spaces were 100 percent taken both times I stayed here. I suspect that their parking enforcement is a bit slack but maybe the parking lot is just too small for their facility. I found a place on the street so problem solved.

Have stayed a few times now over the years. Always very clean and well presented, comfy bed.

Was ski season so they were busy. Unfair to blame the hotel for the actions of other guests but what it did highlight is how much noise you get from adjoining rooms. Both floors high occupancy I believe. Had noisy neighbours until 2am on one side, some muppet outside on the street creating havoc and a pearler of a 3am wake up with an alcohol induced door entry where the neighbour fell through the door and left it open long enough to set off the door alarm, then proceeded to pass wind like the brass section of the Philharmonic - all very noticeable through the thin walls. Should stress, no fault of the hotel but be prepared for noise if busy.

Good sized room and a comfy bed. The bathroom and shower were excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with our requests and having access to a microwave was appreciated

The breakfast was pretty ordinary - very sugary cereals, low quality bread and no fresh fruit. For us, the king sized bed was too big - we would have preferred a queen sized bed giving a bit more space in the room for our luggage. Some shade in the car park would be appreciated but perhaps that's a problem with winter snow.

From the outside it looks like somewhere loggers would stay during their weekend in town so I was a little wary when I arrive but wow is it nice inside. Whoever did the renovation did a great job. The location was within five minutes of several nice places to eat and drink which is the most important thing.

There is not enough parking. I arrived latish and had to park on the street which was fine but I think I got the last spot on that block. They don't have a space where you can park temporarily to check in.

I loved that instead of an A/C unit, the room had a heat pump. This meant that it was very quiet and did not disturb my sleep. The walk-in shower was wonderful. Breakfast had choices and was more than sufficient. The coffee was really good. The hotel was clean, clean, clean. Despite its plain jane appearance on the outside, the Grizz Hotel is lovely inside.

The only suggestion I have is that laminate is too noisy for a hotel. A quieter floor covering (not carpet) would probably be better for everyone.

The hotel is conveniently located at downtown Revelstoke, close to restaurants and pubs. The parking lot has easy access and plenty of space. Breakfast was better than I thought for a continental style.

If you are staying there make sure you stay in the top floor, the walls are NOT sound proof and you can hear your neighbor's fart on the apartment above you, I imagine they could probably my wife and I making love Lol.
