The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Very comfortable bed and quality bathroom fittings with large shower. Great views from upper floors
No safes in the rooms or safe storage at reception. This means you have to carry your passport and money around with you. Which isn't great in downtown Winnipeg with its reputation for petty crime. Not the hotel's fault but downtown Winnipeg, including the section of Portage Avenue that the Radisson is on, is blighted by economic problems, homelessness and drug use. During the day not a problem but I felt unsafe after 5pm when office workers go home. This impressive street which used to be the main shopping street with upmarket department stores has become a boarded up line of empty units. I don't understand how a city can let it's centre degrade so badly, especially Winnipeg which has such beautiful buildings and obvious potential.

The location is awful! Most business are closed and alot of empty store fonts. The area is super sketchy with drug heads scattered around the entire hotel and entire downtown strip. Not safe to walk alone at all. Not a place you should bring kids! Buffet was not good. Not worth the price and few options. Parking garage elevator light was off an entire night, had to advise front staff. This was super scary and unsafe considering the neighborhood the hotel is located in. Hard to find parking below level 3 or 4 most days I was there. Many vehicles don't move for days which made it hard to find a space. Lobby needs alot of work. Only 2 tiny chairs and a tiny table. Super uncomfortable for meeting anyone there. Key cards stopped working almost daily and a major inconvenience to use them to be able to get to your floor. Will NEVER stay here again Too overpriced for what this place is. Parking was $17 a day. Very unsatisfied with my stay. Staff were not too friendly except 1 lady who assisted at check in, everyone else seems like they hate their job. No Apology when I had to adress my concerns with the front staff.
Most things I didn't like. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

This hotel has 25 floors and the elevators were very quick, the view from our room was great! This hotel is well-situated downtown so we could do our activities and come back for a rest and freshen up between activities. The breakfast served is good value for money. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. In addition, it is right next to the Canada Life Center and despite the proximity, there were events on both nights we stayed here and we were not disturbed by the crowd or the noise at all.

I liked the location. Nice views. Bonus having Starbucks. Staff was very nice. There was a large line of people checking in and all I needed was a new card because it wasn’t working and the worker helped me right away and did not have to wait long at all.
No continental breakfast. No do not disturb sign to put on door. The room was dusty and needed more lighting was very very dark in the room. One last thing the toilet handle was broken in this specific room.

I like the close proximity to the Canada Life Centre. The beds were also comfortable. The staff are friendly. I did get asked if I was staying at the hotel only because I was returning at later hours, not sure if this happened to everyone who was coming in late at night.
I felt we were singled out when arriving at the hotel at late hours and asked if we were staying at the hotel, this never happened before. I felt it had to do with who we were.

The parking was easy and connected. Great location as far as downtown amenities. Great staff. Starbucks in lobby. Fantastic value in the restaurant on the 12th floor with lovely staff at the restaurant. Taxi stand out from with staff with direct line. Best value in downtown by far.
Although security is good, combined with key card swipes for rooms and cameras. This can still be a rough location if you are not careful. Lots of transient people around the building with known crime. Just be smart.

We were staying downtown to attend a presentation at a local museum. The Radisson provided a comfortable place to sleep and rest in between activities. The staff was very accommodating when a street festival was keeping us from sleeping and moved us to the other side of the building.
The flat top was not working in the Bistro 12 so a buffet was the only option which was not an option for us.

Being in the center of the city Bed was very comfortable Staff was helpful and very pleasant it was restful and quiet I enjoyed being with my family in a hotel setting
The temperature of the room was too cold. I put the heat on and turned off the fan to be comfortable. The breakfasts were a disappointment. I would have liked to have a variety of eggs and some toast. The danishes and croissants would have been better if freshened by warming them. I realize things are not back to normal due to covid and staff shortages.

Breakfast was okay, especially the buffet days. Starbucks restaurant at the entrance, equally came in handy.
Me doing my own laundry was too much. I expected to find an option where hotel do it at a fee like many other hotels. That should definitely be looked into.

the location to going to Canada Life building is great.b The price was good and the rooms were clean.
since they changed to CanadInns, the exceptional service seemed to be lacking since our last stay. For example, there was only 1 towel in the room when we arrived, there was a very long check-in and check-out wait. They seemed understaffed. we asked about getting our parking validated and the man behind the counter said to “ press the information” button going out, but we couldn’t see where he meant and ended up going out a side alley to get out of the exiting parade traffic behind us.
