Everything at this BandB was as expected or exceeded our expectations. It is an old historic home, full of character. Beds were comfy, breakfast was delicious. If you like to walk, this Inn is close to everything downtown, also very close to the foot bridge to the North Side. However, what made our stay exceptional was not any of these things but rather a person. Angie met us at the front door and was the best host. Any questions we had, she was there with a smile. When it came time for us to leave the next day, she let us keep one of our rooms for a few extra hours, so we could change our clothes for a family funeral at 2 pm. The really meant a lot to us. Thank you Angie. Tip this woman well, she makes the place!

everything was perfect, maybe self help coffee/tea in the morning would be nice. Staff are busy, this is one thing which cold be taken off their hands.

Such a lovely staff, really became a friend.. so willing to go the extra mile. She was so laid back about breakfast and check out timing, a zero stress environment. And it’s a wonderful home and located in what must be the loveliest neighbourhood in the city. A perk was the proximity to a footbridge and connecting you to the north side of town, not to mention the city’s main drag and the walking path that follow it.

It was difficult to gain access initially, with a post it note asking visits to call a number (because front door was locked and doorbell was not getting an answer). I didn’t have a local phone and I’m sure other travellers may not either, so this was a bit frustrating; I had to wait for another guest to enter or exit in order to get inside.

We loved the downtown location of this historical Bed & Breakfast with true to 1800’s artifacts throughout! This home is exceptionally spacious! Angie was our host extraordinaire; checking our preferences for softer/firmer mattress before assigning our lovely room with ensuite bathroom. A made to order hot breakfast with coffee was a great start to our day! Angie is a fantastic ambassador to Fredericton! Be sure to dine at The Pallete on Queen Street!

We loved everything! The period perfect wallpaper might need some attention after all these years.

The host was down to earth and a delight. I really enjoyed my interactions with her. The breakfast (especially the blueberry banana pancakes!) was wonderful. It was within easy walking distance to Fredericton's adorable downtown in a very safe feeling neighbourhood (as a solo woman I walked around until 9:30 on my own and felt completely comfortable).

The property itself was a bit rundown, and could use some overall maintenance (windows were very old and held open by sticks), some curb appeal with flowers etc. would have been nice.

We enjoyed the whole experience. The house was gorgeous, our room was lovely. The location was great, for downtown and walking paths. But most or all Angie, our host. She made our stay feel like we were visiting a friend, although we just met her! My wife had Angie's homemade pancakes 2 mornings in a row, that's how delicious they were. The overall experience was awesome, we wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely go back in a heart beat!!

Nothing, everything was wonderful.

Breakfast was very good! Excellent vibe in this beautiful century home…

The room on the third floor was very stuffy when we arrived, bordering on moldy. Thankfully, there was a functioning window AC unit that cooled the room quickly. Our mattress probably needs a refresh however was adequately comfortable nonetheless. (Caving in) we were able to see many other rooms that were better kept than ours?

The location was within walking distance to the beautiful downtown core. Angie, our host was delightful. She was very informative and helpful. Breakfast was super good. Lots of delicious food and plenty of it. Coffee was very good. Good value for the money!

This is a true heritage home, beautiful but a work in progress. The downstairs is lovely and the upstairs was comfortable and clean. The decor could be described as “shabby chic”. The only issue we had was that for this particular room, we had our private bathroom across the hall. We’re just not used to it but we managed just fine!

We were there to watch the Fredericton Marathon so left quite early in the morning. For that reason, we did not expect a big breakfast, however, when we popped back in mid morning, we were pleased to be offered just that. The house is beautiful and in a great location. Fredericton, itself is a really nice city!

The only odd thing (not really a problem) is that our bathroom was across the hall. I understand other rooms have an ensuite.

The warm and welcoming reception by Angie is what makes this beautiful historical inn most memorable ! Our room was charming and comfortable. The breakfast in the main room was plentiful and the pancakes were delicious. Each nook and cranny of this inn has something special, inviting contemplation. Angie's helpfulness with our suitcases was the 'crème de la crème' for us, since it let us spend the day visiting Fredericton without lugging our luggage on our last day at the inn. We are so appreciative of this wonderful gesture and can only thank Angie a thousand times for this great act of kindness.

The only terrible thing is that we could not stay longer at this inn, the full length of our stay in Fredericton. We had wanted to stay 2 extra days, but all rooms were already booked many months ahead. Some of the other guests had booked in January for their stay in August. We had booked some time in March or April and could not have 4 consecutive nights for August. But, we appreciated fully our short stay there !

Absolutely everything ❤️ This huge Victorian house is gorgeous with period finishings and antique furnishings. The House is very tastely divided up into spacious rooms from double size to Kingsize, plus it has two large family suites. Our hostess Angie is amazing, so friendly, has a great personality, and is very informative. I adore the Carriagehouse Inn and will stay here again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 💯 Recommend
