Clean room with beautiful river view. We could see the Tidal Bore from the room! Amazing to look at river at different tides! Loved it! There is also a viewing area to see the Tidal Bore! Location was perfect for attractions, shopping and restaurants! Customer service at all levels was excellent! We had a small issue with paint smell from renovated room. They immediately changed it and gave us a better room! Breakfast was good with many options!

Sometimes, front lobby had a weird smell.

The property was excellent, good size rooms very clean and a comfortable bed. The pool was very good. The breakfast was lovely, with a bonus of fresh pancakes! We were also lucky enough to be at the river at the right time to see the Bore which was pretty impressive.

The air conditioning was fierce and freezing cold! It came on randomly during the night and so was quite disruptive. We had a third floor room but when the bikers are in town it’s still pretty loud!

Good breakfast with slight variations on each day making it more interesting. Location a short distance from downtown was great. All of the staff we met were very personable and helpful.

I wish that hotels and motels would provide 2 comfortable chairs in a room vs one comfortable one and a desk chair. It would be so easy to do and make it much more comfortable for guests.

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel for our first time in Moncton at the end of our road trip to the Maritimes. Tina, the receptionist was so welcoming and friendly. She was able to give us a free room upgrade, also gave us a quick orientation to the city which was helpful. The hotel itself is on the end of Main Street beside the park and allows a nice walk along the river and Main Street itself. Our room was clean and we liked that there were additional wall mirrors, extra shelving in the washroom and a heat lamp (although not used during our summer stay). Breakfast included were varied and good, no complaints, the space was very clean as well.

Only concern was the noise we could hear from the hallways; you are able to hear from your room, when guests are talking in the hallway. Despite that, I would likely stay again.

Booking cancelled my room for some strange reason, only for me to be notified upon arrival. However the Rodd staff saved the day and had a room for me. Their service is great, but Booking royally messed up in this event.

That I've been using this app for years, with the same card, and last night is the first time Booking canceled a room on me because I have the exact same name as a guest who's stayed there before. The explanation was Booking felt that some fraud could be happening and even launched an investigation. Never has this happened. I'm still insulted by all this and am reluctant to use it again.

Central location with a clean room and friendly staff. Hot breakfast options varied. Ample parking and not too noisy. Was in town for a conference so met our needs well. Not too busy.

No problems. Room layout could have left more room between the bed and bathroom door. The bathroom also lacked an extraction fan but there was a window near by that could be opened.

The Hotel Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the racial and cultural diversity of the staff. The room was adequate in size. We enjoyed River Front park on the Petticodiac river. Overall, our stay was very good.

We weren't aware that our room would be facing Main St. It was busy and too noisy! One of the staff members serving at breakfast seemed quite unhappy and not friendly ( no smiles). There was an unsitely mark on the inside of the bathroom door.

Switched air conditioned to heat for a sec and it spewed out a cloud of burnt smelling dust which hung around for hours Bathtub kind of old sketchy feeling Sketchy cleaning smell when coming in Breakfast pretty bad ex muffins have additives

Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfy. Shower was hot with good water pressure.

This is absolutely no fault of the hotel, but it's located on a very busy street. Drunk people yelling until around 2am or so and lots of traffic. Next time I will book a room with the waterfront view...away from the busy street.

Breakfast was okay but not what I would consider Rodd’s standard. The location was great and staff were excellent and went well above and beyond my expectations!

The hidden pet fee. I requested pet friendly hotels so my quoted fee should have included a pet fee or it should have been made more obvious. This is a cash grab from too many so-called pet friendly accommodations and I dislike the sneakiness
