Location! location, location! What a beautiful spot located on the Annapolis Basin offering the most amazing sunrises. We sat enjoying the activities of many different birds feasting on the clams left behind as the tide rolled out… a photographer’s dream! The quaint air conditioned rooms were clean, fresh smelling, nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast baskets left each day were perfect to start our day. The kitchenette offered everything we needed for us to cook and enjoy several home cooked meals of Digby scallops (purchased from Carla’s Seafood Market). The Seawinds is ten minutes walking distance to shopping, restaurants, gift shops and the Digby fishing wharf. The super friendly staff made checkin quick and easy making us feel welcomed. ❤️😀

The Seawinds Motel and Cottages is located on the oceanfront of Digby just a couple of blocks away from several good restaurants. It's a great place to relax, unwind, and recharge. Before I left Digby I was able to do my laundry, wash my car, and use a self-serve doggie wash for my pooch, Sparky. If you are planning ahead, cabin #7 has a nice outside deck facing the ocean. The bathtub/shower could use a better tub mat.

Proximity to beautiful Harbour ocean view. Lower deck. Clean. quiet . Walking distance to town. Nice, new, clean, quality towels. Breakfast in fridge was a nice touch and appreciated! Good AC unit! Nice art on walls.

Utensils and dishes, mugs in kitchen smelled musty. Due to old cupboards. Appreciated they are original but everything inside them is musty. Room also smelled musty when entered but opening all windows helped quickly thankfully. No shampoo.

A small, cold "breakfast" was in our fridge, an unexpected surprise! However, most of it had to be ignored as it was not gluten-free and I have Celiac. The motel is right on the water, with an excellent view of Digby's harbour.

There is a sign at reception about early check-in costing $30, which I found kind of aggressive, but maybe that's just me. And the owner is bribing guests for 10/10 reviews by offering a draw with some scallops as a prize. This is unnecessary really, as there is nothing wrong with this place. But that dilutes the usefulness of reviews, so I can't give 10/10 for that dishonesty.

Rooms very very clean! Lady on the front desk (Cindy) was very pleasant. She made us feel at home and provided us a basket with items for a breakfast. Super special touch! The view was stunning and facility’s provided places to sit and a glasses it viewing deck right on the water. Would highly recommend this place and I will book one of the cottages on my next visit! 5 stars

Nothing it was beautiful

The property was beautiful well kept and clean! Gorgeous view of the bay!

The VIEW from the patio deck by the water is amazing! The peace & quiet of the area, the other guests & owners were very sweet. The breakfast in the room was a nice treat & if you don't want to eat there are plenty of places to eat very close-by.

The shower pressure was a little low but there was lots of hot water so not really a complaint just an observation. I think there may be feather comforters & pillows on the bed but unsure, so attention if you are allergic. The owner could answer that better than I could.

Location is right on the harbour edge. The deck enclosed by plexiglas is a wonderful bonus and invites relaxing in front of the picturesque fishing port. Walking to restaurants and shopping easy. Breakfast supplied in the fridge - a novel idea! Worked well.

Can't think of a thing! This place is basic accommodation, but all you really need as a stopping place for a night or two while sight-seeing in the area.

Really enjoyed the cleanliness and the surprise we had returning back to our room at the end of the day with fresh towels and our beds madr the breakfast was also good!

The soap! The bar was okay for handwashing but would have preferred liquid soap for showers the tv was also a little hard to figure out/maybe a bigger size as well

Right on the water with a magnificent view from their enclosed patio. Restaurants all in walking distance. Watched the tide go out in the evening and watched the sun rise over the bay. Would have stayed a few more nights if we were not on a schedule.
