We had an amazing experience at this B&B located right by the Bay of Fundy. The view was absolutely phenomenal! Warren, our host, was incredibly friendly and provided us with all the information we needed about the area and great tips for outings. The breakfast was generous and delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We even had the luck to spot a bald eagle perched in a tree right in front of the house! We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms were large, the views right from the porch were wonderful. Breakfast was basic, but very good. Owner Warren was very helpful with suggestions of lots of places to see birds and views of the tidal change. It was very quiet during our 2 day stay.

The lodging is located a bit far from dining options. Plan to eat your evening meal prior to arrival, unless you want basic fare at the only eatery in Maitland, a diner.

The inn is right next to the Bay of Fundy. You can sit in the front yard and watch the Tidal Bore. The innkeeper is very knowledgeable to the area and offers suggestions of things to do and places to see. It was like having a history and cultural lesson of Canada to listen to him. Two bald eagles next in a large chestnut tree in the front yard. It was amazing to see abs listen to them.

The rooms are upstairs and not air conditioned. It was unusually warm and humid during our stay so it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping.

Room was perfectly maintained and laid out. There was nothing we else we needed as room had a refrigerator and comfortable chairs with a fireplace. Hostpitality was excellent. Restaurant and General Store a short walk. Quiet location with amazing views that included a fascinating several times a day tidal bore. Our best B&B in NS and would love to visit again.

Maitland was a hidden gem. Slightly away from the busy Truro, within a short distance from Burntcoat, with its own history of shipbuilding, up close to the tidal bore and magnificent viewing of the tide extremes, a up close view of eagles and not too far from Halifax.

The breakfast was delicious at Cresthaven but there is only one limited place to eat out close by. Otherwise you have to go to Truro. But knowing that we just planned ahead to enjoy this special place.

A quiet but very friendly place to stay! We enjoyed the hosts as well as the other guests we were staying with. We truly enjoyed feeling free to sit on the front porch, watch the water and the eagles! Our breakfast was served in the dining room- was tasty, fresh, and prepared extremely well by our host.

Can’t think of a thing!

The house and facilities were first rate. Our hosts were fantastic and gave freely of their time talking about the area and the tidal bore. They are ideally placed for this!! The room was exquisite, and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, well cooked and delicious. An absolute gem!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Beautiful old home on the beach with amazing views of sandy brown sea tides. We got acquainted with a resident bald eagle. The room is spacious and so is the bathroom. The b&b is cosy, homely, warm and welcoming. The breakfast is great, around a family table, together with other guests, which is lovely.

Nothing.

Stunning location on a bluff at the mouth of the Shubencadie River on Cobequid Bay. The bed and breakfast is small with just three rooms located. Plan to spend some time hanging out by the wood fire in the very comfortable common room or outside on the porch overlooking the bay. A pair of eagles hangs out in trees on the property and we saw lots of other birds and wildlife including a fox on the beach below. Our host Warren was very helpful with tips on things to see plus he cooks a delicious gourmet breakfast in the morning. Great coffee and the best wifi of anywhere on our 10 day trip.

We liked everything about this place and hope to return someday.

Quaint small town with beautiful home on water. Saw bald eagle as we arrived. Warren the host was wonderful and engaging when asked questions. Beautiful porch with Adirondack chairs, spent time watching shore birds thru binoculars. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, wonderful value.

Local food wasn't great, ate at Mudslide, a charming place walking distance away.
