I really enjoyed the breakfast, I would have appreciated a to-go container as I was off and running early in the morning for work but I made do with plates. I have always loved the beds at Slumber Inn, so comfy! Also the coffee bar was amazing for someone working 17hr days while staying therr

The walls were super thin, and the people next to us had a dog that was barking constantly - plus we could hear their conversations just like they were sitting in our room. The last night the whole hallway smelled strongly of permanent marker or spray paint.

The staff were very welcoming. Explained all of the amenities and how to get to my room. Bed was very comfy and room was a great temperature.

Just a little dated looking. I have learned to put the do not disturb sign on the door as house keeping showed up at 830am even though checkout isn’t until 11.

Easy to book with short notice, and location centralized to Kentville right off freeway. Easy access to rooms, were able to roll bicycles right to room.

While lovely, comforter was too heavy and warmth for season. Breakfast was so-so, powdered eggs? Blech. The ham was nice, so why not offer real scrambled eggs. Too much plastic and wrapping, plastic...such waste, not very green.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We managed to get a load of laundry done shortly after check-in. It was a big plus that a washer and dryer were available on site. Forgot to take my hat when checking out. Called to confirm that I had left it in the room. Back-tracked later in the afternoon to retrieve it.

Our pre-checkout room inspection could have been better. We got to Annapolis Royal on our way to Digby before I noticed that I had forgotten my Tilley hat.

|The breakfast was great and hit the spot in the morning. I would like to give "kudos" to Sagar Majari, Stella Conway and Chet for being fantastic customer service and very personable. They also listened to me even when I can talk a lot once I get going. I look forward to my visit again next year.

there was nothing I did not like

We liked pretty much everything about this place. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable and the staff is doing everything to help you. We needed a room closer to the entrance because of my husband's limited mobility, and they gave us one very close to the lobby and to the breakfast room. They also brought us a bench for him to be able to take a shower. Breakfast was great (scrambled eggs, ham, fruit, yogurt, cereals to choose from, wafers).

The Big Stop restaurant was an added bonus and was within walking distance, an excellent example of two separate businesses complimenting each other.

In common with so many well appointed hotels the room had a refrigerator. Although such appliances have their advantages the noise they emit is not beneficial to a good night’s sleep. I can’t offer an answer to the problem but I wish someone could.

The sheets and towels really were free of scents and fabric softener! Due to allergies, this was very important to us. I think the Slumber Inn should advertise its hypoallergenic facilities. The 24-hour coffee/tea machine in the lobby provided excellent coffee and tea. Breakfast included fluffy scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and plenty of bacon, in addition to the usual continental breakfast items. The room was clean, attractive and functional, incorporating all the important features with no wasted space. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The bottom sheets were flat, not fitted, and were not large enough to keep tucked in. The herbal soap and shampoo were scented. We couldn't use them, but had brought our own.

I liked the location and the staff were great.

Coffee pot was dirty. The price for the accommodation was a like extreme. I understand it is a busy weekend when we stayed but close to 350$ for the night was a little unreasonable for accommodation
