A lovely home on a beautiful property. There is seating on the porch where we sat in the evening and heard nothing but the gentle water flowing from the nearby fountain. So peaceful! Our room had a king bed which was extremely comfortable. The location was clean and nicely decorated. There is a pool, but we didn't have a chance to use it. Towels are provided. Breakfast was more than adequate- cereal, baked goods, fruit and yogourt, and a hot breakfast as well. You can have breakfast on the glassed in porch overlooking the pool and property. What really makes this a wonderful place to stay is the hosts. One would never know that they have only been the owners for a few months! Such a pleasant couple who really took the time to speak with their guests. They instantly make you feel comfortable. Such personable people. I honestly would think they have been doing this for years!

There was nothing. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was provided.

The proprietors were at the location promptly at 3 pm check-in. After a slight glitch in locating our reservation, the Owner Gave us a tour of the facilities & asked that we make ourselves at home using main living area which included kichen facilites, A glassed in gazebo & outdoor patio. Also a spacious pool which we did not make use of during our one night stay. Our room with King bed overlooked back yard with sunflowers swaying in the breeze. It was immaculate and decorated with artwork From our Canadian North which was unique & beautiful. Breakfast served between 8 & 9:30 am was delicious with eggs etc cooked To order by Jodie. She was very polite, friendly & knowledgeable about the area. We would certainly stay here again if the Opportunity arises.

Can not say anything negative about the property.

There are multiple places to sit and relax or have your meals (front porch, back deck, covered glass conservatory). Room was spacious. Beds are comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious. Swimming pool was a wonderful place to have a float after exploring town & surrounding areas and particularly during the extreme heat we had in mid July. The proximity to Minas Beach to watch the Bay of Fundy tides and local restaurants,/attractions/golf was excellent.

Internet connectivity and speed could be slow depending on time of day/number of users but owner was able to reboot system and we were able to conduct a 40 minute work related video based meeting without interruption on sprawling front porch looking out at the surrounding forest.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS FIRST CLASS. The room is more than well equipped and the common areas for quests will exceed your expectations. The entire place is spotless. Heated pool is a bonus. Wonderful glassed sunroom for breakfast or tea. Location is in a perfect village location and the town actually had some restaurant choices (which we found not to be the case everywhere in Nova Scotia). TV was large with choices for channels.

There is nothing not to like about this place.

The staff were absolutely lovely & very welcoming as well. The location was perfect and our room was well kept and they left us everything we could need! The property was beautiful, they had a pool (closed because of the season), as well as a beautiful garden, sun room to eat breakfast, a bench swing and a dry sauna all of which were very much appreciated. The stay overall was quite good, just not perfect especially for the price point.

The power went out in the middle of the night meaning we woke up freezing cold. Unfortunately after checking out we were told by a local that this outage was preplanned due to “scheduled maintenance.” Id have hoped if the hosts knew about it that they wouldve said something but they were so kind i want to give them the benefit of the doubt. The only other thing was that the beds were extremely hard and the pillows were awful which is may be us just nit-picking, but again at $165 I’d hope for more on that aspect!

Felt like walking into a friend’s home. Super friendly owner and staff. Breakfast area with coffee/tea and a fridge you could put things into. Beautiful sun room for just sitting and relaxing. Breakfast had a great choice of food options. If you need specific foods (ie: gluten free) let then know ahead of you arrival. Close to town and to the area to see the tides.

We asked for a quiet room. A family with 2 kids where upstairs running around and the man in the room beside us was snoring all night. Not a good night sleep.

A really very nice bed & breakfast in a beautiful house. The owners where very helpful with advice, and we had the possibility to use the sitting area on the veranda whenever we wanted to. Coffee & tea was always available, and the rooms where very well equipped.

Nothing that we did not like....

This a great place to stay while it is Parrsboro. The hosts were delightful, the room was very large and comfortable, and the breakfast very good, albeit repetitious (unless you’re there for only a night).

Everything was great.

Breakfast was lovely. Fresh fruit,a variety of cereals and breads. Perfectly cooked eggs and bacon, prepared only when you arrive for your breakfast. The breakfast area was lovely. We were able to walk to restaurants and the theatre.

The room was spacious and well fitted out. Breakfast room bright and sunny with lots of options and the fresh fruit was delicious.

Staff on 1st am was very quiet, not outgoing or chatty as one might expect in hospitality. 2nd morning different staff a bit more engaging. Breakfast was plentiful but mostly self serve. Tables could be a little larger.
