Location was lovely and we really enjoyed the chalet cabin. Also the amenities, giving us the ability to cook. I’d come here again. The restaurant and food were excellent and the mojito was the best I’ve had anywhere. staff were all extremely helpful and quick in response, really impressive.

Not so much the property as a couple of small things, and we realise that getting up and running again after Covid is not easy. so these are not complaints so much as things we noticed, but they didn’t mar our stay. Could not get the barbecue to light - maybe needs a new battery. Fridge opens the wrong way, so chairs have to be shifted. Bathtub could use some non-slip stickers. Light over front door is blown. Sofa bed needs attention - I think someone bent the front part of the frame, so I had to get help to open it out. Straightening the front of the frame should help. Also it REALLY needs a vacuum and clean around the inside and moving parts.

The breakfast and dinner were really good, the activities were fun, and it has a nice view of the Bras d’Or Lakes.

I didn’t like how the booking system was sort of mismanaged. The hotel called me and told me that I was supposed to check out the day I received the call, but i specifically booked to check out few day after. Luckily, they managed to fix this issue and let me stay in the same room.

Cabin was as advertised. It was quiet, mostly due to the time of year. Everything offered was available. The wifi worked, the television worked. the kitchenette was stocked with a few dishes and way to clean them. Overall sparse but, as advertised. Very clean. The cabins are exactly that, cabins. Don't expect much more. The view of Bra dor lake is amazing.

Television channels are VERY limited. Wifi is ok but, slow. Remember the resort is in the country, away from any store or restaurants within close proximity. There is a limited selection of items in the hotel, there is a restaurant in the hotel. I did not use either but, they are available. Do not use the cabin facilities if you are expecting a luxurious stay. See what the rooms in the hotel have to offer if you are looking for that kind of experience.

The view was amazing, the food in the restaurant was good, the staff was super kind and helpful, the room was big, there was a small balcony, the bathroom was large and the beds comfortable.

The pillows were on the large size so a bit of a neck cramp in the morning, the tap in the bathroom didn’t allow for all the water to come up the shower head, and as silly as this sounds the restaurant presentation of the food was so fancy that I was confused on what was what.

Stayed here as a stop over on our way to Cape Breton. The check in was easy and the staff was great. We had dinner there and the food was really good. Pool was nice. Great views of the lake. Even if you don't play golf, you should come here.

Place was much smaller then expected. Meal a little over priced and you have to pay for morning breakfast. No free coffee available. All small stuff.

Definitely much better than other reviews would suggest. It rained most of the time but most facilities open despite that. Yes the cottages are not brand new but that's the charm, they are clean and comfortable with great views. Free use of kayaks and watercraft a definite hit.

Mini golf not yet up and running, Cottage BBQ's in need of an update.

Lovely location overlooking Bras D’or Lakes Staff were very friendly

Website said outdoor pool but they had an indoor one. I didn’t bring my bathing suit as it would be too cold to swim outdoors. I could have swam indoors and had pool all to myself. Location of our room beside fire doors made it very noisy through the night as people came and went

Excellent chef for our dinners. Beautiful view from dining room. Terrific, friendly and accommodating staff. Meals conveniently available on site. Attractive grounds and gardens. Spatious, quiet, comfortable room with practical, lovely furniture and balcony. Lovely pools and views.

More signs for location of outdoor pool and mini golf location closer to entrance area.

Nice place, clean good bed.

I thought it would be closer to other places to find a place to eat beside the resturant on the property. Would have been nice if breakfast started earlier but since you had to pay for it we left early. Would have been nice to have a free coffee in the lobby.

Loved our king suite with a large balcony. Dinner was great too.

We didn’t like that the entertainment was moved from the dining room to the clubhouse. We enjoyed the entertainment while eating on many previous trips. Hoping that may change in the future.
