The location is peaceful farm setting. Parking is very accessible. The unit is always clean and charming. Being a straw house the unit is well insulated so it is cool in summer and has ceiling fan. Good air flow with lots of good roll out windows. Cricket sounds at night lovely. Kitchen works well for simple breakfast prep. Coffee for French press and tea, sugar supplied. Small fridge, toaster oven, hot plate glass top, sink, glasses, dishes, pottery mugs etc. Great bed and bedding. Breakfast area table and chairs. TV but I never use. Videos. Great walk around paths cut through field to pond with sitting areas about property. Visited this place many times and will be back. Favourite.

I loved the rustic, cozy aesthetic of the suite! Janna put her personal touch everywhere with her handmade pottery-from the bird accents, to the tiles in the shower, the backsplash in the kitchenette, the bathroom sink! I loved the earthy colors, the linen bedding and curtains. The property was quiet and peaceful. My husband enjoyed stoking the outdoor fire pit, while I talked to the happy, adorable chickens that wander freely. The room has a flat screen tv( which we didn’t use) that came with a large selection of dvds..also on the shelf, a bunch of books. Every aspect of our stay was well thought out. Janna came to greet us on our first day, and she’s a lovely host- even offered us a lentil dish she’d made if restaurants were closed due to Easter weekend- but we had plans to hit up Wellington which is a 20 min drive. We love brunches at the Good Place and we had pub grub at the Midtown Brewery.. the atmosphere at both places are wonderful.

Unique country setting, very peaceful with natural landscaping. Loved the sustainable mind of the owner: reclaimed barn board ceilings, used vintage door for the washroom, old porcelain country kitchen sink , hand stamped tiles in the shower and kitchenette, luxurious linen sheets and duvet cover. I loved how the white curtains billowed in the room when the breeze went through. Close to many wineries, beaches and amazing countryside.

The cabin is beautifully appointed with linen bedding, handmade pottery dishes, sinks and tiles and lots of thoughtful touches (slippers, tea and coffee, a magazine). The host greeted us and was very friendly and welcoming. We got to visit the chickens and walk the grounds. There are two provincial parks nearby, North Beach and Presqu'il, and we enjoyed both even though it was February.

There was really nothing we disliked. Candles would have been nice, or some sort of soft lighting over the table.

Even better than the pictures suggest. The room is spotlessly clean, really well equipped and very comfortable. We ate in both nights and the kitchenette was basic but sufficient and we really appreciated the little extras like olive oil and salt and pepper. Nice bathroom and good shower - the homemade tiles are a lovely touch. Very quiet location - you would definitely need a car.

The only downside is the lack of outdoor space. There is a swing chair shared with the other room but nowhere to eat outside of the room. But not a major issue and we sat inside at the table and chairs.

We loved the attention to detail of the big and little things that made the accommodation so very aesthetic, peaceful, and calming - everything was handmade and created with an artistic eye. We were also very impressed with the hospitality and friendliness of Janna and her family and blown away with how they lived and the intention and thought behind everything that was in the suite.

Beautiful location and such a cozy little suite!! Perfect little kitchen set up with the basics to cook a good breakfast. The bed was so very comfortable, mixed with the sounds of nature leads to a fabulous sleep!! The trail around the property was fun to walk around and just feel relaxed and at ease. But the most enjoyable was the bench swing just outside the door of the suites - a perfect place to just sit back and relax with a glass of wine. The little personal touches of hand made pottery pieces were amazing as well - just so amazing to think everything was handmade.

The only thing we missed was an opportunity to buy some pottery from Janna.

The straw bale cottage was very comfortable and accommodating. Janna's artistic touch throughout was beautiful, unique, and personal. The property was calm and peaceful. We especially enjoyed strolling to the pond to listen to the frogs chirp. The property was also well located for us to visit all of the PEC parks and wineries on our list.

Very quiet and peaceful. Hostess called before we arrived to ask us if we had and special needs and to give us check in information to make it easier. It was informal atmosphere as she encouraged us to walk around the grounds and take in what they had to offer. She greeted me with her children and animals I was very impressed.

It's our second time staying here. The place is just as nice or even better than last time (we stayed in a different suite). We hope to return during the lilac season one year.

A sponge for the dishes would be nice to have.
