Cozy!!!☺️The location was central for us, with a wedding in Quinte West and wanting to spend time in PEC next day. A list of recommended places to eat and things to do was in our room. I would have enjoyed sitting on the swing outside the suites and also exploring the pathway. Felt like we were in a Forest fantasy land. There were people in suite B but we could barely hear them. This place was built with love and care. Very unique and the talent is incredible. I always appreciate a true artisan.

Perhaps there could be a sign to mark the entrance. We missed it. It’s nestled. Also a wall mirror in the room for those of us who need makeup and have to get 2 inches from a mirror to apply it🤓 There’s a gorgeous hand made bowl sink in the bathroom but I couldn’t get close enough to the mirror. And maybe a couple of (wooden) hangers.

It is absolutely perfect here. Cosy, comfortable, perfectly sized, private and super relaxing. We loved all the ceramics and decor. Gets warm fast with the heating and heat stays. Straw bale construction did not dissapoint. Location is exactly where we wanted, positioned in order to try and see lots of the island. Recommended places to visit provided by owner along with a good selection of books and games if you stay inside. We went to, and throughly recommend, nearby Fawnover market and La Condesa Mexican restaurant. Wineries - take your pick! (We liked Lacey and Grange) Could stay here for many days.

Noise when people come and go from the adjoining suite. Not a big issue but we went to sleep early on one of our nights and could hear conversation from next door once they were inside. A draught excluder (not that its draughty) could maybe help.

The space was gorgeous, the land was gorgeous, the swing in front of the suites was very cute for breakfast and coffee, and the suites are close by to some cute shops and not too far off from wonderful wineries and wellington for food and drinks. It was a great vibe, and Janna was very communicative about check in.

The only thing that I can even say is that the suites were closer together than expected and that sound can travel. But ultimately it was not a huge deal, especially with sound machines (white noise) they provide!

We only spent one night at the owl's nest suites during our road trip, and it was a great experience. Beautiful, authentic decorations, comfortable bed, easy check-in and check-out process, all the necessary equipment provided. You find yourself in a blissfully peaceful countryside, surrounded by nature - just what I expected when I booked this place.

Everything was perfect, really. Maybe the water smelled funny, because it's pumped from the well, but the host explained it's not dangerous.

The location is peaceful farm setting. Parking is very accessible. The unit is always clean and charming. Being a straw house the unit is well insulated so it is cool in summer and has ceiling fan. Good air flow with lots of good roll out windows. Cricket sounds at night lovely. Kitchen works well for simple breakfast prep. Coffee for French press and tea, sugar supplied. Small fridge, toaster oven, hot plate glass top, sink, glasses, dishes, pottery mugs etc. Great bed and bedding. Breakfast area table and chairs. TV but I never use. Videos. Great walk around paths cut through field to pond with sitting areas about property. Visited this place many times and will be back. Favourite.

Beautiful property nestled away in a lovely part of the world. We especially loved hearing the sounds of nature and the cosy vibe of the property itself. Had the pleasure of meeting both of the dogs and the chickens as well as hanging out with the frogs at the bottom end of the garden.

Sound proofing between to the two suites wasn’t great and could hear the adjoining guests clearly so imagine they heard us watching the Dark Knight Rises pretty clearly too.

The Owl’s nest was a beautiful place to stay. The accommodations were peaceful and lovely. There was even a little kitchen area in the room with everything you need. The property is on the property of the owner but it was quiet and private.

No complaints at all about the property. It was a bit out of Wellington but really near north beach, which was great! We didn’t mind the location for this reason.

I loved the rustic, cozy aesthetic of the suite! Janna put her personal touch everywhere with her handmade pottery-from the bird accents, to the tiles in the shower, the backsplash in the kitchenette, the bathroom sink! I loved the earthy colors, the linen bedding and curtains. The property was quiet and peaceful. My husband enjoyed stoking the outdoor fire pit, while I talked to the happy, adorable chickens that wander freely. The room has a flat screen tv( which we didn’t use) that came with a large selection of dvds..also on the shelf, a bunch of books. Every aspect of our stay was well thought out. Janna came to greet us on our first day, and she’s a lovely host- even offered us a lentil dish she’d made if restaurants were closed due to Easter weekend- but we had plans to hit up Wellington which is a 20 min drive. We love brunches at the Good Place and we had pub grub at the Midtown Brewery.. the atmosphere at both places are wonderful.

Peaceful and beautiful property with a very nice attention to detail and rustic design in the units

Areas for improvement, 1) our bed sheets had a smell like they were left in the washer too long and not rewashed. 2). Sound proofing between the two rooms is basically non-existent. If you have two renters, you need to hopefully get lucky with similar bed and wake-up times.
