Excellent location, just 10 minutes from the border to Canada, 15 minutes to the Niagara falls. Across the road there is park wick you can walk by the river and get a view of the rainbow bridge, great for seeing the fireworks display at night just across the road, the receptionist advised for the best spot with not many people. Free parking, clean beds and common areas, plugs near the bed, good size room, safe area to walk at night, quiet to have a good night sleep, nice kitchen, big common area with sofa, tables and chairs, good for meeting new people, good vibes. Would stay here again.

The hostel is in an older apartment style building so the ceilings are high and the rooms are big. I was in a 6-bed dorm room but my bed was actually in an adjoining room off the main room so it had a bit more privacy. There was a bathroom in the room which was very nice. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge and lots of seating. It's a 10 minute walk to the touristy part of Niagara Falls, which I consider pretty close. I would stay here again if I were going to do some cross-border shopping and needed to stay overnight.

This place was so rich with history and has beautiful archeticture and design. Built like an old fort or castle is has huge windows and lots of space and a beautiful entrance and common areas that doesn't even need artificial lighting. It has a kitchen for cooking for those who desire to do so and there's always coffee and tea and it has a clean refrigerator for your beverages. The rooms are airy and light and linens immaculate and there is air conditioning that works so heat isn't an issue. Jeff, the manager was such a delight and was very courteous and gave great information to help you have the best trip ever. He made my daughter and I feel right at home and gave her a tour of the herb garden. This place is a must try especially if you're on a budget and prefer not to be in modern hotels.

The hostel is in a good location on the USA side of Niagara Falls. There are multiple ways to walk to the waterfalls from the hostel, including by the gorge rim trail which links almost directly to the hostel, walking down 3rd Street which has a few places to eat as well, and by the free Niagara Falls shuttle bus which picks up across the street from the hostel at the Aquarium, about 400 feet away. The hostel is very clean, has a large lobby area, is in a big building which has private rooms on the higher floors, can be accessed at any time - although the reception does close early, has large lockers in the bedrooms, additional sinks in the bedrooms, a kitchen area, and is run by a guy who can give you good tips for the area.

The beds are comfortable but can be very squeaky when you turn over. I don't think there was any luggage holding facility if you needed to check in early / late but ask the hostel to double-check this.

The owner is hospitable and so willing to share his wealth of knowledge about Niagara Falls, the area's history, offerings and attractions. Our private room on the second level was nice, clean, well lit, and comfortable. The property's location is ideal as it is within walking distance from everything (Aquarium, supermarkets, restaurants, State Park, welcome center, free shuttle bus and the Falls). We did not bring a vehicle and were able to do everything we wanted.

They have family room with 2 bunk bed n a queen size bed. Clean n nice room n shower . Comfortable bed . Communal kitchen good to simple warming n cooking of food. Walking to niagara fall abt 20min. Free parking .

The blanket provided at the bunk bed was too thin to keep warm esp during cold nites although they have heater but was located near the queen bed n too far far away from bunk bed .

Very kind and helpful owner, as long as you communicate with him in advance about e.g. your arrival time ;) Good equipped kitchen with almost everything and great location, especially if you are happy to walk some minutes along the river towards the touristic center.

It would be great to have curtains at the beds for more privacy The beds may not be the most comfortable ones for everyone, but I slept very well

I thot it would be less comfortable given the price I paid but it was very comfortable and within 15mins walk from the Niagara state park and 2mins walk from the aquarium the beds even have their seperate charging boxes for the phones. Had a lovely view from near the aquarium of the 10pm light up

I did not know I could cook so I did not come prepared and the restaurants are not so near the gorge

Jeff (host) is a great guy who is super friendly and helpful when it comes to local information. He will tell you all about attractions and things to do based on your time and budget. The place was super clean and well managed.

Nothing wrong with the place but there was a guy in my room who was snoring the whole night. So, if you are a sensitive and not easy person to sleep consider getting a private room.
