The staff were amazing and very helpful. The location was great because we were able to just walk to the GO station to take the train right into Toronto. The location was also great because it was not far to drive to a great different selection of restaurants for a nice dinner. It was nice that we could just park our our car and not have to use it much while we were there.

When using the breakfast coupons we accidentally gave both of ours on first day thinking we give them the coupons all at once then we are good for the next day. The one staff kept coming back repeatedly telling us that next time you only give 1 at time I guess. Other then that there is nothing I didn't like about our stay

Walking distance to Go station. Staff very friendly. Helen from front dest extremely helpful telling us the best way to use Go transit. Pool was clean. Breakfast was good. Simple…what you would expect. Staff in dining room area very friendly.

Breakfast was simple. They would cook eggs the way you wanted if you asked. Scrambled eggs served at the buffet. Would have like pancakes or waffles. But the buffet area was clean. Food was hot. Lots of cold options including fresh fruit.

Friendly attentive staff. Front desk and maintenance staff were all very good. Rooms were clean.

The place is in need of maintenance. General cleanliness was not good (as opposed to the rooms, which were clean). The pool area had some very dirty areas, also the floor at the front desk. Screws were loose where they should not have been (the doors to the balcony before we switched rooms and on one of the banisters by the pool). I didn't feel 100% safe for that reason. What else isn't taken care of?

We really liked the atmosphere. We would definitely return. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and having easy access to the pool was definitely a plus. The only things we didn't like were the variations in the quality of customer service and the breakfast. Upon arrival, we were met by an extremely friendly and polite employee at reception. We instantly felt welcome. On the day we left, we had the opposite experience.

On our last day, the clerk didn't bother to make the effort to understand what my partner was trying to tell him (English is not her first language) and when I talked to him he was just as unfriendly, nearly rude. All we were trying to do was check out...We had a similar experience at breakfast. The buffet was on the minimalist side, but everything was good. The service, however, was lacking. It was long before anyone came to greet us and let us in the restaurant. The pool was ok. The water seemed oily? and I saw a few things floating around (looked like foam or tissue).

Great location only 5 min walk from the Oakville Go Station. There's a McDonalds and Tim Hortons nearby so you aren't stuck to overpay for the hotel's breakfast.

value for money just wasn't there for me, for the price they are setting they should include breakfast instead of trying to charge $20 extra for it.

Nice clean property. The check in staff was friendly and efficient.

Two issues. They conduct swimming lessons in the pool which was uncomfortable when swimming. Needed to swim around them and felt like we shouldn’t be there. Also we stayed in room 525 which was right near the stairs. Problem was the door to the stairs opening and closing made a loud clucking noise. This occurred at regular intervals throughout the night (maybe security walking around?). Great to have security patrolling if that was the case however, not great for sleeping.

The breakfast was advertised as included in the room rate on booking.com. Holiday Inn gave the vouchers for the breakfast after I asked , they did not have it on record as including breakfast. It seems the information was not accurate on booking.com

Room size and layout. Bed extremely comfortable. Bathroom great, shower exceptional. Proximity to GO station fabulous.

Noisy aircon, noisy fridge, curtains too small for window so let in light, bar shut at 10pm even tho posters advertising it as open till 11pm, housekeeping knocking on door at 0830am even tho I had do not disturb sign outside. Could do with a refurb.

came back from a day in Toronto and had hoped to ear at the hotel because downtown TO was so busy and we had a 11yr old special need child with us. So we thought the quieter environment would be better But the on-site restaurant was not open Sundays. So we just ordered out for food and had it in the room.

Breakfast was great, and the location was just perfect.

The only thing we didn’t like was we were in Oakville for my Grandson’s Hockey Tournament and his team lost in the semi finals. We did not dislike anything about the Holiday Inn.
