This was the perfect getaway! The room was clean with a great view! food was good enough. Excellent choice for our 3-year-old. He never got bored - we had fun too! The indoor pool and indoor play area was a great alternative to the rather chilly weather outside. Will definitely be back at a warmer time for the outdoor pool and the lake.

The dining area was very outdated, with super old chairs, and black table cloths made the place looked even more grim, with the spectacular view that they had, I wish the interiors would be more inviting. The coffee machine in the room was around 20 years old, they need to update the machines to Nespresso. It would have been nice if we could start our morning with a fresh cup of espresso. The a/c fan was extremely loud even though it was off, so much that we had to unplug it before going to sleep. These were definitely not deal breakers for us though, as it is not supposed to be a luxury hotel anyways.

The check in process was very smooth and staff were very friendly. The resort itself has so many activities for kids and they have indoor and outdoor pool. Ample of parking although in the booking description it says no parking.

I won't say I don't like but just want to put it out there that this place can be super busy and crowded during summer so please book way in advance.

There is so much for families to do! Never a dull moment. You can even leave your kids for a few hours while the staff entertained them. They have karaoke night, kids camp, we had a horse driven carriage ride, kayaking, outdoor pool, basket ball court , tennis court. You name it they have it here.

I liked everything. Just a few things I would have liked to see is their restaurant open a little later for those of us that like a little snack while watching tv at night. And on the itinerary of activities pamphlet, they should disclose where the activities are being held. We were late for a few activity because we were unsure of where to go.

I liked everything, activates for kids, adults, swimming pool, indoor playground, food, views, the best customer service ever. very nice staff and very friendly. we really enjoyed the staying and will definitely come back again.

The food was fantastic, we add the meal plan and were glad we did. We have been coming here for 30 years and love the place.

Some of the areas areas a little outdated. Like railing on Walton House.

The beautiful renovated rooms, the staff, the small friendly family feeling, the activities, the red, yellow and blue colour scheme of the buildings and cottages, some of the meals were delicious- like the prime rib dinner and the squash ravioli.

Weeds in the lake; outdoor pool needs repair/maintenance; boathouse is very dark/dirty to run children's programs out of; kitchen is disorganized and the food overpriced. Some meals were not great, too many frozen foods and the kids' menu is too focused on wheat/cheese options. Small portions of the adult menu options would be more nutritious and delicious. It would also be nice to have quick pre-made sandwiches, salads, soups and baked goods available at the market for lunches.

This location is a comforting, refreshing break after driving on busy highways. Friendly staff and lovely, clean accommodations. The views are breathtaking! You'll find a bar fridge and microwave in your cabin if you don't feel like going up to the main lodge for meals. I highly recommend a stay here!

Nice resort for all to enjoy. Activities galore with lots to keep the kids preoccupied. For adults I recommend the mixology course to learn about and sample local cocktails. We came for a couple's getaway and enjoyed our time there. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Only challenge is the trains passing by regularly. You get used to it quickly as it reminds one of days gone by when the only way there was by train.

They have many activities for kids, pool, beach & playground are short distance from each other. The fact that the rooms have been recently renovated make the stay confortable.

The bed! it was very noisy! They need to adjust them.
