The location was perfect! It’s right in the centerof Sault Ste. Marie, walking distance to the park, wonderful shops and restaurants, easy access to other sight in the Soo. Parking right in front of door was a bonus. Breakfast was really good, alltho tempting to skip because a great place is just a few doors away, Oh Crepe & Coffee!

Really nothing you didn’t like. Some people might find it small, but it was fine for us, we didn’t spend much time in the room. Most of the reviews I read mentioned the view, not really accurate as there really isn’t much of you from the cottages. There is park across the street to provide all the view you might want, just a few steps away.

In the middle of town. Across the street from the Locks and park. Walking distance to restaurants and ice cream and fudge shops. Motel staff were friendly and made sure we had a nice stay. Treated us like family. Great WIFI and Cable TV. AC worked great, and our mattress was super comfortable and seemed new.

Not sure why the motel changed the name. Parking is tight. Not a lot of room to put our stuff while getting around in the bathroom etc...

I thought the price was a little high. The location is fantastic; that's why I like it. Lockview is a nice classic motel. I have stayed here three times. The cottages are clean and nice with convenient parking. A note to the new owners: Don't take a great name like "Lockview Motel" and change it to "Adoba Lockview Motel." Better to keep it as "Lockview Motel" and then down below put "by Adoba" or "an Adoba Property" in smaller letters.

Great location right downtown in the center of all the act. Very friendly and helpful staff. We lost r car keys and they came to the room and went through the vehicle and found them! Then pit oit bkfst agsin so we could est late before we left. Above and beyond!

Rooms not real soundproof. Had a lock-off room next to us and could hear conversations and snoring. But, not that much of a big deal.

I liked that it was close by the sue locks, and the fact it dog friendly which was awesome for our dog that was traveling with. Over all we would recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay while they were there

Only cons was the light outside made a buzzing noise and I didn’t find a way to turn it off but we turned the tv on and didn’t bother me anymore. And the shower heads are low for anyone over 5,4 but they did had good power to it

Wonderful pet friendly facility. The room was small but worked perfectly for our family and our dog. Prices were fair considering it was a holiday weekend stay. $30.00 non-refundable pet fee is normal. Continental breakfast was nice and included biscuits and gravy. Location right across from the locks was perfect.

This hotel is a little older but has been kept up to date, it does show some age. The seating in the room was a simple plastic table and chair that could be broken very easily. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in adorable cottage unit - so convenient - car right outside door! Best mattress ever - first thought it would be too soft but was great! Towels were first quality - soft, absorbent, large! Even soap bar size was better than most! They offer continental breakfast but instead go down a few doors for breakfast crepe!

Door between next door unit allowed too much noise to pass from adjoining unit.

I liked the location right across the street from the Locks . I like breakfast as they had biscuits and gravy.

This is an older place so the bathroom is a little small. But, the mattress was very good and the linens were crisp and white. You're actually paying for the location as it is probably the best location to view the boats in the locks.

Very cute, more spacious than I thought it would be. Bed was comfy, bathroom little tight, BUT best shower power and warmth than all showers in 4 years of continual travel. Thank you!! They served breakfast, but never made it. I didn't get the gentleman's name upon checking in one evening, but he was very kind and informative. Will return.

Location was great.

No toilet paper or towels in room. Had to go ask for them . No big deal. But the floor was definitely not washed and the bedspreads had stains in witch we took right off the beds.. the board on the bathroom sink fell off on my hubbies foot.and the air conditioner did not work well at all... Don't know if we just got that one bad room or what.. we were hardly ever there so it all worked out ok.. but would never stay in that room again..😐.. also the curtains were not long enough so you could see in the room .. so we stuck pillows in the window..
