Cozy home away from home would be ideal reflection of Glenview Cottages and Campground located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Elements of our recent stay (25 family members, occupied 6 cottages at Glenview) that were really beyond our expectations were the excellence in guest services, humble, friendly and extremely helpful staff and management, excellent location, just 15 minutes away from Agawa train station, shopping outlets were all in proximity, within 2 to 4 km distance from the cottage. All cottages at Glenview are designed to provide perfect family living experience at very economical prices. Any given day, we will pick Glenview cottages over any luxurious hotel. All rooms were elegantly furnished with all basic necessities,keeping comfort of the guests as the top priority. Trails inside the cottage, born fire, pool table, spa and other facilities within the vicinity just added to the lifestyle experience. I have stayed at many cottages and luxury hotels but experience during our stay at Glenview on October 13th and 14th, 2023 exceeded any of our past experiences as a family. Surrounded by green belt all around added the healthy component to the experience. We will strongly recommend stay at Glenview Cottages and it will always be our only preferred place to stay for all of our family future visits to Sault Ste. Marie.

Glenview Cottages is a great way to spend a few days or just one night, as my husband and I did on our drive to Calgary. The location is great, the cabins provide all amenities, and the park has a wonderful hiking trail - perfect for stretching your legs after a long drive, especially if you have a dog. While we were there we met people from Florida, Michigan and Southern Ontario. Most staying for a few days to fish, see the Fall colours or just passing through, and all commented positively on Glenview Cottages and the owners. We will certainly be back when we visit the Sault again!

Our only complaint is the lack of three pronged plug receptacles. We managed to find one, but most were for the older two pronged plugs. We managed, but just a heads up for those that require them.

The staff were really friendly and available, the cabins were adorable and when we pulled in late at night they all had Christmas lights on, my child loved it! The trails are easy to walk and in the summer it must be a very beautiful place to be. They also have campsites there, some by the water. We went when it wasn’t very busy and the weather couldn’t make up its mind but it was still a good stop! If I come back to the Soo I would look to book here first

We weren’t fans of the bed. It was uncomfortable for my child. She refused to sleep in it saying it was way to hard and she slept on the couch instead.

I loved having the personal cottage, for the fridge, stove to cook your own meals, quite quiet considering it is right on the hwy. The people were nice. And they even have camper sites. Quite a large property, and the trails were really nice to hike on. You could have heat if required. Open all year.

I really liked the place, but they could have had a top sheet on the bed, not just a comforter for covers. I always bring my own pillows, and a small soft blanket. And always glad I do, because these pillows were not comfy, and I used my soft blanket for my top sheet. Other than that, I would absolutely book again. Way better than hotels.

I love the location. Trails to walk my dog. Quiet area. The cottages become home within 5 minutes of arriving. The Christmas lights on the cottages is a nice touch. This is my 2nd time here and will be my go-to place whenever I'm in the area

Last time I stayed there was a shampoo dispenser in the shower. Looks like someone broke the one that was in my cabin. I'm 6'4" tall and the shower head was about 5' high lol. It's all good. I love the place!

Cute comfortable cottages. Great option as opposed to a hotel. Loved the hot tub and the location was perfect.

It was a bit dirty. I understand hospitality standards is white but if you aren't going to bleach your towels, choose a dirrent colour for towels, every single one of our towels were stained and it just makes them look dirty. You question whether they are clean or not.

Living in a cottage that was further away from the city provided more privacy and quietness to relax at the end of each day's adventure. It was spacious (more space than a standard hotel room) and included a parking spot in front. Everything worked, such as heating as it was cold overnight, water (incl. hot) was good with enough pressure. There was a full kitchen, dining table, couch outside the bedroom, with plenty of space to put down your luggage, coolers, etc. Outside, you can go for a morning walk along the trails, do a little fishing or play some of their games, such as horseshoe throwing, volleyball, basketball, swimming in the pool, etc. It was great value for what you paid for.

Although we still prefer this setting than traditional 2 to 3 star hotels, some of it is a bit dated that can simply be fixed with a fresh coat of paint. The staff just needs to pay attention to detail, such as replacing the broken knobs on the dresser or clearing out the recycling bin as it was still full of empty booze bottles.

The new owners a family business, were very accomodating and I assume they are new Canadians, and I gladly welcome them to prosper and succeed. The dad a big Sikh guy was very polite, sincere and kind who had registered us in. He took his time to make sure we were going to be comfortable in our cabin answering our queries. The family were all part of a team helping and this was refreshing to see this. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

The owners should maybe look at putting out some cigarette tubs outside all of the cabins because there were cigarette butts tossed all around the grounds.

Was nice, quiet, cabin was very clean and nice. This is our second time here to visit family in Sault Saint Marie. We will be back.

A bit of garbage on grounds around our cabin and alot of cigarette butts. People want to smoke, they need to pick up their butts. Also people with pets need to pick up their dog poop. This is the reason why places are pet free as people ruin it for others not picking up their dog poop.

Glenview was exactly as advertised. It is a clean, cute and well appointed camping and RV resort. The cabins were perfect for a family and pet-friendly. It is a camping resort, but the site was well taken care of and it was clear the owners were working to update the buildings and land. The trails on site were perfect for walking the dog. We didn’t swim, but the pool would be a welcome treat for younger children.
