The breakfast was great and the cook was wonderful, a great person and enjoyable to talk too. The front desk and cleaning staff were exemplary in their work and very caring about my needs. I thought I had left something in the room and they immediately went up and looked after I called and also left me a message later in the day to see how I made out when they couldn’t find Yet which a fortunately found at work I would definitely stay here again

I would have preferred there be a fitness centre on site, but definitely not a dealbreaker due to the professionalism and courtesy of the staff.

I thought it was a good find for the cost. There was breakfast included which was nice. They had a waffle maker to make your own waffles. The rooms were pretty decent and so were the bathrooms. The tubs are stained from being used. But overall was clean. I didn’t like that our room had carpet, the other room we booked, didn’t and it gives you the illusion it’s more modern and clean. Staff was super friendly. I would come back, if for nothing else, for the great staff!

Conveniently located, clean and quiet for sleeping. The pillows were amazing. :) The shower was clean and worked well.A small hot breakfast was very good with fruit, cereal and hot choices as well.

The bed that I had could have been more comfortable. It didn’t keep me awake or anything but most beds are now standard comfy, not just serviceable. A friend who stayed in opposite wing said hers was more comfortable so maybe they just haven’t replaced these yet.

Breakfast was excellent value - I appreciated that there was real cooked food (ie, eggs, sausage, waffles) rather than just cold cereals. Breakfast dining area was overcrowded, but I suspect that is because hotel was booked solid with people there to view the eclipse, and wouldn't be a regular occurrence. We were able to take food to our room and eat there.

Cleaning staff left their items in the hall for extended time such as bagged garbage that needed to go out.

The location is really good, close to many restaurants. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is good and they offer a 24/7 coffee, juice and water bar. There is even a small park in the back, which especially good for people travelling with their dogs!

Some of the rooms are starting to show their age; especially in the bathrooms. The heating / colling systems have not been updated in all the rooms.

I liked the convenience driving up to a sliding door that enters my room. I loved the big tv and big bath tub. I loved the back area designated for smoking and walking the dog. Lovely wooded area that was quiet and spacious.

The AC was ice cold in my room which typically I love but it was either full blast or off, and the room was very clean but also smelled to much like cleaner for me.

Quiet. The evening person at reception came to fix the tv immediately. Breakfast was better than most included with bookings

We had asked for a ground level room as there is no elevator. We were given a second floor room even though the hotel was not fully booked. The day person at reception would not change our room when asked.

Clean and comfortable room. Basic breakfast, but heated options and good value for money. Staff were very friendly. Good location, 15 mins from Port Dover and lots of food options within walking distance for dinner.

The shower height was too short for my 6"4 husband, but fine for me at average height! Room was quite dark, another light would have been good.

Had an issue with the TV and the night Clerk professionally and efficiently resolved the issue in a friendly manner.

hallway carpeting dirtier than I would have expected which is also a responsibility to the repeat guests who are not cleaning their boots upon re-entry. perhaps a boot station on the outside would minimize the impact on the carpeting and hallways

It was great food could have been a bit warmer The Lady that was there that ran was the nicest person we ever had the privilege of talking with

Our room the patio doors were both broken they need to be fixed and need way better pillows they were the worst but the rest was awesome
