The location is excellent, the staff are helpful and friendly and the ambiance is exceptional. We will definitely stay here every time we visit Stratford.
Could the breakfast not start a little earlier? We could not have this meal as we had to be at work in Toronto by noon. I think a number of people would stay over after the theatre, as they don't like late night driving, but then have to leave early for other commitments. Also, the tea/coffee table in the lobby was not well supplied. Something needed topping up every time we went to use it.

The Parlour Inn was a delightful hotel that served as the perfect home base while visiting for the Stratford Theatre Festival. The rooms were very spacious and well kept. It was also very close to downtown, so most of the theatres were less than a 10 minute walk away. We had breakfast there one morning and that was also great - their Standard Eggs Benedict on the Belgian waffles was particularly delicious.
The water pressure is a little lackluster, but pretty much what I'm used to at most hotels.

We originally had a room that faced the roads intersection below and the windows did not close properly so I could hear all the street noise. I asked to change rooms at 9pm. We moved room with a slight increase in price. The 2nd room was much quieter with only 1 window that closed properly and it was tucked away from the street noise. The staff was very pleasant in accommodating the change. The hotel has a free shuttle to the theatre with a pick up at the end of the show. Very convenient! The hotel is a heritage building, beautifully restored and maintained. Breakfast in the dining room was great. Service was excellent.
Just the street noise in the particular room we had facing the intersection. Once we changed rooms all was good.

The property was exceptional. Offered free coffee in the lobby, beautiful restaurant and has a lovely patio as well. Very historic and unique and the location to the downtown was perfect. All staff were more than friendly and welcoming. Loved the added touches such as emails from concierge to see if we needed anything, a shuttle to take you to wherever you would like to go if you didn’t want to drive. the shuttle driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. He dropped us off at the festival theatre and picked us up afterwards. This was the icing on the cake as it saved the hassle of driving and paying for parking. Certainly without question we will be staying here again.

Food was good, not great. Room was spacious. Sheets were clean and comfortable. Hot water was readily available.
The carpet was very dark and looked dusty (dirty) along the wall edges. Rooms, particularly the walls, were dark and old fashioned. Curtains, while well matched to wall color, were also too dark. These items need updating and thorough cleaning. The alarm went off for no apparent reason while I was getting ready for a shower -- a very uncomfortable and awkward situation. Should I leave in the raw?

My friend and I feel the Parlour is very comfortable. We stayed last year and plan to return next year. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a free shuttle to and from the theaters from the hotel. We ate at the restaurant and the staff and food was terrific too. I recommend this hotel. Also it is in walking distance to shopping and the main street.

I liked the location. The in room jacuzzi was good. The bed was big and comfortable.
We had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Service was good but slow, not the servers' fault as she was also taking care of room service. We watched a movie. Unfortunately, the streaming was glitchy with many interruptions, due to loss of signal.

Our room was charming and comfortable and the quality of the historic restoration and remodeling was impressive. Staff were friendly and helpful after we arrived. However, it was difficult to get details from onsite people before hand.
I have a minor mobility impairment which made the bathroom challenging. We brought a folding chair for me to sit on in the bathtub/shower. However, the shower was designed for tall people and the shower head was only minimally adjustable - kind of like an airline seat. Remodeling of bathroom space was clever, but the results were not particularly convenient. There was no place to put toiletries - except on the back of the toilet which was actually in a separate room. While the breakfast we ate at the hotel was delicious and the service was friendly and prompt, the menu was very limited - basically an upscale fast food menu. Some of the imagination that went into the historic restoration would have made for a lot more interesting restaurant.

The hotel is well situated, on the edge of town center and walking distance to all the theatres. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms was good and the vintage hotel was charming. We ate a meal at the restaurant with was OK (my chicken was overdone but my wife's pork chop was excellent).

Really liked the room, and the old style. Was close to the place I went to go see the play. Room was clean, and the soap smelled nice. that's all
Paid extra for view, but it is mostly a view of the LCBO parking lot, and there was an LCBO strike and the parking lot was empty. you're making me write a lot
