The breakfast had plenty of food for 2 people and the location was easy to find. Supply of quips, face wipes, even floss picks. What a bonus. Next time I would rent a room located on the other side of the building since the traffic was right in front of are door and we are not use to the noise.

Location of the room. Not alot of plug ins for phone beside the bed

The buffet breakfast has everything you would ever want or need….regional items such as waffle bits with local maple syrup, fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheeses and other breads, too. You will not walk away hungry! But best of all was the staff!! Friendly, accommodating, and truly going out of their way. We had dinner one night there…hmmmmm, great food!! The portions are large and vey delicious…we didn’t expect gourmet but got it!! Location is nice, too…easy to get to Old Town Quebec…as well as other places on and off the island. Especially liked the view and how quiet it was at night.

There was nothing unsatisfactory during my stay

This place has the air of being spruced up recently — the decor is hunting-cabin-ish, but our room looked like it had new fixtures and very cute accessories (dried flowers, a clock as decoration — nothing over the top, but some nice touches to suggest someone took care to make it look nice). The room felt like a nice place to hang out in, not just sleep. The restaurant/bar downstairs has very good food (pizzas, tartare, salads, poutine…). Staff is very friendly despite being very understaffed right now (June 2022) — there was one poor waiter for the whole restaurant on the night we ate there. The manager seems a bit harried as a result, but still made the effort to see that we were taken care of.

Nothing really - if I’m being super picky, the dining room/resto downstairs has the feeling of a food hall and not really a restaurant, if that makes sense. Could use some reorganizing to make the tables feel more cozy and the space feel less loud. Also, this is not the auberge’s fault, but directly behind the property is a farm with chickens and a rooster. The rooster crows at dawn — which was before 5am when we stayed — and does not stop!! So we were woken by a rooster and could not fall back asleep.

Stephanie texted us before we checked in and asked us about our dinner and breakfast preferences. Breakfast was prepared in advanced and placed in our room. It was high quality and delicious. Room was clean and well decorated! Everything worked just fine. Highly recommend.

The inn is really cute inside and the rooms we had with a view on the Saint-Laurent river exceeded our expectations. The inn was a bit understaffed (post covid issues) but the staff was really AWESOME, friendly, efficient... they made our stay really greater than we expected.

The room was a little cold during the night and there was no option for turning the heater on. But there were extra blankets so in the end, it was not a big deal.

Spotlessly clean, everything new, extremely comfortable bed, spacious room. Very convenient to go downstairs to dinner which we enjoyed. Very nice to have Netflix after a long day. Excellent breakfast included, we especially appreciated having fresh fruit. Grateful to the staff for speaking English as we have limited ability to communicate in French.

Excellent auberge if the room is towards St Lawrence. Amazing view from the room and patio. Great breakfast.

Of the two rooms, the stay in the room facing the road was not as great, as noise from passing vehicles was unpleasant to me, a light sleeper. Perhaps they could invest in triple pane windows. Room by itself was excellent.

I loved the extras they put in the room that were unexpected.

The room was VERY clean and organized. Better than most hotels, motels or inns. It was an EXCELLENT experience!

great location and views over the river. The room was lovely and we loved having a delicious dinner right there in the terrace watching the sun set.

breakfast was disappointing after what we had read and the yummy dinner the night before.
