This hotel was a nice surprise. We had been staying in other hotels in Puerto Natales, and chose the Hacienda Dorotea because, this time, the others were sold out, and wished we had found this gem sooner. Not to mention that this brand new hotel has a great history behind.

There’s nothing we disliked. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, detached from the city but not far from downtown (only a couple of minutes drive). If you don’t have a car, the folks at the reception will call you a taxi and it’ll be there in a matter of minutes. The breakfast is one of the best in the region, an di the hotel itself has a romantic atmosphere (four thumbs up).

+ The attention and love for the details are to be seen in every corner of this recycelt house. We had the luck to have a small "family museum tour" from Maria del Rosario self and we were totally delighted to see how much love and effort were put in this hotel. + The breakfast was the best we had in our tour and we stayed before in some other bigger well known hotels. Considering that in South America there is not much use to have big breakfast, we were surprised about all what was offered and the different and lot of delicious and self made stuff. You are asked if you want to have eggs and if you do, they prepare them fresh and the way you want. This is something maybe common in higher star hotels and surprised us here very positively. The also had self-made pies and marmalade but if you prefer packaged products, you had them too. + The peace and AMAZING views!! From every part of the room. Even a small window at the shower which allows you to have a shower with view (but enough privacy!) + Price-performance ratio, TOP!

Well, actually it is not something that we "didn't like" but maybe something you may consider when choosing this hotel. You are approx. 5km from the center which for us was more than perfect! We had a car and after been at the center I was personally happy not to spend the night there. The hotel offers restaurant service too but, if you rather have dinner in town, they will call you a taxi and Maria assure me, that it doesn't cost much (around 4500 CLP / approx. 5 EUR). The street which takes you to the hotel doesn't look good at all and may "discourage" you. But trust me: keep driving and you will be rewarded with a great room and very nice staff!!

The staff was amazing, the people in reception, kitchen, all very helpful, friendly and very lovely. They helped us with bookings and contacting the agencies and transport companies to arrange some day trips.

The history of the property made it all the more interesting. The setting and views were gorgeous. The staff exceeded all expectations and went out of their way to ensure I had a care free stay.

We like this place because it's quiet and not too far from Puerto Natales. The room was simple and clean, with no TV, but very airy and featuring a big glass window offering a great view. The staff was friendly, and checking in and out was quick and simple.

I wish the quality of the food at dinner was a bit better. Luckily, the hotel wasn't too far from Puerto Natales. Since we had a car, it was fine for us to drive into town and find plenty of yummy food options. The bath towels had yellow stains and could use some upgrades.

Loved the usage of reclaimed materials in the stunning rooms and common areas. When we first pulled into the very small parking lot, I was a bit nervous based on the exterior view, and the fact ours was the only car there. The reception area is on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot. I was nursing a leg injury so the young woman at reception allowed us to use the employee entrance (which is closest to the parking lot) to wheel in our luggage. The rooms are very large and very comfortable. Loved the huge windows and enjoyed the bird life and watching the horses. Breakfast was really good. A quick and easy drive, or a short taxi/Uber ride into Puerto Natales. We stayed 5 nights and drove to Torres del Paines two days (1.5 hrs to park entrance).

Not sure how to describe it, but the vibe was a bit odd even tho the facility is beautiful. Very few other guests while we were there, which may have contributed to this. I was under the impression there was a restaurant and a bar, but apparently they just do special event dinners there.

This is a small boutique hotel. The view from our room was one of the best we've ever had! The room itself was very comfortable, with adequate space, very comfortable bed and great shower. The staff was very friendly & helpful . The breakfast served daily was simple but adequate. The property is located a short 10 minute drive from Puerto Natales and a modest drive to the entrance of Torres del Paine National Park. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and hope to return in the future.

Beautifully finished room and lovely unique layout, with a nod to origins as a stable. Good quality touches. Large main window with views over the surrounding landscape and mountains in the distance Felt very warm without being stuffy Communal areas felt cosy and welcoming Staff were friendly Breakfast was plentiful with buffet of lots of options including cooked options on request from the kitchen. On the first floor level to maximise views as well Would certainly recommend and return Location was out of town so had to drive into Puerto Natales but easy to park

The breakfast was above expectations. Delicious with eggs cooked to order. The staff was so friendly and helpful arranging transportation and recommendations for restaurants.

This hotel was absolutely stunning - our room was beautiful and all rooms have huge windows looking out at the mountains. The bed was huge and so comfortable (great after a few days hiking in Torres del Paine!) and the bathroom was large with a waterfall shower and very hot water. The staff were very helpful and breakfast the next morning was delicious and plentiful, served upstairs with yet another view of the mountains. There is also a 'salon' area where you can sit and chill out. Could not recommend this place more.

It is about 5km out of Puerto Natales and there is no restaurant so unless you have a car it may be tricky to get around - we had a car so it wasn't an issue at all and we could drive into town for dinner. However once you get to this place you likely won't want to leave!
