The location was absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean, with parking space included, which was a great convenience. There’s also a nice lunch restaurant on-site, and the breakfast offered a good variety.

The only downside was the coffee—unfortunately, it was premade and lacked the quality you’d expect for this price range. It would have been nice to have a good coffee machine or at least the option to order a cappuccino. Overall, a great stay with one small area for improvement.

Great room, centrally located, comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom facilities. The pool was lovely, though not heated so I didn’t get in as it was too overcast, but would have been nice on a hot day. Lounge and patio area was nice. The use of the sauna was great and the facilities around it were impeccable.

Staff didn’t seem to understand what a service dog is and tried to make me sit outside on a colder morning because I had her with me, but finally allowed us inside. Perhaps some training on people with disabilities may be helpful for future guests.

Clean, modern, and comfortable. The room was a little bigger than expected, with sufficient storage space for clothes, etc. The staff are absolutely great. They are helpful and very friendly, above and beyond the call of duty. I especially appreciated how hard they worked in arranging for transportation to and from Santiago and its airport to Vina Del Mar. (Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar can be difficult to reach from Santiago.) They quoted me a price much less than my hotel in Santiago quoted me from the same trip. The breakfast selection was large and tasty. The sauna got very hot to warm my bones on what is unseasonably cold autumn weather at the time of my visit. The price for the room was very fair for the high quality of the property, especially since hotels in Chile tend not to be bargains. (There are a lot of things in Chile that are very inexpensive. Nice hotel rooms generally are not one of those.)

The location is neither a plus nor a negative. It's not along the ocean and it's a little less than a one-mile walk to the Vina Del Mar station for Valparaiso metro (which is very cheap, very convenient, very clean). The shower is very modern in design, which means water does get everywhere, especially if you use the handheld shower head. More on point, the water in the shower took a long time to heat up and did not get as hot as I would have liked. I'm not sure if this was only a temporary problem or something standard with the property.

The room was nice, very roomy and the morning breakfast buffet lovely. The front desk staff, bar and restaurant were all friendly, responsive and very nice.

Housekeeping was slow to respond in getting us an iron and ironing board (none in the room) and did not clean our room during our stay. We checking in on a Friday and out on a Monday - Saturday we were preparing for a wedding and asked to have the cleaning skipped but Sunday we left a tag to clean the room and it never happened.

Amazing hotel in amazing location. We enjoyed the room with great view on 14th floor, free underground parking, rich breakfast, pool and terrace on 3rd floor. WiFi is good, rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good and big bed, amazing shower. Recommend to stay.

If you come to breakfast past 9 AM, there will be crowded and may not be nice place to seat. Recommended to come before 9AM (better on 8AM).

Love the big room, very clean and also quiet. Comfortable bed, so had some nice sleep. Also located in a nice area near the restaurants and bars.

I would expect service at the pool, nobody came to me to ask if I wanted a drink, while the weather was very hot. I had to get it myself at the bar on the terrace. Later, was also the service at the terrace not that good, I had to ask for a drink and when I was finished they didn't check if we wanted new ones. It could be easy to satisfy your customers when being more on top of it.

A hotel accessible to all places, beaches, malls and very safe. Each floor of the hotel has its own security card to provide tranquility and peace for us. Now, breakfast, lunch or dinner a lot of dedication and professionalism, really really amazing.The staff the same professional and very staff friendly. Thanks Novotel hotel for everything, the best experience located in the heart of Vina del Mar. Wonderful swimming pool, gym, Sauna, beautiful view. I am from Sydney Australia and I recommend them to everyone.

I have run out of time in this wonderful Novotel hotel. I have to go back to Australia but I will be back soon and for longer.

Together with my booking, I asked the hotel to provide the room on a high floor, which they did, and it had a nice corner position with a beautiful, relaxing view over the city. It was silent which is the most important feature to me, and the bed was super comfy. Size and decoration were very nice. Also the location is nice, a short walk from the restaurant area and the promenade.

I wish they would provide a free bottle of water and the breakfast would have more options in the fruit. Getting hot water in the shower was a bit of a struggle on the high floor.

The room was quiet and the temperature was suitable. The bed is very comfortable I could sleep very well, I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the city and this has the most comfortable bed.

The breakfast room was freezing I assume that was because of the air conditioner, I had to have breakfast with the jacket on. Also, the staff allows people to smoke cigarettes near the breakfast-room door, so the smell goes into the room and that it's very disgusting in my opinion, they should be more careful about that, maybe close the door or tell people to go smoke somewhere else.
