The room and location is good.

Breakfast is average. The noodles station there was no chef or instructions to guide people that they need to heat up the water and soup. Porridge and food is not hot. Coffee only black coffee no other choice. I saw a cockroach climbing out of the coffee machine and told the cleaning lady. She used her hand to swipe away the cockroach to the floor and the next moment you cannot see the cockroach anymore...magic!!! Though I understand this is common problem for coffee machine, but they should have get it serviced and cleanse. Ride hailing for car because of the location driver did not turn into the hotel entrance but stop outside the traffic light junction 50m away. This hotel has no concierge service to help you call for ride. You have to walk out to call the car in.

Very good breakfast, very good location and staff. The only thing a little uncomfortable was the payment did via booking.com was just for confirm the visit, then in the place you must pay it again (the staff claim that the money paid to booking.com is going to be returned to me in one month -after leaving the hotel-). Every thing else was perfect, I am going to book again Paco hotel

Literally in the city centre, the mainstream of Beijing road is just a stone away. Tons of restaurants and malls nearby. Metro station is nearby as well, 2-3 mins walk. Front-desk staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but sufficient for such price paid. Breakfast is ok, so do head to the streets for food.

Toilet design in the room is a bit odd, 2 separate door for the loo and the shower. wasn't that used to it, as the upper part of the loo door is not fully covered, air is freely communicating between the loo and the room. Our room is at the far even from the elevator. There's window in the room, but hardly any view.

Cosy hotel right next to a popular shopping area. Washing machines with free detergent. Good gym.

There was a somewhat bad smell in my room, probably from the ventilation. I don't really care much but talked to the reception about it and they said they'd fix it. Was slightly better but something was still off. Some staff thought they were helping me by the washing machines by pushing me to the side, setting some default washing cycle and pouring detergent in the wrong slot and starting the machine when I was perfectly fine with working on the setting together with my translator app. Quite annoying, I didn't really know what was going on before I had the wrong program running with my laundry and the staff person be gone before I could react. Oh well...

Good breakfast selection and there was also complimentary tea. Location was amazing - it was just right by the metro station and also the main pedestrian street. Air conditioning worked which is important as Guangzhou can get quite hot. In room facilities were also adequate.

The rooms could do with more ventilation as it can feel stuffy when first entering the room. Also, the hotel layout is a bit strange. The furthest rooms are quite a walk away (the hotel only has one floor for rooms). General cleanliness is fine, but noted areas where improvements could be made.

The location of Paco Hotel is just a few minutes away from the main food and shop area where the local and tourists must visit! Although it is a small boutique hotel, it has a decent gym which is sufficient for a good range of workouts. The breakfast is slightly limited but still enough if you're short on time with places to go. After travelling around China and returning to Guangzhou for a brief visit, we chose to stay at Paco Beijing Road.

Many hotel rooms in China with carpeted floors sometimes retain the smell of smoke left by previous guests, but when requested, they usually arrange a service to clean and reduce the smell. We prefer rooms without carpets which Paco was happy to help us swap to.

Your staff all have positive and friendly attitude. One of your supervisors, the guy without spectacles, went out of the way to help my wife book transport to airport. There were 5 ofnus and nearly 200kg of luggages. His commitment to find the alternative was beyond his duty. He also got boxes for us to pack our stuff at 7am in the morning. You should give him a pat on the back.

The automatic coffee machine is slow and fickle during both my stays in October last year & this week. Each time, there were hiccups. Machine suddenly turned off. The machine was slow and there was a queue to make the coffee. The milk discharged out of the cup area. Your staff should know the problem.

Great location and very close to the metro station for Beijing Road. The buffet breakfast had lots of variety. The room was very comfortable.

The staff at the hotel did not have great English so it was difficult to communicate.

Well located in the centre of Guanghzou. The room is simple but fine and clean esp for a short stay. We did have a window. The staff is very friendly! Qsu Qsu in particular was very helpful with solving an issue with my taxi. They don’t speak great English but with a translation app we could communicate.

I couldn’t pay by European credit card, they were all refused. I had to go pick up money at the ATM. Also the breakfast caters mostly to Chinese tastes. Some more western choices would have been nice (besides fried egg and bread)
