Staff members were all super friendly; at the reception, the breakfast lady, cleaning lady. Most did not speak English, but we managed with google translate and some basic spanish from my side and basic english from theirs. Location was good! During my trips to Bogota, I usually stay in Chapinero, but within that area, I think Quinta Camacho is my new favorite neighborhood. I loved that this hotel is located on a quiet street but still very close to busier areas. Many good restaurants around and easy and safe to walk around.

It was a bit noisy, bring your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. For work trips, I always check that there's a desk and coffee machine available in the room. And indeed there was a coffee machine, but there were no coffee pods to put into the machine... I asked on the first day, but they said they didn't have any available and for the rest of my stay, there were none provided. The room was ok, spacious, but for US/European standards I would not rate this as 4* hotel; more a 2 or 3* or good-quality guest house. But that is ok considering the price - still good value for money.

cute little room with a desk, comfy bed, closet, tv and full bathroom. The room has a window that goes to the indoor hall so we used to close it most of the time for privacy and cause it was cold but make sure you open it every now and then to have flow of air and get out any smell/moist from the toilet. Everything was perfect, breakfast was eggs, mini pancakes and arepas. As much fruit as you wanted, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice. Staff and kitchen lady were lovely!

Excellent location and comfort!

Night receptionist threatened with calling for my deportation because I didn't present my "cedula" first. I have dual citizenship from US and Colombia, but I live in the US. Because of this, I should be able to avoid paying for Colombian taxes by just showing my US passport. Supposedly they need now an entry permit to Colombia (even if you're a Colombian citizen). This was outrageous behavior on behalf of the hotel's front desk. It's fine if those are your legal requirements, but don't be openly threatening guests like that. This is completely unacceptable! I can't imagine receptionists doing this to every person that has a dual citizenship just like me. Ridiculous!

Staff is very nice and helpful. When we asked for a bigger room (with bigger bed) after the first night we were able to move to a much nicer room which just became available against a small increase. Definitely worth it. Breakfast was good (fruit, eggs, juice, some toast and pencakes). The location is good, some very nice restaurants and bars are very close but for everything else you need a taxi which is no problem and standard in Bogota anyway. The area felt very save. We enjoyed our stay very much.

During check-in we were told breakfast is until 10am but it clearly ended at 9:30. We still were served food but it was a little more challenging. And during check-out they told us some things were missing from the minibar (that we did not take). In the end it wasn't an issue but it was still an uncomfortable situation for us since the manager (who spoke English) didn't talk to us directly but apparently asked the young man at the reception to discuss this issue with us. Unfortunately he didn't speak much English, so this discussion took way too long while our taxi was waiting. The manager could have solved this much easier. And if you book a small room with a small bed you GET a small bed (1,20m in our case). Luckily we could change to a bigger room which was really nice.

The Venezuelan guy who works there is spectacular and made the stay amazing. Kudos to him

For me quiet at night is very important. The room was super quiet, but there is a hostel in front of them. One night the hostel people were late outside being loud and I couldn’t sleep. I went down to ask for support from the front desk person and she was totally indifferent. I went to the hostel myself to ask them to be quiet but they didn’t care. I would suggest an intervention from the hotel if the hostel people are being loud last midnight, as this interferes with the quality of the stay of their guests. Also, breakfast ends at 9.30am. Too early for some people who want to sleep in while on holidays

The staff were extremely friendly and service-oriented. I became ill during my stay and they attended to me. The initial room was beautiful, cozy and clean. The breakfast was standard and wasn't the full range of what Bogotá had to offer for breakfast.

I would describe this place is more like a bed and breakfast or guesthouse rather than a hotel because you can hear the other guests if they speak loudly, but the smallness and the attention to your needs by staff also outweighs it. When I extended my stay, I was switched to another room. It was supposed to be a more luxurious room, but the hot water wasn't working in the shower and no alternative was given to us until the next day.

this property is in a quiet, safe, residential neighbourhood. the receptionist was lovely and helpful to all our queries. the room was spacious and shower was amazing. it is well located for the trans millennial public transport system and there are plenty of restaurants around. thank you for a wonderful stay

- as others mentioned the walls are thin so the room can be quite noisy - no laundry service so we had to take it somewhere 20 mins away

The hotel is very clean, modern, pretty, good location, and the staff is extremely helpful. I never bring hairdryer because most places have one to borrow. The hotel did not have one but 30 minutes after asking for it the manager showed up at our room and handed me a brand new one. I was so impressed! Our room was cleaned every single day and got fresh towels too.

My only suggestion would be to make the breakfast a bit more diverse. It was a little bowl of fruit with two eggs and toast every morning with a coffee served by an employee. I prefer self service more, and like to refill my coffee cup several times during breakfast. But this is only a suggestion, I was very very satisfied with the experience there.

Clean and comfortable hotel in a good location. Staff were friendly.

The only disappointing thing was the early check-in we'd arranged (as we got to Bogota at around 3:00am). Originally we were told that the early check-in would be 50% of the nightly rate, but when we came to day other things were added on (taxes, breakfast...). This didn't amount to a lot of money, but it felt as though we were being exploited.

The hotel and room are very cozy, the bed is confortable, and the shower excellent. Most important, the staff is amazing! Erica and Moises make everything to help. They make you feel at home. Gustavo guarantees you will have a great day with a super tasty breakfast. The neighborhood is very beautiful and safe.

It was a bit noisy. You can hear travellers voices, other room facilities, and the kitchen (in themorinig). But nothing that would make me not coming back.
