First and foremost the friendly staff. After my first day I think I knew five members by name. Brenda, Javi, Dora were just amazing. The restaurant was great. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh daily fruit and lots of options. The egg casserole was my personal favorite. The location was amazing right on the beach in a relatively quiet part of the island away from the busy, crowded Centro. Our room was a good size with sliding glass doors that literally opened onto the beach. Once we stepped off our ample deck we were on the sand. The Internet service was surprisingly good.

They had a loud party one night right in front of our room that went on til all hours of the night. I wasn’t able to sleep that night. I don’t think it’s a regular occurrence. The suite we were in is closest to the beach and the largest of all the rooms, but it’s also by the restaurant and they arrive at 5am and they need to do a better job of controlling the noise from the chit chat and carrying on of the staff. The shower is really small. And having a key ring full of keys was inconvenient, always trying to figure out which key opened what door.

Overall we had a great stay. We loved the direct access to the beach and the sea view from the rooms. The rooms are comfy for a few days but a bit tight for longer. The beach is clean with plenty of loungers particularly in the morning. Later on I think others can use. The drinks are good a reasonably priced. There are a couple of restaurants to try on that stretch but otherwise need a taxi. It was fun walking over to the island. We had good hot water.

With no drinking water it would be good to have filtered water to fill up bottles rather than having to buy plastic. We had some very peaceful times which was perfect but on one day a large speaker arrived which woke us up before 8 am. It also made reading on the beach difficult. Having spoken to staff it improved a bit but there seems to be view that all the guests like loud music. The kitchen staff are lovely but they do talk loudly from 6 am if you are on that side of the hotel. Most staff are very helpful. Please don’t spoil this beautiful retreat with constant music. Leave some peaceful time too.

The location is really great, you walk out of the bungalow and you are directly under the palm trees. It also has enough sunbeds to chill there. We thought at first that the space in the bungalow would be scarce, but it was sufficient.

We have been to about 7 hotels in Colombia now and the service staff has always been very friendly. Here, unfortunately, it was not necessarily the case. We found the service staff rather unfriendly. Also the sea grass on the beach could be removed more often.

Very nice place. The staff was great. The location was perfect to stay and enjoy the beach. The restaurant have a variety of dishes.

The location at the beach front is quite amazing.

The containers which build the base for the rooms are already a bit dated and amenities are not of premium quality ehich I would expect for such a price in Colombia. We had the suite which was spacious but could have been equipped with a closet for example.

It was a nice hotel in front of the beach and it was quite. Staff was friendly and the food was nice. However, the Sargazo was an unfortunate experience. :( The beach was really bad (dirty) and It had a very awful smell, continuously. I could not swim at all with the Sargazo (an alga floating all the time in huge amounts). We stayed 4 days and I could not swim there at all. If I would have known, I would have preferred to stay in the center where the beaches were cleaned.

Having machines on the beach every day to clean the sargazo, it was really bad the smell and the beach. Awful.

Location was amazing, lovely private beach, bar and restaurant. The hotel is surrounded by palms, trees and sand, very charming atmosphere. Perfect for pairs that want a holiday without the noise from the city or kids. Many options to choose from in the included breakfast, the food was really good for lunch and dinner too. The hotel has it's own beach beds, chairs and stuff so you'll always have a spot to relax by the beach. There are bikes you can lend to have a ride in the surroundings. The personal was very kind. There are many little convenience stores nearby and food places. (Many close really early, so you can either eat at the restaurant in the hotel, or go down town). The golf car rentals is just on the side of the hotel. Rocky cay just nearby which you can literally go to by crossing the sea (no need of boat if you can swim). Take some snorkeling glasses if you take this tour.

The service was really slow. If you order something at the bar, it will take at least half an hour to 45 minutes. The beach was quite full of seaweed, but it's seasonal / to be expected in March and April. So if you want to avoid that don't travel these dates. Looking at some of the neighboring hotels though I noticed they had cleared the beach for seaweed, so I think our hotel could have done that too.

Very good location next to nice beach. Friendly staff. Plenty of lounge chairs, shade, etc. Nice private patio outside room.

Restaurant... very poorly cooked food, eg greasy. Not a lot of variety. Very long preparation times. Bathroom is small (understandable; room is a container), but also very rundown, eg shower head was broken.

The hotel surrounding is beautiful compared to the most of the rest of San Andres. It has a beautiful beach to relax and in the evening often live music, nice lights and a cocktail bar.

We ate fish there and drank cocktails with ice, maybe thats our fault because our stomachs are not used to this tab water - so we had a really bad food poisoning at the last day and the whole last night, so our bodys didnt keep anything inside. we didnt consume on other places at the island. so take care with ice cubes in drinks and food.

The great location and private beach -that's create a fantastic vibe. Friendly stuff & pleasant service.

Overall, the rooms are small (but okay for a short -term stay) and the cleaning could be better. + unpleasant smell in bathroom
