A great location for airport arrival / departures. The host Patricia is very friendly and prepared a lovely, typical breakfast for us. She was even kind enough to pick us up from the airport 11pm arrival and drop us back to the airport at 3am on our return leg! We initially only booked for our arrival night, but we booked to stay again for our final night before heading home too. The room we stayed in is separate from the main house and has its own private bathroom. There looks to be another guest suite inside the main house too.

No AC, but a powerful fan in the room to keep cool.

The room was spotless and the hosts were very kind and accommodating. Drove us to and from the airport at an early hour. We didn't have time for the breakfast but I am sure it would have been great! Neighborhood was also quiet, and we had the most restful sleep of our trip away from highway/traffic noise. A hidden gem that we would happily return to next trip!

Lack of signage to indicate which residence was the BNB. Limited dining options in the area. Finally, Booking.com needs to clearly indicate that the property is CASH ONLY, and payment is made when one leaves! Awkward moment at checkout as we scraped up the necessary payment, but Alexander was willing to drive us to an ATM in any event.

Patricia and Alex were very kind and generous. Patricia picked us up at the airport and stopped at an ATM for us as well. Alex drives a taxi and, lucky for us, was able to drive us to the bus stop in San Jose the next day. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was soooo comfortable! The home is gated and feels very safe, and was nice and quiet. Patricia cooked us a delicious and very filling traditional breakfast which was just lovely and so appreciated! We felt right at home. It’s a sweet spot that I highly recommend!

This is a super-cute B&B that gives you a very "local" experience close to the airport. Patricia and Alexander were very friendly, and Patricia makes the best gallos pinto for breakfast with eggs and just amazingly sweet fruit! She also picked us up from the airport at almost 1am, and took us back the next day to meet our friends and go to our other rental.

The "instant-on" hot water contraption in the bathroom didn't work, so we ended up with cold showers in the morning, with nothing we could do about it. However, I suppose that's also part of the "local" experience!!! ;>)) You just have to be prepared!

You stay with Alexander, Patrizia and their daughter at their home. They offer two rooms with private bathroom and we could use the garden to relax outside. The family is super friendly :) Patrizia brought us to the airport for free and she even took an extra ride to bring us our camera, which we forget in the room. Thank you so much for that! We had breakfast with the family and had very interesting conversations. The room and the bathroom have an interesting interior :D but very useful and comfortable.

It is a homestay. When you prefer being for your own in a hotel, then don't book this ;)

Perfect, we loved it! You live together with the family in the same house, but of course you have your own room and a seperate bathroom and they are really kind. They offered us some empanadas and always helped us. We booked this room because we had to get to the airport really early and they drove us to the airport at 6 am:) The room looks a liiitle unusual, but we didn't care and its is really clean here in general! Breakfast is included and it was delicious. We wished we spent our first day in Costa Rica here too, not only the last night :)

Alexander & Patricia were extremely hospitable. The communication prior to our arrival was excellent. They were willing to pick us up from the airport, then return us again in the morning for our shuttle. Our arrival was very late and they were so friendly & accommodating. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable and we felt completely safe in their home. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for breakfast but it looked delicious. We’ll return for a future stay.

We were grateful for the airport pickup because it would have been a challenge for us to locate at night.

We had a welcoming and much comfortable overnight stay at this B&B. It was a pleasure to have met Alexander and his lovely wife Patricia. She was kind enough to pick us up from the airport late at night and then take us back the next day to join our shuttle. They then prepared a really nice breakfast for us. One of the three choices they offered. Our room was quite large and it was clean. The shower had hot water but it took a while for it to heat up. The internet connection was really good.

I can't remember if there was anything I didn't like about our stay.

This is a family run business, run by Patricia and Alexander. They are super kind and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I have stayed with them a few times since I discovered them and wouldn't stay anywhere else. They are very close to the airport and if they are able to do say they might be able to collect you from the airport which is invaluable. Patricia does a wonderful Costa Rican breakfast and I just love it there. Very homely.

I stayed here for one night, as I was flying out of Costa Rica next day. It is close to the airport and the shuttle is offered by the hosts for free. The bed was very comfortable, nice and clean bathroom, open area with a sofa just outside the room. Everything was very cosy. The morning breakfast was typical Costa Rican and yummy. Patricia, the host, speaks very good English, is very friendly and very helpful with recommendations around the area.
