The cabins are in the jungle and are very luxurious whilst being as eco friendly as possible! The bed was very comfortable and the outside shower was amazing! Another great feature is that a portion of the cabin’s walls are open and covered with a thick netting to keep insects out but this means that through the night you are immersed in all the sounds of the jungle and the river which makes it such a unique experience! The grounds of the hotel have a trail which leads to an amazing waterfall where you can swim, and there is also a lovely natural water swimming pool closer to the cabin. The staff are very friendly and helpful, thanks to Sergio for being so welcoming!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

This property is simple spectacular. The love and care these owners have is simply remarkable. It’s is a completely green hotel that only has 5 villas. All with outdoor showers. Amazing view of the forest from your room. A spa, pool, restaurant and a paradise for those wanting to disconnect and take in nature. The team members are so caring and accommodating. This hotel is going to be in demands soon it is that special. Glad we got to stay here before it’s chosen as one of the coolest places to stay in Costa Rica.

There isn’t one thing I can find wrong about this place. However, if at anytime you want to want to watch TV, your phone will have to do.

Once at the resort, the surroundings were fabulous. Immersed in nature with activities such as swimming at waterfalls, riding horses, getting pampered at the spa, the experience was so relaxing and invigorating at the same time. The all inclusive breakfast was delicious and the restaurant had wonderful choices. I especially recommend the gnocchi dish. We especially loved the mountain house… The view of the rainforest was spectacular. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our time.

The location deep into the rainforest meant that we did not travel away from the resort for the entire time we were there which left just the restaurant for food options. Most of the food was very good at the restaurant but on the expensive side.

This was a very unique experience. We were looking for a unique place between San Jose and Puerto Viejo. This seemed a little out of the way, but it met my requirements (clean, unique, modern amenities, etc). This is a stunning place to have true getaway. The property is beautiful!! Rooms are nice and comfortable and the food was good.

It was tough to get here...almost a half an hour off the main road on a very bumpy road, so be prepared. The room smelled a musty. I wish there was some sort of lock the bathroom door since it is open to anyone who may want to come in.

Great experience to stay in the jungle and hearing the forest's activity . A dream to stay here for a couple of days at least. Nice people, good food. Loved the coconut lemonade. Enjoyed the walk with the guide. If you want to experience Costa rica, this can be a nice place to enjoy.

A cold room during the night for my confort( the temperature is much lower). The road that is better to do it by day, with a 4*4 car. Is with pebbles and if it rains ..is not easy to drive.

Staying at Ecolirios was the most amazing experience. The hotel is small enough that wherever we went the staff would greet us by name and they were the most accommodating and helpful staff I have ever experienced, any request was immediately fulfilled, Manrique would text us to keep us updated on everything and ask if there was anything else the staff could do to make our stay better. We did some of the tours and I’m positive you could not get better experiences anywhere in the country. The horseback riding tour took us to a hidden natural swimming pool where rappelling was offered, it didn’t feel like tourism but rather like a family friend showing off their little part of the country, there was not another tourist to be seen. We also had spa services and I will never forget them, the scrub was amazing and there is no better place to get a massage than in the middle of the rainforest in an open air spa overlooking a waterfall. We didn’t use the sauna but the offering of alternating between the natural swimming pools and the sauna looked enticing. Another thing that was unique and amazing, since all the rooms are their own freestanding cabins, the bathrooms are oriented to look out over private rainforest and the showers are open air, it was maybe the best shower of my life. Overall I’m counting down the days until I can go back!

I loved everything!

This hotel is immersed in the middle of the rain forest. The villas are very high spec amd built to take full advantage of the forest views. The team are amazing, happy to help with any request and they really go the extra mile. Sergio was a star and a real asset to Ecolirios, although all staff were great. Amazing trips and spa treatments were organised for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. It’s a unique place to stay for sure.

Nice overall. The grounds were beautiful. The staff was fantastic.

A lot less privacy than we were lead to believe from the pictures. We could see/be seen from those parking while lying on the bed without any way of blocking visibility from the outside. The bathroom had very little vegetation to block or even give sense of privacy for a public foot path that passed no more than 10ft from the toilet(no joke). We felt like we were in a petri dish for staff/other guests to just look in upon.

This place is an exceptional and unique experience. The staff is highly professional and hospitable, the area is insanely beautiful. There is only one restaurant which I expected to be mediocre because of the lack of competition. Oh how wrong I was. All the food was gourmet and of exceptional quality, price wise it wasn’t cheap, but it was great value for what you get.

The road to the hotel is pretty beat up, but it was pure joy driving our rented Jimney there :)

The property was situated in a great location. The design of the villas and entire compound was just amazing! I’ve stayed on the Pacific side of CR, but the Caribbean is much peaceful. The local town just down the road is great to do your shopping or just absorb the culture. It’s not touristy like the Pacific side. I’ve been to some cool destinations with a great staff, but the staff here including the owner are just brilliant. They really know how to give their guests a welcoming hand of their country which you can feel the minute we got picked up at the airport! Gracias a todos!!!

I honestly can say that there is not one thing I didn’t like about the property. If you want a rainforest adventure and tranquility, then this is the place.
