Clean and comfortable room. Nice balcony with a beautiful view. Building felt secure and staff were super friendly. Access to the communal kitchen was appreciated. Location close to lots of restaurants.

We would have appreciated screens on the windows, but that being said, we didn’t get any mosquitoes in the room. I don’t know if it’s always like that or just due to the time of year. Parking on the street in front requires payment during business hours, but we found parking around the corner with no problem.

The roof top balcony was a lifesaver and such a great place to hang! Abigail and Robert were so helpful and kind. Abigail went above and beyond to help us set up a rafting tour and when we got rained out she was helpful in suggesting other things our family could do. Turns out, hanging on the balcony was the perfect fit. The location is in the middle of the city but on that balcony it does not seem that way. The location is great and you can easily walk to anything. Our room was super comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen area were clean. We really appreciated their help and would have stayed here longer. Thank you!!!

Lis and her staff have created such a lovely and welcoming spot in the center of Turrialba! A perfect balance between the cleanliness and quiet of a hotel, and the friendliness of a hostel. Lis was incredibly helpful as well, going so far as to coordinate a cheese tour for us (recommend!!) even though this tour wasn't officially offered when we were visiting. We loved our stay here and were sad to leave!

Great location, very easy to find. we were able to park our car within the hotel gates so it was safe for the night. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the hotel has a nice roof terrace where you can lounge after a long drive and enjoy the view of the city.

it was centrally located and had a beautiful rooftop porch area to relax in and a back garden area as well as a comfortable lobby. lots of great spaces. the staff was friendly and so helpful. they were amazing!

This place was wonderful and way beyond my expectations. Moe, the night time host, was incredibly helpful with everything... Restaurants, rafting, even trying to get my cracked cell phone screen fixed. If you are considering coming to Turrialba, it is a very nice town and you would be well served to give Casa de Lis your business. Also, travel the Pacuare with Ticos River Adventures. Roberto runs a business that takes service safety and fun to a 200% level. Cannot recommend it enough.

Located very close to the town and the white water rafting, lovely hotel with really helpful staff and a pretty garden and terrace. The book exchange is a lovely touch and I had a couple of books I’d finished with to leave behind. Highly recommended.
