Clean and comfortable :) The included breakfast was delicious and I really appreciated the airport shuttle. They helped me arrange activities while here and staff was extremely kind and helpful! I would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I arrived on 2 different flights… I had already checked in and arranged for the shuttle to pick her up later. When she arrived and messaged them as we were instructed to do, they did not respond. I had to go into reception and ask them to go get her… they did, but she was waiting at the airport for a long time after an exhausting day of travel. I think was a miscommunication between the day and night staff.

We booked this hotel because it was near the airport and, when we were there, we found out that they had free shuttle services to the airport which we found fantastic. We used the service and it really made our life easier as I had to be at the airport at 5 am; the driver was very friendly and punctual, and they even gave me breakfast to take as I could not have breakfast at the hotel.

When we gave our rented car back we were told that one of the hotel's van would pick us up at the car rental's office, however, there was a problem and we had to wait for an hour at the sun and on a remote lonely place while we received unclear messages stating that a taxi would arrive at some point (and never arrived). In the end, as time went by and the messages were unclear, we decided to catch a taxi that gladly went by and went to the hotel, but we spent the afternoon at the car rental office instead of enjoying the pool or doing something more relaxing.

Friendly reception (mostly they spoke good English but not all staff did) Well shaded room patio and pool areas from both sun and breeze Large comfortable room, air-con, shower etc. Restaurant/bar area is very high quality/upmarket - really excellent food Free shuttle bus to/from the airport. Normally 10 minutes each way, but it took 20-30 mins due to traffic. Normally goes on the hour, every hour, but it seems like it can cater for individual times when booked ahead. We were able to checkout at 12 noon, but stay in the public areas and use the restaurant until departing at 3pm

As with many Costa Rican hotels, the breakfast is from a limited choice of set dishes, but all were excellent

The free breakfast was terrific, a fully cooked meal with multiple coffees, fresh juice and fruit. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable. AC splits in each room that were quiet and worked perfectly. Showers with soap and shampoo. A nice pool and ample indoor and outdoor common space for sitting. WiFi worked very well. I also had great communication with Esteban, who got back to me immediately about the shuttle service to and from the airport. They picked me up both times with very little waiting. The customer service was stellar.

The first night I was in a room that was had a neighbor with a dog that barked all night. I mentioned it to the staff and the next night I was moved to another room that was perfectly quiet. I was very impressed that they heard my complaint and immediately fixed the problem.

Beautiful property, nicely furnished/decorated, many common areas to congregate, lounge, and relax in. The on-site adjoining bar/restaurant/pastry shop was great! The staff speak both English and Spanish. For the included breakfast, there were 5 options to choose from like omelet, panini, and casado along with a fresh fruit plate, juice, and coffee. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious. The pool was cool and refreshing, AC in the rooms nice and cold, and the location was perfect, with a supermarket across the street you can walk to, and a free shuttle to the airport just 15 minutes away that leaves on the hour every hour. They are also great about letting you hang out in the common areas until your shuttle departure after checking out and can hold your luggage behind the desk at reception.

The showerhead didn't have all the nozzles spraying, but the water was nice and hot. The prices at the restaurant seemed slightly expensive for San Jose, though the portions were decent. Check-out is at noon with no option for late check-out, however, my key stopped working at 11am, and I had to get it reprogrammed to get back in the room. No fridge in the room and coffee pods for the coffee maker cost extra (buy at reception). There are no pool towels in pool area, and the adjacent outdoor shower wasn't working.

I stayed here for one night prior to my long haul flight the next day. It was in a perfect location, close to the airport yet in a very nice residential area which you could have a walk around and with a large supermarket opposite. I ate in the bistro restaurant next door which was very tasty and comfortable and it was great to use the swimming pool prior to my flight the next morning. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The free shuttle service was great and reliable. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful the minute I arrived, from the driver who picked me up through to the Receptionist, waiters and housekeeping staff. I was travelling on my own but felt completely at ease staying here - thank you and well done! I would definitely stay again.

There is some road noise at the back of the hotel but I still slept well.

The images don't show how much of a gem this place is. The restaurant staff made sure we had something to eat even though we arrived past restaurant hours. Lisa and Alejandra and Gonzalo had great humour and kindness. The shuttle to and from the airport was easy and quick. The breakfast included is lovely. The wood-fire pizzas are to die for. There is a super delicious pastry and wine shop within the hotel and an supermercado steps away. Rooms are quiet. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are excellent. Exotic flowers are everywhere. There was a large mango tree full of fruit right outside our window. We thought this was a place to crash for the first and last night and it turned out to feel like a destination in itself.

Great small hotel near San Jose International airport - with many of the services provided by the larger, more expensive hotels eg: private shuttle to/from airport (you need to contact the hotel the day before to book, you can do this via booking.com or by phone - they will then give you phone number of the driver to text him for the airport pick up), ample on site free parking, swimming pool, good restaurant, pleasant communal areas, large rooms and bathrooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and although on the expensive side it was good, there are also local places within an easy walk, There is a large supermarket right across the road. Safe area. Easy to drop off hire car at National/Alamo/Enterprize - we walked back!

Nothing really, a fridge in the room would be a good addition, there is plenty of space for one - but there is an ice bucket provided and ice is easily obtainable from reception.

We booked this hotel for a stay before an early morning flight out of SJO. We were pleasantly surprised with the services and hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They provided us a 3:30AM airport shuttle with breakfast and coffee. The hotel restuarant was decent and affordable. The location is walkable to some shopping areas. Parking is secure and guarded.

The area is a little loud in the evening, just because it is in a neighborhood where people live. This could have been due to the fact that there were local parades.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (1 night when we arrived to San Jose, and the night before we left the country at the end of our trip). The staff was so wonderful and quick at communicating. Their airport shuttle service is FANTASTIC and made our lives so much easier. The front desk staff and shuttle drivers went above and beyond for us. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the restaurant is in such a nice setting. We ate at the restaurant for dinner as well and it was quite good. A lot of locals eat here which gives it a nice vibe. All around a very convenient, safe spot to stay if you need to overnight before or after your flight. It was also super close to our car rental company (Alamo), which was super convenient.

The rooms are quite basic, so don't expect anything fancy. But we slept comfortably and it was clean. They don't provide any coffee in your room unless you pay for the pods at the front desk, which was a bit of a downside for us.
