Fantastic location - hotel in front of the sea, direct access to the beaches and few hundred meters from the village center Excellent Food (we had breakfast and 1/2 board) with new menu every day, fresh food, lot of choice Rooms were recently renovated, there are nice, big enough and Sea view is amazing (I would recommend to request rooms on 1st or 2nd floor numbers 130-137 or 140-147 that offer no lateral sea view and have sun in the afternoon/evening). Personnel at the restaurant is very nice and kind for the guests.

Hotel is made of concrete, grey (super ugly look) and keeping hot all day long. Air-conditioning is running max all the time and cannot chill the room below 23 deg. We had an issue with the room 210 that was heated by the sun from the morning to the evening and inside temperature was not below 26 deg. We have requested to change the room and it has been possible. Thank you for the staff to have done the best to make it possible. Hotel should regulate the availability of the sun beds close to the swimming pool. It is not normal to wake up at 6am to have the chance to book one (from that time, some customers are booking their place, leaving their empty towels all day long). It is a big hotel and no place guarantee for everybody.

Location was amazing

The space in the swimming pool was limited. Guests would “reserve” the sunbeds very early and would then disappear. So the sunbeds were empty but there was no space for the guests by the swimming pool. The hotel said that this was against their policy, but this policy was not ostensively enforced. There were only two small elevators( max 4 or 5 people) for the whole hotel. In peak hours it was impossible to take the elevator, which was a hassle when one had young children.

This is my favourite hotel in Brela and I always stay there, especially off the main season. The location is perfect and the hotel itself is very comfortable.

Parking space is a problem and accessing the hotel entrance by car is very difficult. Unfortunately, I don't think this problem can be solved in the near future because of building regulations in Brela.

Our stay was incredible! Room was immaculate, the double room comes with 2 single duvets. The cleaners only mop the floors and clean countertops and make the bed so minimal work done but we didn’t mind. Food was incredible with a pizza selection every night and a selection for everyone’s taste. We will be back to Brela in the near future! There are a few BlueSun hotels only 5 minute walk from Soline so we might try one of those next.

This isn’t mentioned in the booking but getting down to the hotel isn’t the easiest. We travelling by bus and it is a long and steep journey down to the hotel from the bus stop on the main road above Brela. If you are travelling I would recommend renting a car however I don’t know if the hotel has a carpark as we couldn’t see one very easily. To get back up to the main road to get the bus into split or back to airport you have to order a taxi which is €16. The outdoor pool isn’t in the sun either which was a bit annoying and limited sun loungers so we usually opted for one of the incredible beaches as they are breathtaking!

- very good location, beach front - nice personnel; willing to help you with any request - food was very good and fresh - efficient parking service and charger for EV available nearby. Hotel’s staff handled the charging of our EV - clean pool/ beach towel available every day - hotel’s sunbeds can be used for free and are very close to the beach

-room’s balcony not so well maintained. Walls need some repair works and painting. - balcony was not cleaned during our stay. - not enough space for storage. On the balcony would help some supplementary holder for beach towels and in the room maybe some supplementary shelves for shoes and bags.

The location was perfect, right by the beach and walking distance to the harbour. The rooms were big and comfortable and we had a great sea view from the balcony. The wellness was great and guests have free access to the facilities - loved the outdoor hydrospa although the indoor cold pool wasn’t very cold.

There was not enough outside space for sun bathing so the sunloungers were all far too close together and crammed into a small area around the pools. The snack bar for lunch was overpriced for the quality of the food, and the main buffet wasn’t very inspiring for dinner, although the breakfast was ok.

Swimming pool, staff politeness, food, location.

I find it not acceptable to allow smoking at the restaurant balcony during meals, and also at the swimming pools especially since there is a lot of children there.

It is fully renovated old Yugoslavian hotel. I really love brutalist architecture and I admired the hotel building and couldn't wait to see it for real. The interior is completely new and resembles a 4-star hotel. The staff is very nice and they help you with everything you need. The rooms are spacious, clean. The beds are very comfortable to sleep. The rooms on the upper floors have marvelous view of the sea. The food is great and I recommend you to pay for half board because there are not many restaurants in Brela. There is a variety of fish, meat, seafood, pasta, pizzas... every day. We were there for 10 days and meals were never boring. You have free sunbeds and towels to use by the indoor or outdoor pools. The pools are in great shape and great for swimming. The location of the hotel is amazing. Brela is a nice, small beachfront village, with beautiful beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. Perfect for a quiet family vacation. There is a scenery pedestrian promenade by the sea, spanning for miles, which you can use for walking or jogging under the old pine trees. I liked that beaches are public (not taken/occupied by private properties offering sunbeds). Sunbeds are available, but not installed by default, therefore the whole space is free for everyone. You can freely use your own towel, or rent a sunbeds/umbrella which is installed on the spot where you like. The best thing here is the air, which is different to anywhere I've been before. Its a combination of sea, pine trees and mountain breeze (because the village is under a mountain). Its fresh at night, not too hot and perfect for sleep.

Coming from a Balkan country I was missing Dalmatian music. Music is one of the first thing that comes to my mind (sea, food, music, nice people) when I think of Croatia. I was expecting more music during my stay in the hotel. I know that most of the guests in the hotel are not from around, but even instrumental background music from some of the popular Croatian serenades during dinner instead of that dull ambient spa music, would have hit the spot :). There was a band playing in one of the last nights in the hotel bar, but they are starting late and my small son was asleep already. The hotel don't offer any complementary drinks during dinner, not even water. I know its not universal or expected, but complimentary water with dinner is a common practice in many hotels.

Hotel Soline is good enough. There is a standard level of services, facilities and staff (use to be).

There is a problem with new staff. Probably, local people has gone to work across the border, so strangers are working instead. Other people - other maniers. It no fit in well. It is less hearing german, english, slovenien and more ukrainian, serbien, ... aloud

Right on the beach for swimming / bars and restaurants .The hotel food was very good with a great choice.

The breakfast was a bit cold but good choice. The hotel parking was a bit of a bind as there is not any ! You have no option but to pay the 8 Euro's a night for the hotel valet parking but your car is delivered within half hour of asking from the friendly drivers.
