The location of the hotel is simply fantastic. They've built the complex with comfort, ease of access and guest enjoyment in mind. You'll find something for everyone, young and old. The childrens pool is covered and protects against the sun during the day which is great. There is a tourist agency on the bottom floor that can arrange basically anything for you. A special thanks to Veronica for being the most welcoming Concierge I've ever met and going out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If i ever open a luxury hotel, I'm stealing her from Aminess. The hotel is 50m away from a wonderful beach full of activities and nearby shops. Towels are on the house as well as the sunbeds on the Aminess part of the beach but you gotta be early to catch a free one. All in all an amazing stay here and the reception staff are awesome.

- I heard some of the staff laughing about me speaking English while I'm Croatian. Sorry guys, i grew up abroad. - The pool-side staff can be quite rude but I'd be mad too if i had to serve people all day in 36 degrees celsius :)) - Our first two days there the rooftop restaurant was heavily understaffed resulting in long waiting times for orders.

Picturesque sea view, large comfortable rooms, nice food with great selection of dishes at breakfast and dinner. Nice swimming pools indoor and outdoor. Musical evenings with piano. All in all, great hotel.

I know it's quite a common restaurant practice to charge extra for water at dinner, but it gives a guest a feeling of a cheap guesthouse to it in an almost impecable hotel. Is such a disenchantment really worth this little extra money? Just to consider. Personally i would rather pay more for the stay than be nagged at dinner for a few coins more.

Our main complaint for a hotel of this statue is food at dinner. We were staying for the 2nd time and the food was almost the same as last year. Breakfast is ok, but dinner is just poor for a 5* hotel. Lots of sea foods which are delicate taste, few pizzas and bunch od sweets. No variety and every night is the same with a couple of changes here and there. Lots of food isn't fresh, in my opinion. Also, the kids' menu is non exsistent as it comprises 2 meal choices at best. Please take this as constructive criticism because it doesn't do justice to the hotel, the staff, and overall experience you get at Khalani.

Employees are very nice and friendly. The atmosphere is great and very family(kids) friendly. The nanny is great and our daughter had great time st kid’s club.

The beach outside of hotel is not so beautiful and there is no nice pedestrian outside of hotel to have nice walk.

The staff, food, hotel design and rooms all superb. Staff attitude and helpfulness particularly outstanding. chefs cooked healthy and varied every day. The room views of the mountains and ocean at sunset were spectacular. pools were good along with swim up bars. indoor pool great for kids on cooler days when windy.

Drinks service at dinner generally slow to poor. No cocktails at dinner. Dessert selection could be a little more varied. No ice cream for kids. Would be nice if pool staff monitored sunbed hoarding, it’s not allowed, but nothing is done about it.

This hotel approves 5 star rating. Staff is very professional and supportive, cleanliness is perfect, breakfast is very rich and there are so many options that it becomes difficult to make a decision. We even had special request to have vegetable soup for our kid and they prepared it at once without any additional charges (we expected those as it was extra request, but none happened). The other day they prepared it in advance as they knew we would ask for it. So, big THANKS from us. This is the best hotel in Croatian coast and we have been in many of them. The playroom and the animators were great with our boy - the biggest challenge was to leave the playroom and animators 😍

The hotel is lovely and very new; however I would say it more an excellent 4 star hotel. The facilities are clean and the staff stand out for their friendliness.

The hotel was very crowded and the food became quite repetitive when we stayed for a week. This is definitely a family hotel. There are children everywhere which is fine but if you are looking for a nice, relaxing, adult hotel - this is not the place for you.

This property is amazing, we just got back from a week holidsay with our 7 year old son. The property and everyhing around it is absoultely fantastic, its a true 5 star resort in Makarska, the only one at the moment. The hotel on its own is amazing, the rooms are fantastic, we had a seaview and a luxusry deluxe room and it was huge, it smelled amazing, the sheets and towels were changed daily, the pillows smelled fantastic. The lobby is great and the whole hotel is moder and in general meets all of the expecations we had from a 5 star resort. The pool and beach are fanstastic, lots of towels to use and the staff is really nice. We got a half board deal and the food and service at all bars and restaurans was incredible, professional people serving you all day. Dinner was never the same, lots of choices of meat, salad, veggies, fruit and all different sweets. I am impressed with it all, we have been to a lot of places around the world but this one was one of the best vacations ever. Big thanks to the Food and Bar Director Pero, who took the time to talk to not us but all the guests to make sure they are taken care of. Slaven who really made sure the restuarant and bar ran smooth. Nenad and Danilo, wow how amazing are these two guys and how well they do their job. Linda and Marta at the door, professional, nice and always there to help you. Jovan at the pool bar, always with a smile. Stefan at the Buba Beach, super nice and doesn't matter how busy always had time to talk to us. We are coming back, FOR SURE! Thank you to all the staff at Ameniss Kahali, my family is impressed with everything you have done for us, and do for all of your guests! Keep up the good work :)

Everything was great!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, from reception to cleaners. The cleaner even asked if we were pleased with how our room was cleaned. We had a problem with the safe (I think our own fault), reported it to reception & they booked a time for someone to come to fix it & they came on the time booked.

The breakfast was very good but not labelled very well for allergy suffers. I have a dairy intolerance & couldn’t really find out if I could use the margarine, so I bought some from the supermarket. In the end I found a manager, who explained the codes written on the food labels. The other thing was the toaster, it was a 2 slice domestic toaster, that didn’t always work. The other thing I didn’t like was, I’m frightened of birds & there was a nest in the corner of our balcony, so I couldn’t go out there. I couldn’t even leave the net curtain open because the birds were flying into window.
