I would really like to say something about the hotel. Before I arrived I saw some negative reviews about the breakfast, however during my stay, each day I join in breakfast after at least 930 still got plenty of choice. There's once hotel manager even ask the kitchen to make me some fresh scramble eggs cause it was almost empty. I would say communication is very important and the staff here are very friendly and eager to help.

Friendly staff across all departments of the hotel. Room spotlessly clean with daily housekeeping. Buffet breakfast with hot and cold options. Good selection to choose from on the evening menu in the restaurant. We tried various dishes, all of which were well presented and very tasty. The hotel is located on a pedestrianised street, close to the beach and many amenities - bus and taxi options very accessible. Boat tours can be booked directly across from the hotel,. There are numerous ATMS, pancake/churros stand, ice cream, cafe bar and shops with beach towels swimwear, flip flops, hats and bags also along the street. Great location to combine a city and beach break.

A one-way shuttle service was included in the price and our driver, Mirzo, was duly waiting for us at the airport, and drove us directly to the hotel without delay (30 minutes). Leonardo, the friendly receptionist, who spoke perfect English (and a few other languages as well), made us very welcome as soon as we arrived, and allocated us a lovely room (number 206) on the second floor, with a balcony that overlooked the terrace and the nice pedestrianised street beyond. The air-conditioned room was spotlessly clean, and housekeeping kept it that way by servicing it each day, which included the provision of fresh towels. The room and its ensuite bathroom were tastefully decorated and well equipped, courtesy of a relatively recent refurbishment of the hotel. Its double bed was a good size and very comfortable. The room also had compact refrigerator that kept anything we put in it nice and cold. A buffet breakfast was also included in the price, and there was a good selection of food on offer each morning, which could be taken inside in the restaurant or outside on the terrace. This property is ideally situated, being only a couple of minutes' walk to the beautiful (pebble) Lapad Beach in one direction, while the stop for the frequent bus service (Route 6, Babin Kuk), which can get you directly to Dubrovnik's spectacular Old Town in less than 30 minutes, is a similar distance from the hotel in the other direction. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay in the Hotel Dubrovnik, would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a very good 3-star hotel in the greater Dubrovnik area.

Here are a few minor points, which did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay in any way, but which guests need to aware of, and some of which hotel management might take on board to further improve its offering in the future: 1. You need to bear in mind that local taxes are payable at the hotel in addition to what you pay for the accommodation through Booking.com. (We paid a total of approximately €50 for the two of us for our 7-night stay.) 2. The hotel does not have a swimming pool - but we were aware of that before we booked. 3. A little bit more variation in the breakfast food options offered each day would be good. 4. A combination safe in the room would have been welcome. 5. The angle of reading lights could not be adjusted (in our room, at least).

Very nice little hotel near a beach and a beautiful bay... with a walkway long the cliffs and marvelous views. The location is also near to town, only 10 minutes away with a taxi. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excelent. The bathroom had been renewed and it was perfect. The hotel also has a nice restaurant.

The facilities are a little bit outdated... carpets are faded, matresses should be replaced.

Very comfortable bed. Hot water. I liked position overlooking thoroughfare. Loved coat hangers in room on wall. Very clean. Breakfast was adequate

Beds were really comfortable,AC worked perfectly. Central location with good bus connection. Beach is very nice. Reception staff with excellent English, very professional and good.

Breakfast was very good for three stars. Would prefer maybe fruit salads...

The dinner was great, and the waiter excellent. The receptionist was most helpful. The location wad ideal, just 80 metres from the beach.

Breakfast was disappointing and the cleanliness & hygiene of the breakfast area left a lot to be desired.

Everything was great! Very nice and helpful staff, very clean rooms, good breakfast, very good food in restaurant! Excellent location- close to the sea, wonderful promenade and two mountains (145 and 192 meter high) with wonderful views from above for those who like trekking.

In the apartment could be a little bit more electrical sockets, and lightproof curtains.

This is a very nice smaller hotel located on the pedestrian walkway where most of the modern hotels are located. There are plenty of cafés, restaurants and other places to relax in the area. if you continue on that walkway it will lead you to a very nice pathway along the ocean. The room was comfortable and the manager was very friendly and helpful.
