Sadly we only took advantage of the included breakfast on our second/last day. Our fault. We missed that point when Luca was telling us about Spirito Santo. We were both kicking ourselves when we did "finally' enjoy a fantastic breakfast in a truly unique setting. We did enjoy a wonderful dinner in the restaurant one night too. Amazing beef cheeks... literally melt in your mouth and lamb chops to 'die' for. Lots of great restaurants in Rovinj and with only 2 nights to spend there, this restaurant was definitely the best choice. I have to add that Luca and the staff were so very friendly and so helpful with our heavy luggage. We drove all around Croatia and had to use a private parking area for our rental. Luca helped with the luggage from the lot to the hotel making our stay just that much better. It is 'the little things".

My one "complaint" would be the size of the room... but since I booked a "Standard" room I really can't complain. If you need or enjoy a lot of room, you might consider one of their larger rooms. The room we did have was nice/clean... just a bit small, but again, that is on me.

A beautiful hotel in a great location in a charming city. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast was superb -- we did not try the dining in the evening. For our beach outing, we walked 2.5km south along the waterfront to the public beach -- it was great. Hotel staff gave us beach towels to use.

The shower/toilet area in our room was surprisingly small! Like taking a shower in a phone booth. We did not see any other guest rooms, so it's possible this was just a quirk of our unusually shaped room. Our room had a large window or sliding glass door looking directly at some upper dining tables in the restaurant a few feet away -- this was a little weird -- but the curtains were opaque so we could have privacy. The interior stone steps throughout the building could be quite challenging for anyone with any sort of disability or movement limitations. Watch your step! These were minor quirks, but were the reason I would rate as 9/10 instead of 10/10.

Nice little Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location to explore Rovinj. First class dinner in the restaurant and everything you can wish for breakfast. We arrived by car and got picked up at the last roundabout before the pedestrian zone. From there we got escorted to the parking lot and transferred to the hotel by Luca in a golf cart.

We had the top room with ‚balcony‘. The balcony actually is the rooftop which could be decorated a bit more nicely. The view from there is sensational.

The Spirito Santos Palazzo was welcoming and was a very unique place. Your surroundings while staying there will be of the utmost in comfort. The staff are extremely welcoming and so lovely and ready to help with anything you need. They really go above and beyond! The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Carmen will greet you and you will just fall in love with her. She will make you anything you like with a smile of course what a lovely lady! The dining room was small but lovely and cosy! Fabulous chef made an amazing meal for us. We will definitely be passing the word about this place we very much enjoyed our stay!!

The property is a precious little jewel box - small and compact but every detail has been considered. The staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful with a vaulted ceiling and very comfortable bed, the location was great and the breakfast was nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a visit to Rovinj.

The only small issue we had was the noise level. We were in the top suite and could hear the kitchen staff getting ready for breakfast quite clearly. Not sure how much sound proofing could be added at this stage but if you are a light sleeper in the early morning - it’s worth noting.

What an amazing find - this boutique hotel is tucked away a few short blocks from the center of Rovinj and is just an amazing place. Our ground-floor room was fabulous, with a semi-outdoor seating area coupled with an outdoor terrace, comfortable beds, a top-notch breakfast, and the most welcoming staff. The owner/designer spared nothing in the creation of the hotel, making excellent use of every space available. Be sure to stand in awe of the wine cellar that's built into an ancient cistern. Really.

Having to leave after just one night...

Luca was amazing! He was friendly, professional and bent over backwards to be helpful. When we first arrived, we called him and he immediately came to meet us to show us where to park then brought us along with all our luggage back to the hotel. Upon arrival, he brought all of our luggage to our room. After that he served us fresh ice tea while he checked us in. He provided restaurant suggestions and mapped out highlights.

This was an amazing stay! The check-in process was first class starting with the pick-up outside the parking area, luggage delivered to our room, and a complimentary welcome water/iced tea drink! The staff was very helpful in understanding both the features of the hotel and our room! The room was spectacular, and the service and meal options for the morning breakfast was excellent.

Really friendly and helpful staff, in a beautiful little hotel, full of interesting rooms and spaces. We really enjoyed the selection of food at breakfast, which was of excellent quality. Housekeeping was of the highest order. We'd definitely return if we were to visit Rovinj again. Particularly enjoyed being serenaded by guitarist at breakfast one day. Much nicer than . ..

. . . . normal ambient music at breakfast. A very small gripe. !!

Wonderful stay, entire staff made our stay even more magical. Our Suite was gorgeous and really well put together, great location, perfectly central and close to everything, easy parking and transfer to hotel with electric cart, welcome cocktail in the main building was great, breakfast next morning fabulous and the staff at every point was great. They are all energetic, helpful (good restaurant suggestions) and very hospitable overall. Makes the difference, really.

Room did not feel warm enough (temperature wise) on a cold damp day, we turned heat all the way up but still wasn't really warm. WiFi connection very weak, I mentioned at the check out (more dedicated routers will help). The shower floor gets very slippery when wet. Hot water also took a while to get going (we were on the top floor of an old building so it was understandable)..
