Beautiful view and boutique hotel feeling. Very friendly staff, especially Philip at the bar who looked after us very well!

The room was beautiful and bed comfortable. Pool area qas nice and we really liked the sauna too. Everything worked well and the hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast had Everything you could wish for: eggs in 4 different form and even bubbles and good orange juice for making mimosas. The bus from split stops right in front of the hotel and there is a small grocery store there too.

The place had little information available for guests, but of course staff was helpful. However some info about room, breakfast times, pool hours, minibar peices and things to do in Split would have been nice. But this is merely a little detail.

The Reception Staff were quite exceptional. They were so friendly and helpful. The room was superb as well as the view. When I had any questions the reception staff were able to assist and it was interesting to learn about the area, the climate and customs. When I had to leave very early this morning they arranged for the kitchen to be opened a half an hour earlier. The breakfast was magnificent. Again at reception if my taxi had not arrived the person on duty would have been only too happy to have assisted. The location of the Hotel is terrific and also at night. I had such an enjoyable time as this is the first holiday in three years. Please thank the Staff. The hotel is so quiet that I was able to have a restful stay

I had a stressful start to the holiday, and it all melted away when I arrived at Eden. It was easy to get to via car, and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The views are outstanding and the room is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Help and directions for Split really made it so much easier to know where to go, saving the inevitable time wasted getting lost. If you want a stress-free holiday, this really is the place to go. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a short break so much. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Small family run hotel paid xtra for superior room with sea view which we would recommend doing. Large room with nice modern bathroom and walk-in rainfall shower, small but adequate balcony and a smart TV. We loved this hotel and all its friendly staff. Special mention for Jelena Jay and Filip who always had a smile and a quick chat. Very clean lots of choice at breakfast buffet and the 3 nights we ate in delicious food. The hotel is in a quiet area with a few bars/restaurants on the pebble beach either side of it. There is a steep walk down to beach but you can use lift down through their garage to dodge some of this but still about 20 steps cut from hillside. If you want a peaceful holiday with great service we would definitely recommend Hotel Eden and we hope to return next year

The very busy road that hotel is on which has no crossing or proper pavements but it did not detract from our wonderful stay

Great location directly at the sea with access to beaches within 5 min walking distance. The facility is well kept and nicely renovated, especially the pool area and the gym where higher than my expectations. Halv board for 20 Euro/person was good as well. The room (suite with balcony) was great with an amazing view over the sea and perfect for a family with kids who needs more space. The town Podstrana is not to compare with staying on one of the beautiful islands but the hotel as such has a great beach location if you just want to relax and do not seek a big buzz in the evenings.

The hotel room price is pricy but it seems that everything was rather expensive in Croatia….

The breakfast was very good and diverse, even with champagne :) The staff guys (all of them, barista Phillip in particular) were very velcoming and flexible, they successfully helped us with any kind of arising questions. We liked the room (with bath equipped), the view from the balcony was magnificent too (2nd floor, room 206)! Also, there are 2 swimming pools (1 internal, spa zone, near sauna, so you can use that one in cause of bad weather, as we did in our first 2 days due to heavy rain; 1 bigger external). The food in the restaurant was also very good (I recommend trying sea bass in baking paper and veal Tomahawk) I also enjoyed training in small (yet equipped) gym, to counter amount of calories you get during relaxing vacation :) Overall, very solid experience!

Almost nothing to mention here: - Wi-fi stability in room numbers might have been better (too many disconnects, weak signal), if you manage to make it as stable as near the swimming pool, it'd be fantastic - Not a downside, just to mention - for the dinner (12 - 15PM) restaurant offers only limited branch menu, so often you need to consider dining in different place - Also, just to mention - the hotel does not have its own beach, however, it's not a problem, as the nearest beach is only 100m away (you need to take some stairs down to reach it)

The hotel itself its in a good location. It is just off a main road. There are lots of shops nearby which is great, and a bar and restaurant. We recommend going to Fabio's near to the hotel - lovely omelette and plenty of food choices. On our entry to the hotel we were greeted by Goran who is the loveliest person we met in Croatia. Our room was fantastic. We had a superior double room with a sea view balcony. Bathroom was amazing and shower was the best! The bed was comfortable too. The hotel does have an indoor pool and sauna, but we didn't realise until day 4 of our 5 day holiday - highly recommend going in there as its peaceful! The outdoor pool area was fantastic too with great views. The beach is less than minute walk from the hotel - you literally just have to walk down the hill. There's great food huts just down the road from the hotel by the beach. Recommend downloading the Uber app - it was a godsend! It is MUCH cheaper than using regular taxis and alot safer. It was a 10minute ride into Split town with great sights to see, especially the old Roman remains. Great market stalls too. We can recommend Struja restaurant - we had a lovely slow walk back to the hotel from here which took about 30minutes. We can also recommend going to Pizzeria Maslina in Split town - I had a beautiful tuna steak! We also recommend walking from the hotel all the way along the beach to the Marina - some great restaurants and amazing boats. We travelled via Uber to the Marjan mountain which is a beautiful, breathtaking protected reserve that no cars are allowed on - it took about 20mins to get to the gate in the taxi from the hotel. Would like to add that Goran (hotel staff member) was amazing! I was quite unwell during my stay and he was so kind and so helpful. He was a pleasure to be around and had a great energy that made us feel so, so comfortable! Thank you!

Hotel Eden exceeding our expectations. First, the staff. Each person we encountered from front desk, to room maintenance to the restaurant is warm, helpful and hospitable. 2) This hotel is VERY CLEAN! When hotels are this clean I know everyone takes pride in their place of work. It was sparkling clean. 3) The restaurant. Don't sleep on the dinner here. We had the most delicious, fresh fish dinners. Also, the Croatian wine was very good 4). Location - excellent location to walk on the Podstrana promenade. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants AND beaches. 5) Our family room with four adults and two tweens was spacious and the beds comfortable. We had a sea view from one bedroom that was spectacular.

Nothing. If we visit Split agin, we will most certainly book Hotel Eden.

Excellent service by personnel both at the reception (thanks Michael!), restaurant and pool area. Very clean. Very good breakfast. We had dinner at the restaurant once and both food and service were very good. The hotel provides good recommendation on restaurants for dinner (the only time we chose ourselves following great online reviews we had a dreadful experience). Bus stop next to the hotel to go to Split (2.50 EUR each way, modern air conditioned bus, it took 40 min to the city with morning traffic, 20 min on the way back).

The room was smaller than expected. For 300 EUR/ night we had higher expectations. We knew the hotel had no private beach, we did not expect the astronomical prices asked for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella by the nearby hotels running the beaches close to the marina. Found some shade under the trees by the path next to the sea (go early in the morning to find a spot in high season). The whole area is highly overpriced: it was our first time in Croatia and because of the general price/quality ratios we will not go back.
